Deep within a secret base in the Land of Fire, a group of legendary shinobi sat in silence inside a stone chamber.
Hashirama Senju, Madara Uchiha, Tobirama Senju, and Minato Namikaze all sat quietly on their stone stools, waiting.
"Tobirama, you seem very happy these past few days," Hashirama said, his tone curious as he glanced at his younger brother across the room.
Tobirama gave a faint chuckle. "Brother, I recently met a very talented child in Konoha. Her talent in Water Release is quite extraordinary."
"Oh?" Hashirama's eyes brightened. "So you took her as your disciple?"
"Of course." Tobirama nodded calmly, confirming it.
Meanwhile, in another corner of the base, Boruto stood before four still figures.
The bodies of Uchiha Itachi, Nagato, Uzumaki Mito, and Kushina Uzumaki lay silently under soft blankets, their faces peaceful.
Four silver-white Reincarnation Spiritual Orbs floated into their bodies as Boruto quickly formed a series of hand seals.
"Edo Tensei!"
The ground lit up with a web of glowing seals, spreading outward to form a summoning array that tightly encircled the four.
A ring of white light rose from the floor.
Their bodies began to shimmer faintly as countless paper-like fragments rose and drifted toward them, fusing together to rebuild their physical forms.
Finally, the outlines became clear—their bodies fully restored.
"I am…" Itachi's voice trembled with confusion at first, then steadied as his eyes cleared. He looked around at his unfamiliar surroundings.
"Yakushi Kabuto," he muttered, spotting Boruto wearing a fox mask, with Kabuto standing quietly behind him.
"Have you already broken the Izanami genjutsu?"
Kabuto gave a faint smile. "Your genjutsu truly is powerful, Itachi. I'm still affected by it to this very day."
Itachi frowned. "You look… different. Has that much time passed already?"
He then turned toward the red-haired man beside him. "Nagato. You've also been brought back by Edo Tensei?"
Nagato nodded. "Yeah. I didn't expect to experience Edo Tensei again, but this time… my body feels far better than before."
Kushina, standing nearby, stared at another red-haired woman wearing a traditional headdress. "Wait… are you Lady Mito?"
Mito smiled softly. "Kushina, you've grown so much. But… is this Tobirama's Edo Tensei? What exactly is happening here?"
Even Itachi seemed uneasy. "So… even Kushina and Mito have been revived. Kabuto, what are you planning?"
Kabuto simply pointed to Boruto. "You should ask him. I now follow his orders."
Boruto spread his arms, introducing himself coolly. "Welcome back to the world of the living, everyone. I am Uchiha Menma."
"Uchiha?" Mito repeated quietly. "Madara's clan?"
Her gaze flicked toward Nagato. "Red hair… a descendant of the Uzumaki Clan, I presume."
Kushina's eyes narrowed. The mention of the Uchiha name brought back memories she wished to forget.
"Uchiha… Sharingan… that masked man!"
She clenched her fists tightly.
Itachi's expression hardened. "Uchiha? That's impossible. Sasuke should be the only one left."
He activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, but despite the intense ocular power surrounding Boruto, he couldn't see through him.
Even Nagato, with his Rinnegan, shook his head slightly. "His chakra… it's completely obscured."
Could it be… Madara Uchiha himself? Itachi wondered silently.
Boruto seemed to sense their unease. "Relax. Uchiha Menma is just an alias. My true identity isn't something I can reveal yet."
Nagato frowned. "Then what do you want with us? To destroy Konoha again?"
Boruto raised an eyebrow. "Destroy Konoha? Oh, come on, Nagato. Wasn't one Shinra Tensei enough? You want to go for round two?"
Nagato sighed. "No. I've already entrusted my hopes to my junior. I won't attack Konoha again."
"Good," Boruto said. "Then come with me. There are people you need to meet."
The group followed him to another stone room. Inside, the four legendary Hokage sensed powerful chakra approaching.
Hashirama suddenly stood. "That chakra… Mito!"
Minato's eyes widened. "Kushina… you've been revived too?" His voice trembled as he felt her familiar chakra presence.
Madara scowled, feeling Hashirama's joy beside him. "Hmph."
Tobirama exhaled sharply. "Even sister-in-law was brought back by that Uchiha Menma. How troublesome."
When Boruto entered with the others, everyone in the room froze.
"Mito!" Hashirama called out in disbelief as Mito stepped forward and clasped his hands.
"Hashirama…" she said softly, eyes glistening.
Madara turned away sharply with a cold snort, refusing to watch the touching reunion.
Meanwhile, Minato rushed forward. "Kushina!"
"Minato!" she cried, throwing herself into his arms.
"Everyone, please," Boruto said, raising his hand. "We can catch up later. Right now, I have something important to announce."
Once everyone had taken their seats again, Boruto gestured toward two figures.
"Most of you already know one another, but perhaps not these two. This is Uchiha Itachi—and this is Nagato."
At that, Tobirama frowned. "Another Uchiha brat? The clan of natural evil."
Itachi gave a faint, self-deprecating smile. "Yes… the sinner who slaughtered his entire clan. An evil Uchiha indeed."
"What did you just say?" Tobirama's eyes widened. "You wiped out the Uchiha Clan?! Wait… Uchiha Itachi… you're Sasuke's brother?"
His shock shifted into a grin. "Ah… my mistake. I spoke too soon."
He straightened up, his tone almost apologetic. "You're right, Uchiha Itachi. You're an innately good Uchiha."
Itachi blinked, caught off guard by the sudden reversal. "Innately… good?"
He gave a small, bewildered laugh, unsure whether to feel insulted or praised.
