Valkyris-Sergian's eyes narrowed, the pupils flashing. The air trembled as the fusion beast sensed an approaching presence, a blaze that felt divine.
With a soundless roar that shook the earth, it raised its halberd.
The first swing tore the sky apart.
The second split the horizon.
And the third—a sigil-shaped sweep—drove into the earth.
A pulse erupted outward.
The ground cracked in a perfect circle, ancient symbols igniting crimson beneath the soil. The forest collapsed inward as if the weight of existence bent toward the creature's power. The air grew heavy—too dense to breathe.
Then the circle came alive.
The ruins became a nest of light-made spectral snakes. Each entity moved like smoke and revealed its maw, showing a light that looked like venom. In unison of those serpent hissing whisperer filled the crumbling remains and appeared as an attack on sanity.
They twisted up, wrapping each other body , blocking the last bits of sunlight.
Then, the sky went dark like void.
And in one shared instinct, the serpents lunged—
—toward the heavens, where the red deer horned dragon of blazing crimson flame descended like a divine judgment.
Impact.
The flame dragon met the swarm mid-air. Fire devoured void, void consumed flame. The collision was not heard—it was felt.
The mountain split.
The sky cracked.
The forest ceased to exist.
Golden flame and black void collided, twisting together like blood and oil. The shockwave rolled outward, swallowing everything within reach until the world itself went silent.
Above that silence, Abraham floated.
The sun like Golden-orange light still flickered over his "Flame Thrown" form, the remnants of divine fire clinging to his skin. Six wings of light spread behind him, each feather burning like the edge of dawn.
Below—nothing remained.
No trees.
No mountain.
No battlefield.
Only a crater stretching for miles, a wound of ash and molten earth.
The system blinked before him.
[Achievement Unlocked — Enemy Body Nowhere to Be Found]
Abraham sighed, turning his head upward. a lopsided smile forming on his face.
"Like the old days," he said quietly. "families won't even have a body to bury, they should thank me that I'm saving lot of their times."
He descended down gently, the orange-gold flames that had engulfed him softening to a faint glow. His dark cloak, torn at the edges, flapped a bit as his golden wings settled. The impact of his landing stirred up dust around his feet as he stood in the center of the huge crater.
The wings shimmered once—then vanished into air.
The system chimed again.
[Flame Thrown — Deactivated]
[Girekars Virgeon Hollow Sword Converted: Summoning Weapon Stored in System Inventory]
[Beast Taming Progress — Valkyris-Sergian: 0.7%]
Abraham blinked.
"…Zero point seven percent?"
He stared at the glowing text of system, in bit of disbelief.
"I just obliterate half of the forest maybe the whole forest, and In return only 0.7% progression? You sure about that you've mistaken, I guess ."
He then let out a deep sigh and wiped ash and dust from his cloak and pant. The world around him shimmered faintly from residual heat. No life stirred—no sound, no breath, just ruin.
"Guess that's done," he murmured, stretching his shoulders. "Now to—"
He froze, eyes narrowing.
"…Where's my horse?"
Silence.
Abraham scanned the blackened expanse—nothing. No hooves. No neigh. Not even bones.
"Oh, right," he muttered. "Probably got vaporized. Fantastic. That's on me."
He stared north, where the road used to be. The explosion had cleared everything. The route ahead was cleared like lake , a lane of ash stretching into the distance a sight to see.
"Well," he muttered in his mind while his upper left lip stretching up, "at least the path is clear this time"
The wind moved faint embers around him as his flames went out, showing the dark shadow-armored figure under them—damaged, burned, but on its feet. His golden glowing eyes, mirroring the ruin like twin suns caught in eclipse.
He started to walk to the north it's a long way to the north though, slowly, across the quiet wasteland. Each step sank into the burned ground with a soft crunch.
"Man…" he muttered under his breath. "I really worked out today. Should've done some stretching first."
He snorted at his own thought. "Flame Thrown, huh? only first tier and man it took all out of me"
System blinked again, mockingly bright in yellow screen.

Abraham stared at the message. "You're getting way too sentient, you know that?"
The blue screen faded, leaving only silence.
He chuckled faintly and kept walking.
The air shimmered, tiny bits of divine fire drifting away like fading stars of void. As the wind pushed them towards the horizon, Abraham silhouette stood darkened against the dim glow of the burning blue sky.
Even though everything was quiet, one thing was still certain—
fire or void, gods or beasts—
he would burn through them all
Abraham kept walking through the ruined plain, embers rising around him like lost souls. Each step echoed faintly across the hollowed land. His cloth still steamed, the faint glow of mana fading under the soot.
He exhaled, his mouth carved a ridiculous smile .
"Hell…" he muttered. "That bastard's final attack was cool."
He kicked a small chunk of blackened stone aside.
"Thousand snakes twisting into one giant serpent with those fanged jaws—yeah, I'll give it that. For a second, I thought it'd bite my dragon in half."
He rolled his shoulders, his tone turning almost casual despite the devastation.
"Thank my dragon it didn't. Wiped the whole damn forest instead. Left me a crater the size of a city. Great. Real subtle."
He looked up at the skyline ahead of him squinted his eyes against the dying sunset.
"Yeah… this will be find out soon. Hard to hide a hole this big."
A long pause.
Then a groan slipped from him.
"…I'm more worried about the principal," he muttered darkly. "Heard he came back to the Academy today. If he sees this mess, he's gonna kill me before the next beast does."
