Hawk Group Private Hospital
Hawk Group's security forces were locked in fierce combat, resisting an assault by Extremis Warriors.
"Get Mr. Stark out first," Andre ordered the guards beside him.
"Yes, sir."
"I'll leave him to you," Tony Stark said irritably, but he knew now wasn't the time to cause trouble.
"You HYDRA dogs," Andre snarled. "When I find your real base, wipe your necks clean and wait—I'll twist them off myself."
With a burst of telekinesis, he shattered the glass beside him.
The security teams reacted instantly to the surprise attack, demonstrating elite training and coordination. Flames and intense heat warped the air throughout the hospital corridors. The Extremis Warriors opened fire relentlessly, their weapons roaring as guards fought back amid flying bullets and sparks.
One warrior raised a high-heat weapon and unleashed a torrent of fire, scorching the walls. Security personnel scattered for cover, suppressing him with coordinated fire.
In a corridor, a guard calmly pulled a grenade. As the warrior charged, he threw it and dove aside. The explosion hurled the attacker backward, his armor dented and scorched—yet his skin began to writhe and regenerate.
"So annoying… so damn annoying," Andre muttered.
He lifted a warrior into the air with his mind and clenched his hand.
SPLAT.
Blood erupted in a crimson mist, raining down onto the floor.
Reinforcements arrived—Umbrella Corporation–equipped security units moving in squads, using cover to distract the Extremis Warriors while supporting Andre.
The warriors radiated unbearable heat. Their weapons absorbed thermal energy and unleashed searing beams and fireballs capable of turning everything to ash.
A fireball suddenly screamed down the corridor.
"Back," Andre said calmly, flicking his wrist.
The fireball reversed direction and detonated beside its owner, engulfing the area in flames.
Andre stood composed within the inferno, telekinesis shielding him as he analyzed their tactics.
A high-temperature beam spiraled toward him. Andre smashed the ground with telekinesis, raising a barrier. Then his eyes narrowed—a telekinetic beam shot forward.
BOOM.
The warrior vanished in light and fire.
Andre's telekinesis flowed seamlessly between offense and defense. One warrior after another fell.
Another attacker attempted to flank him with fireballs. Andre condensed debris into a massive wall, blocking the assault.
"Can't I get one damn day of rest?" Andre muttered, irritation flashing in his eyes.
The ground trembled. A massive psychic shockwave surged outward, forcing the warriors back.
"So I'm your target," Andre said coldly. "Trying to kill me?"
One warrior roared and fired an even stronger heat beam. Fire and telekinesis collided, tearing the air into a swirling vortex of energy.
Andre smiled faintly. His psychic power surged—overwhelming, crushing.
The warriors shattered like glass. Their weapons disintegrated into dust.
"Ha… finally, someone interesting."
A mocking voice echoed through the flames.
A figure emerged, gripping a blazing weapon, eyes burning with madness.
"Another uninvited guest," Andre said as a telekinetic blade formed in his hand.
"I'm the Winter Soldier," the man said coldly. "Remember this—I will kill you."
The flaming weapon transformed into a sword of fire and came crashing down.
Andre raised a psychic shield. The impact exploded in sparks and flame, but he slipped away unharmed.
"So—you're the enhanced one," Andre said.
A psychic gale blasted the Winter Soldier backward. Objects spiraled into a telekinetic cyclone.
The Winter Soldier sliced through it with precision, fire bending to his will. He pressed the attack.
"You can't stop me."
"Really?" Andre replied calmly. "Then try my new trick."
The air grew heavy. Light, wind, and shadow bent to Andre's control.
The Winter Soldier slowed. His flaming blade dulled.
"This is my domain now," Andre said confidently.
He thrust both hands forward.
The psychic field collapsed inward.
The Winter Soldier strained desperately, muscles trembling as fire and telekinesis collided in blinding light. The hospital itself seemed on the verge of collapse.
His body warped. The flames weakened.
"Die," Andre commanded.
The Winter Soldier roared and reignited his blade—but it wasn't enough.
Under crushing pressure, his resistance failed.
His body collapsed. The fire went out.
He vanished.
Andre exhaled and steadied himself—then staggered. Blood streamed from his nose.
"Hmph… I need to recharge. Anger drains me."
He surveyed the wreckage. The battle was over—but HYDRA was not.
"I should call the others. See how they're holding up."
Elsewhere
Aldrich Killian, accompanied by the mind-controlled Pepper Potts, Rhodey, and Extremis soldiers, confronted the fleeing President Matthew Ellis.
Aldrich glanced at his obedient companions, intrigued—and wary. If these methods worked so well, would the same fate one day await him?
"Matthew," Aldrich said coldly, "today is the day you die. Not even God can stop me from saying that."
He waved his hand.
"Let's go."
