Fairy world
The night was filled with mist when the dark shadows came back into the valley.
Inside the ancient castle, the black torches were burning with dark green fire, their light bending against the walls making it a bit scary.
The tall figure — dressed in black, eyes with bit crimson light— stood before the mirror once more.
His reflection bit blur as the mist-creatures bowed low before him.
One of them spoke, its voice was like it was scared.
"Master....we followed her and found her house but when we tried to enter we were not able to do so"
"Could not enter ? "His voice was soft but scary.
The shadows trembled. "There was a barrier around her home— it didn't let us enter .It was the same as the Enchanted Forest barrier."
For a moment, silence filled the vast hall. Then the man's cold laugh echoed through it.
"Firstly, they were always trying to come in my way and now their son is always trying to ruin my plans..... It is not easy to hide from me"
He stepped closer to the mirror, his crimson gaze reflecting faintly.
"The barrier may keep us out"he said slowly "but she won't always stay inside"
The mist rose behind him
"Keep watching her , try to lure her out and keep an eye on her"
The creatures bowed low again. "As you command, my lord."
Then they vanished into the mist.
(Then the scene shifts…)
Far away, Amelia turned in her sleep.
A soft light glowed at her wrist, faint and light.
The dream was beginning again — but this time, the forest wasn't as bright as before.
Amelia's surroundings shifted — the mist around her clearing and she could see large trees.
She was standing in the Enchanted Forest again, but this time, everything was quieter… emptier. The leaves no longer glowed with soft magic; instead, a faint whisper of wind carried through the trees, like the forest itself was holding its breath.
"Grandmother?" Amelia called softly, her voice echoing .
A faint blue glow formed , Slowly, a figure emerged — tall, graceful, dressed in silver robes. It was her grandmother. But her expressions were grave.
"Amelia…" the voice was warm but full with sorrow. "You must not stay here for long the darkness calls for you. The darkness is coming— it watches through your reflection."
"My reflection?" Amelia frowned. "What does that supposed mean? And why do you always talk in riddles?"
Her grandmother smiled faintly, but her eyes were filled with tension.
"You have to learn to control your powers and try to feel the magic around you only then you will succeed in your mission "
Before Amelia could reply, a low whisper came through the air. It wasn't her grandmother's voice. It was darker.
"You can't hide forever…"
Amelia's eyes widened. The forest darkened around her — shadows started coming between trees. Her grandmother's form began to fade, her light started to flicker.
"Wake up dear!!"
Amelia gasped and sat straight in her bed, her breath heavy. The room was dim, early morning light coming through the curtains. The mark on her wrist glowed faintly before stopping.
Sophie was also sleeping beside her and she also woke up rubbing her eyes.
"Bad dream?" she murmured sleepily.
Amelia hesitated. "It wasn't… just a dream. She came in my dreams again. My grandmother. And that creepy voice ."
Sophie sat up, concerned. "You mean that creepy voice you heard before?"
Amelia nodded slowly. "It said… I can't hide forever."
Silence fell for a moment. The ticking of the clock filled the room.
Then Sophie took a deep breath. "Okay. That's it. We can't wait anymore now . We're going to find some clues from your father...."
After some thought she said
"Since we were children your father never let us see or enter his study room .lets find some clues there first . If your father's hiding something, it's probably in there."
Amelia also said
"It's locked," she said softly. "he Always locks it when he is not around."
"Then we'll find the key." Sophie crossed her arms with determination. "How hard can it be?"
Amelia sighed but couldn't help a small smile. "You really never back down, do you?"
Sophie grinned. "Not when my best friend's caught up in a fairy mess.."
