While Misery's group was engaged in the great Kanna avatar throwing operation on the periphery,
The main body of Kanna inside was also not idle.
She wielded her weapon, delivering surgical-precision strikes from the inside out.
Under the curtain of rain, as long as someone dared to show their head, no one could escape her sight.
Under the powerful pressure from both inside and outside, this team quickly fell into collapse.
After all, the purple lights whizzing across the battlefield were too terrifying; those lights brought Death to one position after another.
A teammate who was fine on comms one second would let out a scream the next and then fall silent. Coupled with the gloomy sky and the drizzling rain, it wasn't until the casualties approached half that this team began to collapse, which could already be said to be a top-tier elite unit.
Misery was not happy about this, but rather worried. After all, if an enemy with such a unit were to cause trouble for Rhodes Island, perhaps no one except a few of the top Elite Operators would dare to guarantee survival in an encirclement.
Even the top elites couldn't guarantee their team's hope of survival when facing such an encirclement.
Now, Rhodes Island's hope lay with the commander he had captured. As long as he extracted information from him, knew who was against them, and made the enemy surface, then even if they couldn't win in a direct confrontation, with Kal'tsit's abilities, she would find a way to make the enemy stop or be too preoccupied to deal with their side.
"Everyone, in pairs, free pursuit, but remember, do not leave the rainy area, remember not to leave the rainy area!"
Upon discovering that the enemy began to flee, Misery decisively issued new orders.
Misery did not participate in the team members' mop-up operations, but instead tightly bound the few live captives he had caught with ropes. Then, if anyone showed signs of regaining consciousness, he would immediately give them another blow to keep them unconscious, to prevent anyone from escaping or using arts to self-detonate.
After a period of charging and killing, Kanna also lost interest in such defenseless prey. She quickly found Misery by following the previously locked-on position.
Seeing Kanna jump in from outside, Misery nodded, then pulled out a tissue from his bag and handed it over.
"Wipe your face!"
Kanna took the tissue and wiped the rain from her face. Then she stood in an open space, clenching her hands, and a current surged from her body, quickly evaporating all the rain from her clothes and hair.
Feeling that she was no longer damp, Kanna smiled and sat down beside Misery.
"Uncle Misery, it seems like it's been a long time since we sat together like this. I still remember your grilled Originium Bug; that stuff tasted really good."
Misery didn't speak when he heard Kanna's words. To be fair, they often met on Rhodes Island, but they rarely talked.
Aside from the initial days when she was brought back to Rhodes Island, their most extensive communication had been during this mission.
Just as Misery was about to speak, Kanna frowned slightly, "Who is the Operator advancing in the back-left direction?"
Kanna suddenly pointed in a direction and asked.
"Steel Plate and Giant Ant!" Misery said immediately after glancing at the direction Kanna was pointing.
"Operator Steel Plate and Operator Giant Ant, please pay attention to the path ahead. The enemy has likely set up an ambush fifty meters in front of you. Please be careful and avoid it."
As soon as Misery finished speaking, Kanna immediately spoke into her earpiece.
"Understood!" Giant Ant's voice came through the earpiece. Under the observation of the Rain Tiger, the two slowed down and cautiously approached the enemy's ambush.
Soon, Kanna used her clones, which the two had thrown into the ambush, to clearly see the surrounding situation. Just as Kanna had said, even though the enemy's morale had collapsed, their leader was captured, and their command was in disarray, they still set up a rather brilliant ambush while retreating.
It was just a pity they encountered Kanna, who was an unreasonable map hacker. As soon as she noticed the enemy's unusual halt and encirclement, Kanna sent a warning to the Operators there.
Under the attack of the two clones, the makeshift ambush position was easily breached, and the enemies involved in the ambush were quickly wiped out. At this point, Steel Plate and Giant Ant, who had approached from behind, looked at the mess and the corpses on the ground within the ambush circle and felt incredibly fortunate.
If not for Kanna's warning, the two might have walked right into the ambush.
Even if they had thrown Kanna's clones, at such a close distance, they would likely have perished with these enemies.
"You can see those enemies from where you're sitting?" Misery was curious about Kanna's newly displayed ability.
"The rainwater is my eyes!" Kanna looked up slightly, a proud expression on her face.
"The grand path is vast, the divine sound eternal," as Misery's words fell, an Electro Seed appeared in his hand.
"I remember this spell didn't have this effect before!" Misery continued to ask, looking at the Electro Seed in his hand, which emitted a faint purple glow like a beautiful purple teardrop.
"Of course not! But I thought it was too silly to individually conjure Electro Seeds for people, so I simply set up an additional spell. As long as someone has the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye attached to them, then upon reciting this phrase, they can directly activate the spell and transform the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye into an Electro Seed that can manifest my clone."
This spell was developed by Kanna herself in her room when she was previously confined. It looked very impressive, but in reality, it belonged to the basic trigger-based spells in sorcery.
The trigger incantation was also born out of Kanna's simple playful mindset. Triggering it in other ways always felt like it lacked a certain flair, so she finally decided to use the eight characters "The grand path is vast, the divine sound eternal" as the spell's trigger condition.
"As long as you're within this rain, you can bestow this Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye? Is there no distance limit?"
"As long as it's raining, there's no limit. However, if they go indoors, I can track them for a maximum of five minutes." Kanna had already experimented extensively with the new effects of her Pray for Rain.
If not in the open or in contact with rainwater, Kanna couldn't lock onto people indoors. After contact with rainwater, if the target entered a building, whether friend or foe, Kanna could continue tracking for a maximum of five minutes.
Moreover, she didn't see their actions, but rather it was like a mini-map in a strategy game. She could only determine the general direction of movement and stopping points of crowds through all the moving dots on the mini-map.
