The Librarian switches her posture, slightly more authoritarian.
{She will play hard to get}.
I control myself, not scoffing at her last futile resource, desperately trying to create a berrier between us. "You are quite insidious, Young Gentleman. Perhaps you find satisfaction in playing with the feelings of Old Dames like me?". Her long dainty fingers trail a grey front lock, formerly a silver.
{I guess the hair is a factor more relevant and important of what i can grasp. Still. I certainly made an impression on her, which lights up why is so adamant. Not wanting to fall into what might be the prank of a snobbish Pure Scion, even if i come from another world}.
"On the contrary Cresseida. I love to rekindle the embers within the sensitive, warmth core of a Female". I lean close, my lips an inch away from her's. "There are not many miracles as spectacular and genuine, as the relentless passion and desire bottled up through the years… , Spill them on me, so i can quench my thirst…".
Cresseida is about to reduce the last stretch separating us, but her sight is deviated dimly, her eyes reflecting the Silver haired Young Sophomore, who walks towards us, too absorbed in reading a book, bumping against my back.
I could not be moved by such impromptu accident, but serves me as a convincing excuse to peck Cresseida's soft lips.
The Librarian does a step back, just like the Young Sophomore. "My Apologies Young Gentleman!". Says hurriedly the Silver haired damsel, grabbing her book, borrowing it from the Library, departing fast, almost as if the reading content, was a highly guarded secret.
Ignoring my thoughts, i glimpse Cresseida, hinting my interest to kiss her properly.
"My shift ends in two hours". She reveals, and my grin grows bigger.
"Recommend me something to read".
"Maybe you should learn about the Embryon?".
"Why?".
"To expand your level limit beyond nine, Young Gentleman". Cresseida comments as if were the most obvious answer in Loutharn, which it may be.
"I thought that Spirituality is mandatory to get an Embryon".
The Librarian negates resolutely. "A dumb, unfounded and incorrect popular belief in this continent. «Spirituality» makes the User to control the Embryon, but doing it trough this method, the Creature loses its free will. Allowing the «Pact» or «Contract» to not be broken, since the Contracted is objectively mindless. «You» as the Contractor, can have a second Embryon, without having to worry about their personalities clashing, which usually would had lead, to revoke one or both Contracts".
"So the «Ritual» is basically asking these Majestic Creatures to become a Slave?".
"It's a crude way of putting it, but in short, accurate, Young Gentleman. Therefore, not many Beings would stoop so low to accept a Contract under such dire, belittling and unfair circumstances".
"Understandable. But considering your words, i can infer other ways to obtain an Embryon exist".
"Many Young Gentleman. But youngsters this days, and even in my prime, didn't have the patience, wisdom or experience to understand it. Limiting themselves to the practices traditionally respected in the Zaggrioth Meritocracy, instead of employ everything Loutharn has to offer".
{I like the way she talks}.
"Reiterating. What suggestions you have for me?. If possible, avoiding Spirituality".
Cresseida list a series of books related to the topic regarding the way to acquire Embryons without relaying on the brainwashing repercussion tied to the intrusive thoughts and manipulations «Spiritually» can extort.
{Stats are much more complex than just a number in an interface, amplifying all the capabilities we possess. The «Stats» influence us at biological level. I must not take them lightly}.
Two hours pass without delay. The subject regarding the Embryons is fascinating, and to finish all the content available, i need to borrow a few books, though i don't have the membership or credential to do such a thing.
Fortunately for me, Cresseida can take more than one book from the Library.
Of course. I'm not interested in her for the advantages she can provide, such as her status as a Librarian. If not to fulfill my ulterior motives, even if they were clearly stipulated from the very beginning. Cresseida's Perks being just an excellent added bonus.
"Thank you for assisting me".
"You don't have to be grateful. Is enough if you listen carefully…".
"I do not agree, let me make it up to you…".
"Young Gentleman, you had accompanied me to my residence. Is sufficient. Cresseida reports to me, stopping at the porch of Larissa's Building. Seeing said Landlady is watching us from her balcony.
"I am here to assist, and please you Cresseida. Regardless. May i have a token of your «Good Will»?".
"You really are very insistent, «Young Gentleman»!".
"Vurckair".
Cresseida sighs, watching my mouth, going for a kiss.
"Not a fleeting fast peck, a real kiss, her arms wrapping around my neck, her tongue assaulting my lips.
Aware of her proactiveness, i let her take the lead.
Older Woman are breed into kinds. Desperate to prove themselves, because could be their last affair. And those who want to put you in place for being cocky. The rest is a variation or extrapolation of this two kinds.
Her initiative is commendable, infiltrating my mouth with her long parted tongue, slippery clashing against mine.
The Librarian's eyes are reptilian, like her tongue. Which makes me want to feel the smoothness of hee lick in another part of my body, one much longer and stiffer.
Responding meekly to her advance, she redoubles her impetus, the allure of teaching a lesson to a Pure Scion must be addictive and intoxicating, because she doesn't care when my hands travel from resting on Cresseida's waist, to her bountiful rear.
I press a bit further of what i could chew, forgetting the women of Loutharn are not too accustomed to show public affection. Of course there are exceptions, but it seems that moderating myself outdoors, is a must.
"It's late". Cresseida shrugs, panting and cutting her speech as her hands reach my wrists, not comfortable with being groped in the street.
But her attitude switches to surprise when the door's metal hasp is slammed abruptly, moved by the fleeting orange hue of Emts around it.
Galishia rapidly opens the door, ready to receive Cresseida, but Larissa leans over the balcony, showing off her excessive cleavage.
"Are you joining us for the Supper Vurckair?".
Cresseida is stunned by Larissa's comment, almost dismayed with my reply.
"Indeed, Landlady". I step into the vestibule, touching Galish's cheek. "Surprise me".
She blushes and nods, closing the door while I start reading another book, because after my meal, I will visit Seinnissia…
