The western district of Canopy City lays in ruin. Building were either completely destroyed or had extreme damages. At the first the damage was contained to around the gate but Ty and Raiden's fight had gone out of hand.
The ground was covered in scars from slashing. The death knight's dark sword moved faster than the eye could see. Every swing did at least some damage whether that be to the players or the surroundings.
Ty stood tall in the wreckage a lunar glow covering him. Jericho stood a couple feet away from him behind a half destroyed wall, his hand stretched out and his eyes closed in prayer. The orcs many wounds began to clear up, but the exhaustion remained.
Raiden was sitting beside Jericho nursing a fractured shin. A scar split his face right above the nose.
"Am I good to go? He can't hold him off alone for too long."
"Just wait a minute son. After I recover from healing him you'll be fine."
The older wolf closed his eyes again to meditate and recover energy. On the other side of the wall Ty had a determined smile on his face while flexing his arms.
"Hoo! Back in form. Let's get to it Skelly!"
He brandished his great sword and in the same movement dashed at the death knight. Their swords clashed and sparks flew everywhere. The clash didn't stop, it wouldn't stop. Not until someone backed off or was forced back.
'This time, I win!'
Ty grit his teeth and forced his sword forward. His feet practically burrowed into the ground as their clash continued.
The death knight was ever unimpressed, no thoughts in his skull. It simply fought because it was ordered to do so, its sword never faltering. The clash continued with neither side willing to accept defeat.
From the side a blue streak shot at the death knight. Raiden, now fully healed, attacked the skeleton with a cool expression. A punch coated in blue mana struck its shoulder and only a second after another hit its body.
The death knight's sword buckled under Ty's strength as the damage disrupted it. A low grunt echoed as Ty forced his sword down on the death knight. The great sword drove into the undead's head. Its helmet was split and its skull was about to be the same.
The skeleton quickly swung its sword up before it could be killed. A lound clang resounded as Ty's sword was forced up. The death knight quickly backed away, putting some distance between it and Ty.
"Close... You're dead next time Skelly!"
An almost maniacal smile crossed Ty's face as he once again shot at the skeleton. The two clashed swords as the death knight kept deflecting his attacks and backing away.
"Can you make him stay still? This is getting annoying!"
Ty shouted at Raiden who was looking for an opening.
"That's what I'm doing. Dumbass"
Raiden shot at the death kight and kicked it in the shin. His foot shone a bright blue. covered in mana. The impact of his kick made the death knight stagger for a second.
Ty took this opening with a smile. His sword came crashing down on top of the death knight as it tried to stabilize itself. Their swprds clashed but this time only for a second.
The impact of Ty's swing on top of its already destabilized footing forced the death knight on its knee. Raiden then came rushing back with a heavy punch carrying all his momentum. A loud crack resounded as a couple teeth flew off the skull.
Ty stepped up to the half dead skeleton and raised his sword.
"It was fun while it lasted Skelly. You gotta die now."
The great sword came falling straight on the crack it left behind. The sword fell perfectly into its spot before completing the job. The skeleton's two halves fell on opposite sides as the attack ended.
Just outside the gate things were not going as well. Bryan and his soldiers fought valiantly but most didn't make it. They simply weren't strong enough to fight a silver level creature.
The undead assasin dashed from soldier to soldier leaving behind corpses. In the end only Bryan and his most trusted deputies survived.
The group of 5 stood bravely in front of the skeleton. Bryan looked back at the city for a second before addressing his men.
"I won't lie to you we might not survive this, but we have to fight. If this bastard gets through us who will stop it in the city? Just look what one of these silver undead did to our city! If this one gets away the damages will be immeasurable. Our children, our wives, our parents, our friends. They could all die if we don't fight now. You can't run from this but you can choose to face it. Let's go!"
He charged forward without even looking back to see if they had followed him, but they did. Soon all five of them charged side by side at the assasin, they once again surrounded it as best they could. Bryan stepped forward and engaged it directly while his deputies supported.
Bryan and the undead assasin clashed constantly but he was noticeably slower. More and more wounds began to emerge on his body. Small cuts littered his face and blood began to seep into his right eye.
The skeleton on the other hand was the same as always. No damage marked it's bones. A deputy stepped forward and stabbed with her spear. Moving more flexibly than a skeleton should the undead assasin twisted around the attack. It dushed at the deputy and stabbed forward.
A dagger puerced ghrpugh the deputy's neck and she fell dead. The remaining deputies began to show fear. Their weapons shook slightly and their eyes began flying around almost looking for a way out.
"AAAAAAAGHHHHHH"
With a crazed shout Bryan shot at the skeleton. He swung his sword recklessly in grief. More and more wounds appeared on his body. He was covered in blood pretty much head to toe. It was clear he would die here, there was no surviving this amount of blood loss.
Stil Bryan pressed on constantly attacking, he kept stepping forward. The closer he got to the skeleton the more he swung his sword. A couple of his attacks had gotten through exposing all of the undead's major joints.
Bryan continued to swing wildly, accelerating his own death in the hopes of killing his enemy. He struck while specifically aiming for the skeleton's joints. After endless swings and clashes Bryan finally fell to his knees. His death was not in complete vain though. The skeletons right arm was severed at the elbow.
As he fell the now one armed assasin turned back. The remaining deputies had run back to the city. With no enemies in sight it dashed toward the gates.
