Chapter 7 - 6. Name

After days of experimentation, Cockroach finally found the exit of the Fragment Labyrinth. The last fragment to touch was in an open space, reflecting a soft glow of energy. The Guardians waited, more numerous and aggressive, but their rhythm had begun to be predictable.

"This is it… one more step… I must be precise," thought Cockroach, antennae trembling, reading the energy vibrations.

With patience, it touched the final fragment, feeling a flow of energy unlike anything before. The Guardians paused momentarily, as if acknowledging its success. The space around it trembled, and an unfamiliar voice resonated, gentle yet demanding attention.

> "Little creature that has passed the Fragment Labyrinth… now you are worthy of a name," the voice echoed.

"A name…?" thought Cockroach, antennae standing on end.

The energy from the final fragment enveloped it, and a name emerged from the world's vibrations: "Vekrath." A name strange, ambiguous, yet meaningful: "observer and master of fragments," symbolizing the beginning of its transformation from a small creature into something far greater.

"Vekrath… this name… I… I must remember it," it whispered.

New fragments appeared in the open space, more complex and interacting with each other. Cockroach now not only controlled part of the fragment energy, but also began understanding the deeper rules of this world. The Guardians still watched, but now Cockroach had a new identity and a more refined strategy.

"These fragments… each one teaches something. I must understand them all if I want to become more than just this little creature," it thought, eyes glowing with ambition.
