Kenji was puzzled. He tentatively opened one of the small boxes.
The moment he lifted the lid and saw the contents, Kenji's mind momentarily crashed. What followed was a wave of pure ecstasy.
"A Mega Ring??!?"
Kenji gasped, unable to keep his voice down.
Inside the box, a white bangle rested quietly. Embedded on top was a crystal clear jewel with a rainbow, dream-like sheen. In the center of the jewel was a black, DNA spiral pattern.
The Key Stone—the key to unlocking the hidden super-power within a Pokémon's genetic code and triggering Mega Evolution!!
Director He remained smiling, seemingly having anticipated Kenji's reaction.
If that box held the Mega Ring, then the other box...
Kenji's hands trembled slightly as he slowly opened the second box.
