I woke up because of my kuya. Because he was shaking me to wake up and go to school .
I softly said "Good morning kuya"😊😊
Kuya Jack softly said "Good morning baby girl get ready for school and come for breakfast and I will drop you School".
I said "okay". After that kuya went downstairs. I took a shower and wore my uniform, brushed my hair and went downstairs. I sat on the dining table. Maid served me breakfast. I ate only 3 omlet 🍳, 5 pancakes 🥞, 4 sausages. hehee less na. Kuya Jack also finishes breakfast after that me and Kuya sit in the car. He started driving.
Kuya asks "Jay do you remember the face of the murderer ".
I said "no kuya I tried my best but kuya I have suspected on someone"
Kuya said "who"
I said "actually kuya you know keifer his father"
Flashback
I woke up feeling oddly good for no clear reason. I felt like singing...
"Good morning to you all..." I sang while taking a shower.
Yuck! That doesn't suit me. Why am I suddenly acting all sweet and girly? Gross!
As soon as I got out of the bathroom, I was greeted by Ci-N's serious face while he stared at his phone. he took a bath before me, so he was already dressed. Meanwhile, I was rushing to get ready.
"Let's go to school late today," he suddenly said, which confused me.
"Huh? W-Why?"he didn't reply.
Weird.
I grabbed my own phone, hoping for a message. But there was nothing. Not even one. No message from the jerks. Not even from Yuri. And nothing from the king.
What's going on? I usually get at least one good morning message. But now... nothing?
I just put down my phone and started getting ready.
"What time are we going to school?" I asked Ci.
he didn't answer, so I was about to walk closer when someone knocked on the door. One of Tita's maids came in.
"Miss Jay... You're being called downstairs. Someone wants to talk to you."
Ci-N and I exchanged glances. She was still holding her phone.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"They didn't say. Sir Angelo just said to call you down."
I nodded at the maid, still puzzled. Ci and I grabbed our bags and left the room. We headed to the living room thinking they were there, but no one was around.
Where are they?
Just then, Aries arrived, looking like he was searching for someone.
"Where's Mom?" he asked me.
I shook my head. "I'm looking for her too."
He went straight to the kitchen but came back quickly It seemed like no one was there either.
"Jay... There's someone outside," Ci said, pointing to the gate.
Aries was the first to step out, and we followed. It looked like Ci was right. Kuya Angelo and Tita Gema were also there.
There were black cars, and bodyguard
"Tita..." I called.
She looked at me and quickly shielded me behind her. What's going on? Even Aries looked confused.
"Are you Jasper Jean Mariano, Ci-N Peralta, and Michael Aries Fernandez?" one of the men in black asked, holding a paper.
Ci-N and I exchanged glances. She subtly gestured for me not to say anything. I understood.we didn't know who these people were.
"Yes! That's us! Why?" Aries blurted out.
Crap!
This guy really doesn't think sometimes. He's too love struck with Ella.
"The Watson Family has summoned you" the man said.
Then another guy opened the car door.Aries' eyes widened when he saw Ella inside.
"Aries!" Ella called, obviously scared.
She was about to get out of the car, but a man blocked her. I glanced at the other car window, which was slowly rolling down.
Inside were Eman, Denzel, and Felix.
The other cars probably had the rest of the jerks.
"What does the Watson Family want with them?" Kuya Angelo asked.
The Watson Family?
That's Keifer's family... But why?
"We've been strictly instructed not to give any information."
"How can we be sure you won't harm them?" Tita asked bravely.
"The Watson's are prominent people. Any scandal linked to their name is unacceptable."
Why does it feel like Keifer's family is super powerful?
Tita looked at me. Before Kuya could even speak, Aries had already walked over to the car and sat beside Ella.
"We'll be okay, Tita," I said with a reassuring smile.
Kuya and Tita let us approach the car. Ci-N and I got in. I couldn't shake the fear I felt or the growing questions about Keifer.
We were all together in the car. The other vehicles followed. It was quiet, and Ci-N and I kept exchanging looks.
What is going on?
I stared out the window. The scenery was familiar at first, but the farther we went, the more unfamiliar it became. It felt like we were already outside the city.
"W-Where do you think we're going?" Ella asked. I wondered the same thing. For the first time, we agreed on something.
"To Keifer's real house," Aries answered seriously.
What, the one they live in now is fake? Is this like a clothing brand with real and fake versions?
How does he even know we're going there?
I guess it makes sense-they used to be close. Maybe he's been there before.
I didn't know how long we'd been driving.
We were texting the others, and I was right -they were in the cars behind us.
"We've been driving for two hours," Ci-N said, looking at her watch.
Where are we going, the Earth's core? Honestly, I need to pee.
Fortunately, it was like the heavens heard me. The car slowed down as we turned a corner surrounded by trees. The area was heavily shaded, with lots of fallen leaves.
"This is it..." Aries whispered.
This is what?
Ci-N suddenly pressed against the window, almost falling on me.
I looked too. There was a huge house. We were still far, but it was massive. Hidden behind a hill, that's why I didn't see it earlier. But once we turned the corner, parts of it came into view.
"I've seen this in pictures before! Keifer's mansion is really beautiful!" Ci-N added.
I am amazed. Keifer's house is house so big. I didn't know I also have mansions but not this large.
The entire area around the house was filled with trees and incredibly wide open spaces. I couldn't even see the boundaries.
The closer we got, the bigger the house seemed. A tunnel eventually blocked our view.
We lost sight of the mansion. The car stopped in front of a massive gate.
"We're here," the driver said.
Still, no one moved until we saw Calix and others walking toward a man standing near the parked cars.
We were forced to get out and walk after them. We clustered together and whispered among ourselves.
"What is even going on?" I asked.
"I don't know either... Did you see Keifer?" Edrix asked me. I shook my head. I looked around. Damn! The place was huge, and I could see the sea from here.
We stood there for a while until the huge door opened. It's official-no human lives here. Even the doors are huge!
Then out walked a... handsome man! Is he an actor? He looked like he was in his 40s or maybe younger. And he looked a lot like.
"Keifer's dad," Ci-N said.
I glanced between her and the man.
Really?!
Not that I'm saying Keifer is ugly, but like... there's just something... I don't know. Okay, fine! He's really handsome, and he looks too young to be a dad.
I think I have a crush on him!
He walked toward us, smiling. I admit he had a strong presence.
"Good morning," he greeted us. "Are we all complete?"
I looked at my friends. Speaking of complete, Yuri and Keifer weren't here.
One of the men in black whispered something to him. They talked for a bit.
"What are we doing here?" I asked Ci-N.
"I don't really know... The truth is, Keifer texted me. He said not to let you go out, and I think this is why," he explained. So that's why he told me we should go in late.
"Mr. Watson..." Aries called.
We all looked at him. Are they close?
"Can you tell us what you need from us?"
There! Finally, someone asked. This horoscope boy's actually useful!
Keifer's dad chuckled. "You haven't changed. Still impatient." He looked at all of us. "I just want to have a lunch date with my son's friends."
My heart fluttered. He looked straight at me when he said "lunch date."
Is he asking me out on a date?
Before anyone could respond, we heard loud car engines. They sounded like they were racing.
"He's here," Keifer's dad said and stepped right into the middle-literally in the middle -where the car would pass.
The cars approached fast-two of them. I recognized them.
One was Yuri's, and the other... Keifer's. They were practically racing.
Yuri's car turned to park, but Keifer's car sped straight toward-
OH MY GOD!
Is he going to run over his dad?!Just a few inches!
Just a few inches between Keifer's car and his dad. I thought he was really going to run him over, but he suddenly hit the brakes. My heart almost stopped. I nearly died from shock. Damn it!
Keifer stepped out of his car and glared at his dad.
"You're blocking my driveway!" he said. His dad didn't answer. He just smiled and walked back into the house. Weird. He didn't even look scared.
Then I saw Yuri walking towards us, looking very serious-especially when he saw Aries and Ella.
"Why did your dad pick us up?" Felix asked Keifer. But Keifer didn't answer. He just walked straight into that huge mansion through its rich-people doors.
I looked at Yuri, hoping he'd say something, but he just followed Keifer.
"What's going on?" I asked.
Since it was obvious no one could answer, we all just stood there in silence.
A few minutes passed, then Aries suddenly walked into the house, followed by Ella.
Wow! So comfy already?
"What was that?!" Eren asked.
"Nothing's gonna happen if we just stand here! Let's go!" Rory said, immediately heading inside the house.
Since no one really knew what to do, we followed. As soon as we stepped in, my shoes got shy at how shiny the floor was.
Sia once talked about a chandelier... This one's even bigger than the one in Yuri's hotel. Damn! I wouldn't just swing on it-I'd sleep on it too.
Where Keifer lives is nothing compared to this mansion. The President of the Philippines might as well live here.
"Good morning," greeted a woman in a maid's uniform. I suddenly felt small. I looked more like the maid than she did. Her skin was flawless and her uniform was spotless. Mine looked like it ran away from the iron.
"Please follow me," she said and started walking.
Eren went ahead. Of course-there's a girl!
While walking, I kept looking around. The paintings on the wall were huge-probably the size of my bed.
She opened a door and gestured for us to go inside. We walked in single file. It felt like a field trip.
Nice, nice!
We were greeted by two sets of sofas. This must be the receiving area. The guys immediately flopped onto the couches like they owned them. Others just looked around.
Someone tapped me. I looked-it was just Ci-N. She leaned in and whispered,
"Come with me... I need to pee." Thank God he said that! I've been dying to pee too. I nodded and we walked out.
"Where do you think the bathroom is?" I asked. Ci-N didn't answer and just walked away. Even though I was confused, I followed him.
We went all over the place. We passed at least four maids, but Ci didn't even talk to a single one.
I felt like we were getting lost.
Then she suddenly climbed the stairs to the second floor. Damn! Even the staircase is rich-looking. What would Sia call this-Stairway to Heaven?
"Hey, Ci!" I called. "Where are we going? I thought we were going to the bathroom?" he didn't answer and just kept walking. I had a feeling this wasn't about peeing anymore.
We entered another hallway. I was starting to get annoyed at this brat. Then he stopped in front of a door.
He knocked and listened. Then he looked at me and motioned for me to come over.
"Why?" I asked as I walked toward him.
He slightly opened the door. "Go inside," he ordered.
I didn't want to, but then I heard a familiar voice inside. I stepped in and saw Keifer, Yuri, Keigan, and Keiren having a serious conversation.
So Keigan's here too?
"What's going on?" I whispered.
Yuri was the first to notice me. "Jay..." he said.
I slowly walked toward them.
"What's happening?" I asked.
"We need your cooperation here," Keifer said.
I pointed at myself, confused.
"Dad is up to something. He wouldn't ask me to come here for nothing," Keigan said.
I stayed quiet and waited for them to explain further.
"We don't know exactly what, but one thing's certain," Yuri said, looking at Keiren. "...Keiren's his target, and he might use all of us."
I looked at Keiren. He looked so weak, like he was sick.He was looking terrified.
"I'm begging you, Jay... if things go wrong, please run away with Keiren. Keigan will help you escape," Keifer said.
"You want me to leave you all?" I asked.
Yuri looked away. Keifer did too.
"Don't worry, Jay... They won't hurt your friends and classmates. But I can't promise they won't hurt Kuya," Keigan said.
Wow! Thanks for the comfort, Keigan. Leave them all if chaos breaks out? That doesn't sound right.
"Please do what I said. Don't think about anything else," Keifer said with authority.
I didn't want to. That's not like me. But I looked at Keiren. He looked so pitiful.
"Okay... I'll do it."
"Great! You know what to do, Keigan!"
Keifer said, looking at his brother. Keigan just nodded and started walking toward the door. The meeting was over.
As Keifer passed by me, I grabbed the edge of his shirt. He looked at me, confused.
"Where's your bathroom?" I asked.
He looked at Keigan and Yuri. He signaled for them to go ahead. Then he pointed at a door behind me. I ran toward it. I couldn't hold it anymore. My bladder was about to explode.
Inside, I was embarrassed to even sit on their toilet-it was so shiny! But I couldn't hold back anymore.
When I got out, the room was empty. Keifer probably got tired of waiting. I was about to leave when someone suddenly hugged me from behind.I know who this is.

"Ssshhh..." he said. "..I fucking miss you."
Wait a second!
"I've just been really busy. That's why I didn't pick your calls.But after this, I swear I'll make it up to you."😔😔
W-what is this?! H-hold on!

How am I supposed to talk? I froze on the spot. He's hugging me! Wow!
"K-Keifer..." I called him.
He suddenly buried his face in my shoulder. He didn't say anything, but I could feel his hug tightening every now and then.I can feel that he wants to cry. Can't this man show his emotions. Always pretend to be fine.
I understand now.
He didn't just hug me because he missed me. He needed someone to lean on right now.I know he never had someone to care for him. I know. You can trust me keifer I am always with you.
Even if he didn't say a word I could feel how much he was struggling. Just wait for sometime I will not let you endure all your problems alone. I am with you meet even if you will hurt me. 😔😔
I held his arm.
"Ssshhh..." I began. "I missed you too."Keifer don't ever I am not with you I am always with you. 🥺🥺
I felt him lift his head slightly.I cupped his cheeks.
"Don't think about that. There's still plenty of time to make up for it. Focus on what you need to do now," I said and tapped his head.
He rested his head on my shoulder.
"Thank you..." he whispered. "...Thank you for being here."
I couldn't help but smile at what he said. It felt so light and warm.😊😮💨
He let go of the hug. "Let's go," he said and walked to the door.
What? No kiss?
Pfft... I thought he missed me. I was expecting something more.
I followed him. He was about to open the door when he suddenly stopped.
"Before we go..." he said, then suddenly kissed me on the lips. I kissed back. My heart is beating so fast that I can't tell. ❤😳😘
Beeep!
He opened the door and walked out. I saw Ci-N leaning against the wall, playing on his phone.
"Hey!" I called. "..Let's go!"
"What did you talk about?" he asked me.
"Nothing..." I replied and started walking. he immediately followed.
"Come on, tell me... What was it about?" he pressed.
"Whatever..."
"If you don't tell me, I'll tell Keifer you already have a boyfriend," he threatened.
I laughed. If only he knew...
But my laughter died when I saw Yuri. Crap! Did he hear what Ci-N said?
"What are you talking about?" he asked us.
"U-uh... N-"
"There's no hope for you and Keifer anymore! Jay-jay already has a boyfriend!" Ci-N suddenly blurted out.
Damn it!
"Boyfriend?" Yuri asked, confused, and looked at me.
I signaled to him, "That's nothing!" I didn't want Ci-N to say anything more.
"Yup! So-mmmpphh! hmmm!" I quickly covered his mouth.
"Hahaha... he's just super drunk on his own jokes!" I said awkwardly.
Yuri just smiled at me and nodded before walking away. I let go of Ci-N and glared at him.
"Your hand stinks!" he complained.
What the hell!
I smelled my hand. All I could smell was the alcohol I used earlier.
"Come on! It's lunchtime!" he said and quickly walked off.
Nice! Food time!Food food I want to eat food.
Seriously?! Is this a lunch date or a fiesta? Just a simple lunch or a grand celebration? So much food. Super extravagant! Feels like I'm attending a birthday or a christening. The food is all laid out on the side.
Of course, since we're all naturally gluttons, here we are in line. Yes, I'm included. I'm a glutton too. Who wouldn't get hungry with this?

Out of everything oily and greasy, this one is the most tempting.These jerks are taking forever to get their food. It's like they're hoarding everything.
"There's ice cream!" Ci-n said, clapping.
"Eat rice first... You might get an upset stomach if you eat ice cream right away."
"But I want ice cream," he insisted, pouting.
"Ugh, whatever! Suit yourself."
I just let him be. We finally made it to victory. Grabbed food here and there. We had to make it fit on our plates.
Once we got our food, we headed straight to the table. We were seated close to Keifer's group, so we could hear their conversation. I was told to stay near Keigan anyway.
While I was happily eating, there they were, deep in serious talk. Keifer's vibe alone felt heavy. Add Yuri and Keifer's dad to the mix. What I didn't get was why Aries was at their table too-with Ella.
Wow, okay!
"How's school? Are you studying well?" their dad asked Keifer.
"My studies are none of your business," the prince bluntly replied.
"Come on, Keifer. I'm still your dad. I still have responsibilities for you and your brother."
"Bullshit," Keifer said, annoyed.
"Language, my son. You're still in my house," his dad said authoritatively.
Damn! Intense!
I felt like I was watching a movie, just waiting for the big showdown. All that was missing was someone pulling out a gun.
Keifer's dad looked over at Aries and Yuri.
"Look at you. You used to come here just to pick up Keifer. Too bad someone's missing now," he said, smiling.
So he knew Percy too. It's true! Aries did come here before. That's why he seemed so familiar.Percy is my cousin so is aries.
"You're Ella, right?" he said to her. "Last time I saw you, you were with Keifer. But now, it looks like you're with someone else."
Ella visibly felt awkward. Aries quickly grabbed her hand. I couldn't blame her. She was surrounded by her past.
Then suddenly, Keifer's dad looked at me. I nearly choked. It was so sudden!
"Only rose among the thorns?" he asked me.
Excuse me?!
"What is your name? You're new to me."
I looked over at Keifer and the others, who were also watching me. As if they were silently warning me to be careful with what I said.
"Jasper Jean Mariano, sir.Just call me Jay-jay," I said calmly. I don't afraid of him. Why would I.
He was silent for a moment, thinking, but his attention stayed on me.
"I know a few Mariano's in the business industry. What are your parents names?" he asked again.
"Those are none of your business," Keifer cut in quickly.
Good thing he did. I didn't want to say their names.
"It's just a name. Nothing wrong with asking," he said, looking back at me. "Do you mind telling me their names?"
Holy sh*t!
"James Mariano is my dad and Isabella olivia Mariano is my mother"I said. His smirk vanished as soon as I said it. He is looking like a ghost. The room is dead silent.
"Sir sir what happened"I said he shook his head and it looked like he came back to reality. He froze when I said my parents name. 🧐🧐Everyone was confused why did he froze. 🤔🤔
"Nothing. Your parents have children.I remember that how could this be possible?"He hesitated and said .
"Actually they always hide us and never let anyone know about us. I also have a brother but how did you know my parents"I said
"Actually I was an investor of their company years ago that's why but do you know how your parents died"He said.
"Yes I know but This is our family matter so please" I seriously said .
"Ok you don't want to tell them then don't let's just eat"He said.
Flashback ended
I told him everything but I didn't tell about the gun thing because he might be worried and get angry at me.
Kuya said "ohh so many things happened and you didn't tell me".I think I should tell him about Keifer.
I said "kuya there is one more thing I need to tell actually I like Keifer"😳😳I looked towards window.
He said while grinning"I knew there was something when he said we are more than best friends"😀
I nervously said "so you are accepting us? ".he agreed.
I exclaimed "yayyyyy!!! Thank you kuya. You are the best" I kissed his cheek. 🥳🥳😆
