Chapter 215 - Chapter 215 Tonight, I'll Teach You

I've never unbuckled a man's belt before. Even the only time with Lu Shiyan, we were drunk and he was the one who took charge, so I don't remember much.

My fingers trembled slightly as they touched the cold buckle.

Then, warmth spread across the back of my hand, and Lu Yanchen's eyes gazed at me tenderly. "Wanwan, it's not even dark yet. Dinner's almost time."

My face flushed even more. Why did I sound so impatient?

I was simply so moved by what he said that I wanted to do something in return.

Lu Yanchen seemed to read my mind. "Wanwan, I'm doing all this willingly. You don't have to worry about anything. I want your sincerity, not an impulsive decision driven by emotion."

"But..." I stammered, unsure what to say. He reached up and touched my head. "Wanwan, I've waited all these years. Do you think I don't even have this little patience? I don't want gratitude, but your willingness to give yourself completely to me."

My foggy mind gradually cleared up with his words. Lu Yanchen wasn't Lu Shiyan, irresponsible.

This was what it meant to truly love someone. Beyond just love, there was even more respect.

I was even more moved and embraced him. "Thank you, Ayan."

"No, it should be me thanking you."

Lu Yanchen tightened his arm around my waist. "Thank you for choosing me this time."

We hugged each other tightly. "Ayan, I will definitely fall in love with you. I will."

"Yes, I believe that day will come soon."

A servant knocked on the door. "Miss, your son-in-law is ready for dinner."

"Okay, I'll be right there," I replied.

Looking down, I saw that I had wrinkled Lu Yanchen's shirt, even undone two buttons. His thin lips shone slightly, and against his wheelchair, they possessed a fragile, ascetic beauty that stirred a tinge of sinister intent.

I buttoned his shirt back up for him and withdrew my gaze.

I whispered in his ear, "So, can we do something tonight? I want to slowly get used to it."

I saw a darker glint in his pupils, and his voice grew hoarse. "I'll teach you tonight."

My heart was still pounding as I left.

In the living room, Mom stared at my mouth meaningfully.

"Mom, are you feeling better?"

"Yeah," Mom nodded. "Don't worry, I'll keep these two children. Wanwan, you must help me get a divorce."

She had made up her mind. She had already let Uncle Rong down in the first half of her life, and she didn't want to live like this for the rest. "Don't worry, Mom. I'll definitely help you get a divorce. If he doesn't agree, we can go through the divorce process. He's raising a child outside, and the law will be on your side! It's just a little more complicated, but we'll definitely get a divorce."

After I said this, I heard an unfamiliar male voice behind me: "Want a divorce? Dream on!"

I turned and looked at the elderly man who had appeared in the entrance. I recognized him as the grandfather who had been so determined to climb into the Jiang family that he'd even sold his daughter.

I didn't expect Jiang Qing to actually invite him here.

The moment Mom saw him, an instinctive fear filled her eyes. "Dad, why are you here?"

"If I hadn't come, you'd have been furious!"

A few more people came in, including a middle-aged couple. I should have called my uncle and aunt. My aunt, clutching a box of bird's nest, said, "Lanlan, we heard you were pregnant, so we came to see you."

My eldest uncle couldn't contain his joy. "You're so lucky, girl! If you give birth to a son for the Jiang family, there won't be a place for the mistress and her daughter. Sister, the fate of the Xu family rests in your hands."

My younger uncle appeared out of nowhere. "Sister, my brother-in-law said that if you give birth to a child, he'll give us that project at the dock. If it's a son, he'll give us another ten million!"

As soon as they entered, they chatted animatedly. Their faces reminded me of bandits and robbers.

They'd discovered a treasure and were now contemplating how to divide the spoils. There was no trace of family affection; it was disgusting to watch!

"Sister, if only you were pregnant with twins. Wouldn't the reward be doubled?"

"Yes, sister. Have you checked to see if it's a single or twins?"

My mother's face grew increasingly grim, and I finally understood.

My mother grew up in a family that favored sons over daughters. From the beginning, the Xu family had raised her to sell her for money. If Jiang Qing wasn't there, someone else would have. She's the Xu family's vampire, the brother-supporting demon.

What "eldest daughter"? Her life isn't much better than Jiang Wanwan's.

Living in a family like this, it's no wonder Jiang Wanwan suffocated and committed suicide.

Everyone came, except Grandma.

The old man was just using Grandma to threaten Mom!

Is this still family? They're just a bunch of vampires.

"Does the fact that they have twins or a single baby have anything to do with you?" I glared coldly at my so-called aunt.

A hint of surprise crossed my aunt's face when she saw me. Perhaps Jiang Wanwan always appeared in black before, and they didn't recognize her in her new outfit today. "Wanwan, I heard you got married. Girls really change a lot when they grow up, and they get more and more beautiful! You're wrong. We're a family. How could your mother's pregnancy not matter?"

"The only thing that matters is your own interests. From the moment you came into our family, have you ever cared about Mom? All you talk about is money and profit."

Grandpa glared at me. "Shut up! The elders are talking, so how can a girl like you have the right to speak here? By the way, aren't you married? Why are you still clinging to your parents' house?"

Lu Yanchen's voice came out slowly: "Since you've acknowledged that she's part of my Lu family, it's not your turn to teach her a lesson!"

No matter what, Lu Yanchen always gave me a sense of security.

Unexpectedly, the old man was as excited as a dung beetle seeing a dung ball when he saw Lu Yanchen. "You're Lu Yanchen. It's just perfect. I heard you had a flash marriage. Our Xu family doesn't play the same tricks you young people do. I understand that you, the Lu family, just had a funeral and didn't have a wedding, but you shouldn't be refusing to pay the betrothal gift, right?"

My hair stood on end when I heard that.

This old man sucked my mom and now he's trying to suck me!

Lu Yanchen said indifferently, "So what does Mr. Xu mean..."

"At least the basic betrothal gift has to be 100 million. Wanwan is the only child of the Jiang family, and there are cars, houses, stocks, and jewelry—all of it is essential!"

I said coldly, "How can 100 million be enough? We'll have to ask for at least 10 or 100 million, right?"

"Wanwan, I'm glad you think that way."

"My aunt also thinks 100 million is too little. The Lu family is a century-old, wealthy family. They shouldn't be so stingy!"

"I also heard Mr. Lu is doing very well abroad. He wouldn't be so stingy as to give even 1 billion, would he?"

A group of people rushed forward, their faces covered with disgusting smiles. I snorted coldly, "Alright, when you die, I'll burn not only 1 billion, but 100 billion, 100 billion, and 100 billion for you!"
