Chapter 167 - Chapter 167: Who Buried the Person?

My neck felt hot, and when I realized what my uncle was doing, my whole body went rigid.

His strength was much greater than Lu Shiyan's, and my neck stung slightly.

I couldn't help but clench the smooth fabric of his clothes, calling softly, "Yanchen..."

He finally released me, his fingertips skimming the spot where he'd left his mark with satisfaction.

"You're so delicate! If I really touch you next time..."

My face flushed deeply as he said this. "Yanchen!"

"Why are you so embarrassed? Hasn't anyone ever done this to you before?" Lu Yanchen gently pinched my cheek.

He must be talking about Fu Xici. Jiang Wanwan and Fu Xici certainly didn't have anything going on.

When we were students, the most Lu Shiyan and I did was hug; kissing was rare. He remained a gentleman at the time, saying he'd save touching me for marriage.

He never did anything like leaving marks on me.

I shook my head. "No."

I don't know if it was my imagination, but a flicker of delight seemed to cross my uncle's eyes. But that glimmer of joy was quickly eclipsed by him.

"It's getting late, let's go to bed."

I instinctively tried to get up, but Lu Yanchen held me down again.

"Just sleep here. We're married. Don't worry, I won't do anything to you without your permission."

I instinctively refused: "I... I'm not used to sleeping together."

I always felt like my relationship with my uncle was progressing too quickly. Something as intimate as sleeping together was something I always thought only someone I loved could share a bed with.

He released my waist. "Okay, I won't force you."

"Thank you."

I quickly returned to my cubicle, breathing in the tranquil aromatherapy, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

That night, I had a blushing, heart-pounding dream.

Even more terrifying was that the person's face had transformed into Lu Yanchen. In the dream, he had lost his usual gentle demeanor and became rude and overbearing.

I could only call him over and over again: "Uncle..."

My fingers were clasped tightly, and a familiar voice echoed in my ears.

Daybreak. When I woke up, I couldn't remember exactly what I'd dreamed about, only that it was incredibly erotic.

I was about to get up and change when my face flushed with embarrassment.

How intense had that dream been!

Even the sight of my uncle's handsome face made me blush subconsciously.

Could it be that I haven't had a man in too long?

Lu Yanchen remained calm as always. "Are you awake? Get ready. We're going to the Fu family for dinner today."

"Okay."

That day, I felt incredibly awkward around Lu Yanchen. I couldn't even meet his gaze, afraid he'd see through my filthy inner self.

The Fu family had specially hosted a banquet for the Su and Lu families today.

Mrs. Fu's opinion of Su Ning'an had changed somewhat. "I heard you signed up for this international art competition. I didn't expect you to be an S."

It turned out my painting was the reason for this change of heart. Su Ning'an really knows how to flatter himself. Mrs. Su proudly said, "Yes, my daughter An'an's teachers have always said she's talented. She just used to be too low-key. If her style hadn't been recognized at the last exhibition, she wouldn't have admitted she was S."

Mrs. Fu took Su Ning'an's hand and said, "It seems I was wrong about you earlier. Being too low-key isn't a good thing. You should be more outspoken when you can. This time, you must bring honor to our Fu family."

My daughter-in-law, who had previously been reluctant to acknowledge her, quickly became a member of the Fu family once she saw the title of a talented painter.

Su Ning'an said quietly, "Yes, I'll do my best."

Seeing my gaze land on Su Ning'an's face, Mrs. Su stepped in front of her, protectively guarding her child. "What are you looking at? What? Are you jealous of my daughter?"

I just found it ridiculous: "I'm jealous of her?"

"Do you know how many fans my daughter has? So many businesses have been trying to get her started these past few days. Even if she lost face in the industry a few days ago, her own talent will soon overshadow her. It's the scheming people who think they're setting traps for others, but in the end, they don't even know who they're burying."

Hearing Mrs. Su's sarcasm, I curled my lips and smiled. "I'm also curious about who's being buried in this art competition."
