Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: From Now On, You'll Have to Call Me Aunt

Over the years, I spent a long time with Lu Shiyan. He occupied more of my life than even my parents, which is why my obsession kept me by his side after death.

I was all too familiar with his voice.

In the past, how could I have imagined we would end up like this one day, to the point where just hearing his voice makes me wish I could devour his flesh and drink his blood.

In the deep winter, before 8 a.m., the sky was still hazy, not fully bright.

The streetlights on both sides hadn't turned off yet, casting a soft, yellowish light under which snowflakes gently fell.

The snow on the road hadn't been cleared yet. As Lu Shiyan approached, I clearly heard the crunch, crunch sound of his shoes stepping on the snow.

Feeling his footsteps getting closer, I forcibly suppressed the hatred in my heart.

I silently told myself not to rush; there was plenty of time. I couldn't afford to slip up now.

I had gained a new life, but that didn't mean I had an indestructible body.

Knowing how vicious Su Ning'an was, my priority was to protect my identity. My rebirth must not be discovered by anyone, so I could find the best opportunity for revenge.

"Uncle, this lady is..."

Lu Shiyan's voice sounded behind me. Perhaps he also found it strange. Lu Yanchen was famously indifferent to women, yet today there was a woman by his side.

I was prepared. After all, whether we met sooner or later, it was inevitable.

Fortunately, Mom had specially dressed me up before I left home today. Jiang Wanwan's face was younger and more beautiful than my original one.

Especially the red cinnabar dot between my eyebrows, against the snowy backdrop, made me appear ethereally stunning.

I turned around gracefully, a faint smile playing on my lips as I looked at him. "Hello, Young Master Lu."

Lu Shiyan had just completed his discharge procedures. He seemed in good spirits, probably having believed Su Ning'an's words again, his guilt and remorse towards me vanished.

The moment his gaze fell on my face, I clearly saw his stunned expression. He uncontrollably took two steps back.

Pointing at my face, he said with horror, "She... she is..."

If not for the mole between my eyebrows, Jiang Wanwan's face was just too similar. Only about twenty percent different, creating an illusion of being me yet not me.

Lu Yanchen turned his wheelchair around, his face devoid of any smile, and said flatly, "Miss Jiang."

Lu Shiyan also realized my identity, a clear flash of cold and cold passing through his eyes.

Right, the Lu father and son never wanted Lu Yanchen to form a marriage alliance with a wealthy heiress; it would be another significant advantage for him.

Lu Yanchen probably still had his white moonlight in mind, hence his cold attitude towards me.

But the moment I saw Lu Shiyan, my fighting spirit ignited.

With a smile on my lips, I said generous, "You must be Young Master Lu. I am Jiang Wanwan, Yanchen's fiancée. In terms of seniority, from now on, you'll have to call me Aunt, right?"

Lu Yanchen frowned, clearly displeased with my statement.

Lu Shiyan kept staring at my face, lost in thought, unsure how much of my words he actually processed.

Even I was surprised by this face, let alone him.

"Young Lu, Yanchen and I need to go get our marriage certificate now. We'll have to excuse ourselves first."

I gave him a slight smile and was about to turn away when Lu Shiyan finally snapped back to reality, a look of disbelief flashing across his face. "What did you say?"

"The marriage certificate."

I took Lu Yanchen's hand, my eyes filled with infinite affection, my voice soft and delicate. "Brother Yanchen, why don't you say something?"

Lu Yanchen was startled by my sudden intimacy. He instinctively tried to withdraw his hand, but how could I let him have his way?

I held his hand tightly, not letting him pull away.

To others, this scene looked extremely delicate.

Upon hearing about the marriage certificate, Lu Shiyan became visibly flustered. "Uncle, are you really going to get the certificate with Miss Jiang? Don't you like..."

Like what?

Before he could finish, Lu Yanchen coldly interrupted, "Yes, we are getting the certificate today. Lu Shiyan, from now on, Wanwan will be your Aunt."

This confirmed my status. The smile on my lips widened a bit more.

But Lu Shiyan's face changed dramatically, filled with disbelief. "What did you call her? Wanwan?"

I took a step forward, staring directly into Lu Shiyan's eyes, and said word by word, "That's not right. It's not 'Wanwan', it's 'Wanwan', as in the bay of a bay."
