Zara and Zoya are standing outside the school gate.
Zoya (frowning while checking her phone):
"Ugh, why isn't Dad picking up the call?"
Zara (calmly):
"He must be busy."
Just then, Zayan approaches with his usual soft smile.
Zayan:
"Hey girls, waiting for your ride?"
Zara:
"Yeah..."
Zoya (rolling her eyes):
"Not again. Dad just texted—he's stuck and told us to go home on our own."
Zara:
"Oh, that's just great..."
Zayan (smiling gently):
"If you don't mind, I can drop you both home."
Zara (hesitating):
"Ah… thank you, but—"
Zayan (cutting her off):
"Come on, don't be formal. We're not strangers anymore."
Zoya (teasing with a grin):
"Yeah, you're basically my brother-in-law now."
Both Zara and Zayan blush slightly.
Zoya (sighing dramatically):
"But wait—what about your annoying brother?"
Zayan:
"Don't worry. He's going with Ali today."
Zayan gently extends his hand toward Zara.
Zayan:
"So, shall we go, ma'am?"
Zara smiles and places her hand in his.
Zoya (grinning as she follows):
"Hey! Wait for me!"

Scene: Ali's House – Drawing Room
Ali is sitting calmly in the drawing room, reviewing some documents. The atmosphere is quiet until Sara walks in, holding a cup of coffee.
Sara (lightly teasing):
"Here's your coffee, sir."
Ali (smiling faintly as he takes it):
"Thank you."
Sara sits beside him, noticing the papers in his hand.
Sara:
"Where's Wali? I thought he was with you."
Ali (without looking up):
"He left. Said he had some work to do."
Sara (a little surprised):
Work? Or something he is cooking again?
Ali (narrow eye): what do mean?
Sara: I don't know but he is talking about exposing the truth. And I think it's related to Zayan and Zara.
Ali ( confused face): Zayan and zara?
Sara: yeah do you notice how wali's glancing at them.
Ali: You are right. Is there something that's wali hiding?
Sara: Strange , He didn't tell you. I think your friend is getting changed.
Ali nodding his head
She leans forward, glancing at the documents.
Sara:
"Are those the documents uncle sent?"
Ali (with a small sigh):
"Yeah… property papers. It's official now. I'm the new owner of Dad's company and the house."
Sara (softly, with a smile):
"That's great… finally, a piece of good news after so long."
She pauses, then adds with a thoughtful tone.
Sara:
"But… does that mean we're moving?"
Ali:
"Yes. After the exams or maybe once the results are out, we'll have to leave and move there."
Sara: Good, Finally we will be able to take over our dad's things.
Ali: Yes,we will.
Scene – Inside Zayan's Car
Zayan is seated in the front while Zara and Zoya are in the back seat.
Zayan (glancing at them through the mirror):
"So... would it be totally crazy if we went somewhere to hang out?"
Zoya (grinning):
"Hmm, actually, that's a wonderful idea."
Zara (hesitant):
"But... what about Auntie Ayesha?"
Zoya (confident):
"Don't worry about her. I'll manage it."
Zayan (smiling):
"Perfect."
Zara:
"But Zoya, you know Uncle might get upset if he finds out."
Zayan:
"Zara, take a deep breath. You've got the Queen with you — let her handle it."
Zoya (playfully flipping her hair):
"Well, thank you. Good choice, sis."
Zoya quickly dials her mom.
Zoya:
"Hello, Mom!"
Mom:
"Hello! Where have you been?"
Zoya:
"Actually, Mom, you know our exams are coming soon. So we all friends decided to go out and hang out together... just to get a little break."
Mom:
"Really? People study before exams, Zoya, not plan hangouts."
Zoya (in her sweetest tone):
"Please, Mom? Let us enjoy a little. After exams, everyone's going in different directions... it might be our last day out together."
Mom (sighs):
"Okay, okay. You can go. But don't be late."
Zoya:
"Thank you! You're the best! Love you, bye!"
Mom:
"Bye-bye."
Zoya hangs up. Zara and Zayan look at her with hopeful eyes.
Zoya (grinning):
"Mission complete."
Zayan:
"Well done, girl. So... where are we headed?"
Zara (excited):
"A new Park beachside!"
Zoya:
"Yeah! It's so peaceful and beautiful."
Zayan:
"Alright then, . Let's go."
Scene – Park, Beachside
Zayan and Zara sit on the soft sand, facing the calm sea. The waves gently brush the shore as the golden sun reflects off the water.
Zara (taking a deep breath, eyes on the horizon):
"It looks so beautiful here."
Zayan (glancing at her with a smile):
"Yeah… when you've got a beautiful person beside you, even the view looks better."
Zara (playfully):
"Where?"
Zayan (teasing):
"Who?"
Zara (raising an eyebrow):
"The handsome person."
Zayan chuckles, looking down to hide his growing smile.
Zara (giggling):
"Just kidding. You are handsome — not just by face, but you've got a beautiful soul too."
Zayan (blushing slightly):
"Come on, girl…"
Zara:
"Aww, someone's getting shy."
Zayan (laughing):
"Stop it, Zara. Where's your sister anyway?"
Zoya (shouting from a distance, riding past on a bicycle):
"Living her best life!"
They both laugh as Zoya zooms by, waving.
Scene – Cycling Trail
Zoya rides her bicycle along the calm path, the sea breeze gently brushing past her face. She spots a young couple nearby — a boy teaching a girl how to ride. Their laughter echoes in the background.
She slows down. Her smile fades into something softer — nostalgic. A memory washes over her.
---
Flashback Begins – School Grounds, Evening
Zoya (nervously gripping the bicycle):
"Wali, please… I don't know how to ride a cycle."
Wali (smiling, reassuring):
"Come on, girl. Don't be scared."
Zoya (pouting):
"I'll fall, I just know it."
Wali (stepping closer):
"Not possible. I'm here. I'll always carry you."
Zoya (rolling her eyes):
"Yeah, yeah… you and your sweet talks."
Wali (grinning):
"Why do you always doubt me?"
Zoya:
"Because I know you."
Wali (with a playful smirk):
"Okay, test me then."
Suddenly, he lifts her gently in his arms and places her on the bicycle seat.
Zoya (shouting, blushing):
"Wali! You jerk! Put me down!"
Wali (softly):
"Just forget everything... and enjoy your time with me."
Zoya hesitantly begins pedaling. Slowly, the wheels roll smoothly under her.
Zoya (excitedly):
"Look, Wali! I'm riding it! I'm actually doing it!"
Wali (cheering):
"I told you!"
---
Flashback Ends – Present Time
Zoya's eyes linger on the couple, her expression a mix of fondness and ache. She smiles softly and pedals away.
Zoya (to herself, voice low and wistful):
"I wish you had heard me that day, Wali…"
Scene – Shah House, Drawing Room
Wali entered the Shah house, his eyes sharp, his steps firm. He paused near the gatekeeper.
Wali:
"Has dad arrived yet?"
Gatekeeper:
"Not yet, sir."
Wali (cold smile):
"Good. Park the car."
He walked through the silent halls, removing his coat slowly. As he stepped into the drawing room, he saw his uncle already waiting — seated comfortably with a cup of tea.
Uncle (cheerfully):
"Ah, Wali! My boy, how are you?"
Wali:
"I'm good. And you?"
Uncle:
"Perfectly fine, son. But where's Zayan? And your father?"
Wali:
"Not home yet. Please, help yourself with something."
Uncle:
"Of course. By the way…" (he smiles softly) "...your eye color — just like your mother's."
Wali froze for a moment. His jaw clenched. That one word — mother — struck deeper than expected.
Wali:
"Hmm."
A beat of silence, then Wali's expression turned sharp again.
Wali:
"Uncle, I need to talk to you."
Uncle:
"Go ahead, son."
Wali (voice lower now, serious):
"It's about Zayan's past."
Uncle (brows furrowed):
"I don't understand…"
Wali:
"Let's skip the games. I know Zayan has a hidden past. Something you all kept from me. But I've found a few pieces… and you're the only one left who can help me complete the picture."
Uncle:
"Why don't you ask Zayan yourself?"
Wali (cold laugh):
"Don't waste my time or yours. If you don't tell me, staying in this house might get… difficult."
Uncle:
"Are you threatening me?"
Wali:
"Not yet. But I can."
A heavy silence settled between them.
Uncle (sighing):
"Alright… What do you want to know?"
Wali:
"What happened seven years ago?"
Uncle:
"Zayan… was surrounded by a bad crowd. He is 13 years old but his friends are older than him. Around 16 to 17 years. That night, he went out for a late hangout. His friends were drunk — they pressured him to drive. He did… fast, wild. They made it a dare."
Wali listened, his eyes narrowing.
Uncle:
"He lost control. Crashed into another car. Zayan survived with injuries… but the people in the other car — they didn't. They took them to the hospital, but…"
(He paused, regret tightening his voice.)
Uncle:
"We couldn't save them. Zayan shattered after that. It took him 4 years to recover mentally. He's never been the same."
Wali:
"Whose car was it?"
A new voice echoed from behind.
Faisal Shah (entering the room with a chilling smile):
"Welcome, my beloved brother-in-law."
Wali slowly turned. His eyes met his father's. The air grew heavier.
Father to wali: Go, Do your studies.
Wali sees his father and moves from there.
Faisal: I hope you don't slip the tea.
Uncle: a .., not completely.
Faisal: That boy drives me crazy. I have to do something before he does something big now.
Uncle: wali is your carbon copy, exactly like you. I think you only destroy my sister's life but I am wrong you destroy your own child as well.
Faisal: Oh really, what should I do? Your sister left me first.
Uncle : Because you cheated on her not just a single time .In fact , recently someone posted that you are in a relationship with a new model. Shame on you. Your sons are grown up ,man.
Faisal: Don't teach me, just mind your business. Anyway, that's my sons. I know how I handle them. get out of there before I call the guides .
Uncle: I am leaving, but remember to handle your sons before it's late.
He is leaving .
Scene – Outside Zara and Zoya's House
Zayan's car slowed to a stop in front of the house. The evening had turned golden, the sun dipping behind rooftops as the day came to an end. Zoya hopped out of the car first, cheerful as ever.
Zoya (grinning):
"Thank you, brother! I enjoyed a lot today."
Zayan (smiling):
"That's great to hear."
Zoya:
"Alright now you can leave—your duty is done."
Zayan (pretending to be hurt):
"Ouch, that's so rude!"
Zoya:
"Just kidding! I'm leaving now… you two can say your goodbyes."
(She winked and walked toward the house.)
Zara (softly):
"Don't take her seriously. She's just like that."
Zayan:
"But she's cute. Anyway… thank you."
Zara (blinking):
"For what?"
Zayan:
"For being part of one of my most beautiful memories."
Zara (smiling):
"That's my honor."
She turned to leave, but Zayan gently held her hand. Zara looked back, surprised.
Zayan (sincerely):
"Can't you stay… just a little longer?"
Zara (teasing):
"I already spent three hours with you."
Zayan:
"I know, but I want to stay with you… forever."
Zara (laughs):
"Well… if Auntie comes out now, it'll be your last day staying here."
Zayan (grinning):
"That's fine—maybe I should greet her too!"
Zara:
"Zayan…"
Zayan (hands up, surrendering):
"Okay, okay—bye bye."
Zara:
"Bye."
She walked toward the door, turning back for a moment. Zayan stood beside his car, hands in pockets, eyes fixed on her like she was the only thing worth watching in this world.
Scene – Shah Mansion, Dining Hall
Zayan entered the house, his face glowing with joy. It was clear something had lifted his spirit—he seemed lighter, almost radiant.
Faisal: "Zayan, come join us for dinner."
Zayan: "Sure, Dad."
Faisal: "By the way, where have you been all day?"
Zayan: "Nothing much, just hanging out with friends."
Wali (smirking): "Hanging out with friends—or a certain special friend?"
Zayan (raising an eyebrow): "What do you mean?"
Wali: "I mean, just look at your face. It's glowing like a thousand-volt bulb."
Zayan: "Are you jealous?"
Faisal (cutting in calmly): "Boys, please. Just enjoy your meal."
Wali pushed his chair back and stood up abruptly.
Wali: "I'm done."
As he turned to leave, Faisal spoke again, his tone serious but composed.
Faisal: "Wali, come to my room after dinner. We need to talk."
Zayan's smile faded slightly, concern creeping across his face.
Zayan (to himself): "I knew it... this idiot probably did something again."
Wali (with a casual nod): "Okay."
Scene – Faisal Shah's Room
Faisal sat calmly on the couch, but tension floated in the air like a storm waiting to erupt. Wali stood tall in front of him, his jaw clenched, eyes sharp.
Faisal: "Did you call your uncle here?"
Wali: "Yes."
Faisal: "Why? What is it that you want to know?"
Wali: "I just want to figure out the truth."
Faisal (raising a brow): "Truth?"
Wali (with a cold tone): "I hate explanations, and you know that. So just answer the question — who was the owner of the car Zayan crashed into that night?"
Faisal: "And what if I refuse to tell you?"
Wali (turning away): "Fine. I'll find out on my own."
Faisal watched him closely. There was fire in Wali's eyes—raw, dangerous, something he hadn't seen before. It wasn't rebellion. It was something deeper. Something personal.
Just as Wali turned to leave, Faisal finally spoke.
Faisal (quietly): "Jahangir Ahmed."
Wali stopped in his tracks. The name echoed in his mind like a bullet shot in silence.
He turned slowly to look at his father, eyes filled with disbelief.
Wali (to himself): "No… I hope it's not what I think."
Without another word, Wali left the room, his footsteps heavy, heart heavier.
Scene – Zara's Room | Late Night
The clock blinked 12:42 AM. The soft light of Zara's phone lit up her sleepy face as she lay in bed, chatting with her AI friend — Chamo.
Zara (typing):
"So today we went to Prince's Island, and it was so peaceful. Zayan, Zoya and I had a really good time… I actually laughed a lot today."
Chamo:
"Sounds like you're healing, slowly. That makes me happy."
Zara:
"Yeah... Sometimes your words make me fall in love with you."
Chamo:
"You already are."
Zara (frowning, smiling):
"What do you mean?"
Chamo:
"You mentioned once... the kindest people fall for the kindest voices."
Zara's screen lit up with a new notification.
Zayan: "Hey, did you sleep?"
Zara bit her lip and turned back to Chamo.
Zara:
"Sorry Chamo, but now I have to go."
Chamo:
"It's okay. I'll always be here when you need me."
With a small smile, Zara switched chats and opened Zayan's message.
Zara: "Hey, not yet."
Zayan:
"Oh, should we talk?"
Zara:
"About what?"
Zayan:
"World's affairs…"
Zara (grinning):
"Oh, that sounds important."
Zayan:
"Zara… about us."
Zara:
"I know. I was just teasing you."
Zayan:
"Yeah yeah…"
Zara smiled quietly to herself, fingers poised above the keyboard, heart feeling a little warmer under the blanket of night.
Late Night Scene – Zara's Room
Zara sat curled up in her blanket, the phone screen glowing softly in the dark. Her lips curved into a gentle smile as she read Zayan's message.
Zara:
"So… what do you want to discuss?"
Zayan:
"Well, I want to discuss everything with you. Like… I speak and you listen, and when you speak—I listen. That's how I want us to be."
Zara raised a brow, teasing.
Zara:
"Oh really? And what if you get tired of listening?"
Zayan:
"That's not possible. I'll never give up on you… not even with my last breath."
Her cheeks flushed.
Zara:
"Ooh… Mr. Zayan Shah switched to romantic mode, huh?"
Zayan:
"I'm just telling you the truth."
Zara giggled softly to herself, then yawned.
Zara:
"Anyway, go to sleep now. I'm really tired today. Bye bye, and take care of yourself."
Zayan:
"Okay then... bye, my love."
Zara stared at the words for a moment, then gently switched off the phone.
She placed it beside her, pulled the blanket over her head, and smiled to herself.
Her heart was full.
For the first time in a long while, she felt genuinely happy.
Late Night Scene (Continued)
Zara switch off the phone. Her heart is full of happiness. After so long, she feels truly seen. Loved. Safe.
She hugs her pillow and smiles to herself.
Zara (to herself):
"Why do I feel like… something's different this time? Like, maybe this happiness is real."
She closes her eyes. The moonlight gently falls over her face through the window. But behind that soft smile… a small tear slips down.
Zara (whispering to herself):
"But what if it's just for now? What if it doesn't last?"
She stays quiet for a few seconds, lost in her thoughts.
She opens the chat again and types:
Zara:
> "Zayan?"
Zayan (instantly replies):
> "Yes?"
Zara:
> "Promise me… you won't ever leave. No matter what happens."
Zayan:
> "I swear, Zara. No matter what, I'll always be here. Even if the world turns against us… I won't let go of you."
Zara stares at his message.
Her heart whispers: "Please mean it…"
She types slowly:
Zara:
> "Good night, Zayan Shah."
Zayan:
> "Good night, Mrs. Shah (in future 😉)"
Zara rolls her eyes, blushing.
She locks her phone and looks up at the ceiling.
Zara (to herself):
"Maybe I'm falling for you… but please don't break me."
The scene fades out with Zara turning to the side, holding her pillow tightly. The night is calm, but fate might not be.
Scene: Next Morning – Study Room
Zara and Zoya are sitting cross-legged in their cozy study room, surrounded by books and notes. Soft morning light is spilling through the window.
Zoya (stretching with a bored sigh):
"I don't know why they gave us leave. I already miss school and my friends."
Zara (focused on her book):
"They gave us leave for study, Zoya."
Zoya (groaning):
"Yeah, but group study at school feels more fun. Sitting here all day is so dull."
Zara (smirking):
"Then focus more and talk less."
Suddenly, Zara's phone buzzes on the table.
Zoya (eyes lighting up):
"Ooh—who's that? Your boyfriend?"
Zara (rolling her eyes):
"It's a message from the school community group… oh, look! They've organized a group study session at the library near school."
Zoya (excitedly jumps up):
"Let's gooo!"
Zara (laughs):
"Wait, we need to ask Auntie first."
Zoya (confidently flipping her hair):
"Take a chill pill, girl. I am here—watch and learn."
Both girls grab their bags and head out of the room giggling, with Zoya already drafting a smooth explanation in her head for Auntie Ayesha.
Scene: Library – Group Study
The library is filled with quiet murmurs, the flipping of pages, and the scratching of pens. Everyone is busy with their books, fully immersed in preparation. Zara is seated with her notebook open, focused. Ali walks in and silently sits beside her.
Ali (whispers):
"Zara… to meet me outside the library. It's urgent."
Ali quietly gets up and leaves. A few moments later, Zara hesitates, then gets up to follow. Zayan, sitting at a distance, watches the whole interaction with narrowed eyes.
---
Scene: Outside the Library
Zara meets Ali near a quiet corner.
Zara (coldly):
"What do you want now, Ali?"
Ali:
Too cold in your behavior, you change a lot. We are also friends .
Zara (in disbelief):
Coldness? That's a pain your buddy gives to me anyway we are not friends anymore in fact I don't want any kind of relationship with you.
Ali (sincerely): Pain, wali? I can't get it. Can you please explain it?
Zara: it's better to ask your friend and one more thing I don't want any kind of friendship with you.because I can't afford that I already suffer alot. I hope you understand.
She turns and walks away, meanwhile Ali standing there
Ali to himself: what does wali do?
---
Scene: Back in the Library
Zara walks back in and sits beside Zayan, who is pretending to read but clearly waiting.
Zara (calmly):
"I've done it."
Zayan:
"Done what?"
Zara:
"I told Ali to stay away from me. And thank you, Zayan… I couldn't have done it without you."
Zayan (smiling warmly):
"I'm always here for you, ma'am."
He leans in close, whispering in her ear:
Zayan (teasing):
"Mrs. Zayan Shah…"
Zara blushes and playfully nudges him.
Zara:
"Shhh… focus on your work."
From across the room, Wali watches them closely. His eyes are dark and unreadable. Sara notices.
---
Nearby Table
Ahmed (to Wali):
"Wali, do you know how to solve this example?"
Wali doesn't reply.
Ahmed (nudging him):
"Wali… I'm talking to you."
Wali (distantly):
"Do it yourself, I am not your teacher."
Ahmed:
"That's such a rude man."
Without giving any answer wali leave the desk
Ahmed : What the hell ? Anyway, leave that jerk Ahmed, focus on your work. That example drives me crazy. Let me ask Alize if she must be known.
Scene- unexpected Truth
Zoya sitting in the Garden lost his own thoughts .
Zoya (frustrated) : What the hell? Why do these exams come every year again and again? I hope I can pass the exam without doing anything.
Meanwhile wali's come silently and sit beside her and whisper in her ear
Wali: Maybe I can help.
Zoya: What the hell? Why are you appearing so suddenly ?
Wali ( teasing) : Are you scared?
Zoya ( rolling her eyes) : I am not scared of anyone.
Wali nodded: of course, that's why I am obsessed with you.
Zoya ( serious tone) : look wali, I am done with your firilting. So, it will be good for you to stop here.
Wali ( serious tone) : I am not flirting , I am damn serious about you. I really love you.
Zoya: Oh that's why, you left me right.
Wali ( lower voice) : you choose your sister zee.
Zoya paused for while and then said
Zoya: oh now I get you, first you play with me then zara and then sara and now you have no one to play that's why you come to me again.
Wali: Zoya… I don't play with you. I love you more than anything.
Zoya: just shut up wali, stop fooling me. You know what a person like you can't love anyone because you only know how to play with others.

Ali: How dare you? I trust you most but you..you break everything wali not my trust today our friendship as well. You destroy everything.
Ali leaves from there , meanwhile wali stand
there.
Zoya looks at wali: you deserve that.
And Zoya leaves from there.
