" impossible!" Amon couldn't help but squeal out. The "fake"
moon crystals were actually able to absorb the chaos energy into them, a sight
he believed to be nearly impossible, and the worst part, the item was created
by a bunch of humans.
" Ha! It seems you're not the know it all you claim yourself
to be!" Ethan smirked like a puppy who just found meat to chew on.
This time, he was finally able to get back at Amon and prove
him wrong.
" What happened, shouldn't be possible. I refuse to believe
humans can create such an item. It's simply impossible….unless," as if
realizing something, he paused.
" Unless? Unless what?"
" Unless your parents know about the supernatural,"

Somewhere far from Ethan's basement

" Hurry up, tonight would be a full moon night. That means a
lot of shadow beasts would be paying us a visit. We need to make sure that
visit is contained in this forest alone!"
Five silhouettes danced gracefully through the forest trees
like birds in the sky.
They moved swiftly and nimbly, dodging all sorts of branches
and tress in their way. It almost seemed like nothing could stop them.
Soon, all five reached a clearing, where the trees were
fewer, and so decided to stop for the time being.
There were two males and three females in the group. One of
the males was huge and seemed like a bonafide bodybuilder who had nothing else
to do in life than lifting weights.
His name was Rowdy.
The other, who seemed to be in command of the group, had a
more warrior prince like body, with a face that could put angels to shame. His
name was James.
The other three, who were females, were Mira and Kira, their
identical looks automatically made them to be twins.
Finally, was the silent white haired one. She had sky blue
eyes and pure white hair, long enough to reach her waist, she looked exactly
like the picture one would portray when they thought of the ice-queen, as cold
air rolled off her like she brought winter along.
She was also the latest addition to their group and so isn't
very familiar with the rest, but made sure to do as she was told. He name was….
Eliza.
" Rowdy, secure a perimeter with energy dust, that should be
able to attract the shadow beasts into the forest," James commanded, and
immediately, Rowdy made a salute gesture to James before turning around and
vanishing into the forest.
He then turned his head to the girls," Mira, Kira, use your
skills to each the first for tonight. We don't want any casualties on our
hands, and besides… I'm not interested in listening to another one of the
guardian's lectures," he seemed to have a recalled a terrible memory he did not
wish to experience again as he said the guardian.
And it seemed that he wasn't the only one, as the twins also
shivered in discomfort," Yes boss! We won't let you down," they both chorused
simultaneously, and jumped into a tree, also soon vanishing from view.
" And Eliza—um—I don't have anymore task to hand out, I
guess we're both free for the time being," James said, as he stared at
Eliza with a wide smile.
The cold beauty nodded slightly, as she looked around her in
curiously.
This was her first time outside the realm. The human world
felt heavier, warmer… alive in a way she wasn't used to. Even the air tasted
different.
Seeing her ignore him so, James felt a bit awkward as he had
never been in such a situation. Usually, girls would literally make a line for
him to give them compliments, now hat he was taking the initiative to talk, he
was suddenly being ignored. It felt more like someone had stabbed him than
someone had ignored him.
*Whatever. Plenty of girls would kill for five
seconds of my attention anyways* He thought, restoring his ego to it's original
haughty state.

" What? That's impossible, if they knew about the
supernatural, wouldn't they have said something to me by now?" Ethan refused to
believe Amon's words, as he thought about the fact that although his parents
kept secrets, they wouldn't keep such a secret…. Right?
" A mindless child you are indeed. Your parents have lied to
you so many times, yet you want to believe that they cannot do so to you again.
They know about the supernatural, that can be the only reason why they—"
" Stop! Okay! Just stop it!" Ethan lashes out, not waiting
for Amon to finish his words.
" Look, I don't care whether they know or not, neither should you, let's just pretend like we didn't have this conversation okay?"
" Pretend? Pretend!?! Boy do you forget who I am! And you dare ask of me to pretend?! Rubbish!" Amon outraged in anger. A surge of purple smoke burst from Ethan's skull, swirling upward before snapping into the shape
of a towering wolf made of stars.
Seeing the wolf again, Ethan felt fear once more, his body
uncontrollably shaking. He clenched his fist so tightly that his palms soon
began bleeding, allowing the pain to snap him out of his fear.
" Hm? You're able to control your fear to an extent now I see," Amon said, his cosmic fangs shimmering under the dim light in the lab.
" Now, child, do not ever make a request of me, especially not something as maddening as pretending….do you understand!" He let out a low growl, returning Ethan back to hsj fearful state.
Ethan nodded nervously to Amon's words, signifying that he
understood. He understood completely.
" Good, now the sun is soon to hang low, and the night shall rise once again. We no longer have much time. Grab the crystals and let us leave this place. It is time for your awakening," for the first time ever,
there seemed to have been excitement in Amon's voice, and because of this,
Ethan knew that whatever it was, it wouldn't all be fun and games.
