After waiting for a few minutes, All for One held Ram's cheek slowly. He was very careful as to not add any strength into his grip. His current strength could easily kill the baby if not controlled.
Even just touching Ram let All for one feel the immense amount of mana within her. It was almost twice the amount he currently possessed, which was already excellent.
'She would have turned out to be a good pawn, but....'
It was unknown whether she would survive what All for One was going to do next.
Maneuvering his quirk, he instantly felt two abilities that could be plundered instantly.
'I can choose the ability to plunder?' Mild surprise flashed past his eyes, before a grin appeared on his face.
All for one's quirk didn't have such an ability in the past. He quickly focused on the ethereal ability on Ram and activated his quirk at full power.
Red energy rose from his hands, which held Ram's cheek and entered into his body.
[Divine protection of clairvoyance] - instantly information flowed into his mind.
Looking at his palm, there was no familiar mark of his quirk. He could only feel the very familiar sensation deep within him and that's all.
Taking a look at Ram, who still looked at him innocently - All for one smiled with satisfaction.
If the horn was plundered, which could be said to be the most important 'limb' of the oni clan - It could have put Ram's life at risk. But for something like a divine protection, it had no connection to the physical body.
Hence, nothing in particular occurred.
'From the connection I feel to it, Divine protection is closer to the soul, than our body. A very interesting ability indeed.'
As for the new divine protection he just got, All for One went through the information that just appeared in his head - while continuing to play with the two twins.
This new ability was divided into two part:
Vision synchronization: he could synchronize his vision with individuals who are on the same wavelength as his, allowing him to see through their eyes.
Long-distance sight: This makes him capable of seeing as far as a thousand meters.
'Support type divine protection...' Disappointment appeared on his face.
There seems to be multiple side effects to this divine protection too as it appears. Mainly what bothered All for one was the wavelength and that he couldn't move while using it.
It put a load on his eyes and legs too, but it could be negated with his [Divine protection of earth spirit]'s recovery.
After contemplating for a while, All for One turned towards the small Oni with pink hair.
'A fine pawn indeed...but her family is getting in my way.'
Spending more than a century manipulating organisations from the dark - had given him enough experience to brainwash people.
The twins before him were easy to manipulate and mould into his taste, but their parents were in his way.
'Now is not the time, I can take care of them in the future. For now, I need more strength.' All for one's gaze grew cold.
With enough strength - anything was possible. He believed it and had experienced it himself.
After handing Rem and Ram one of the toys, All for One focused on his new ability. He activated it calmly.
At that very moment, his vision changed into a dense forest. Feeling his vision moving slowly, All for one understood instinctively that he was looking through a rabbit's eye.
Deactivating it, All for one used it again after a few minutes. This time he synchronized his vision with a wild boar.
After experimenting for a while, All for One knew the basic criteria of the animals he could synchronize with.
They have to be creatures that walk on the ground and their feet must touch the ground as he synchronises with them. They can leave the ground and move around once the synchronisation was complete.
'I can't synchronize with anything beyond the forest. It can be used for information collection as I thought, mostly for scouting or spying on others.' All for one kept trying out new things, fascinated by a new toy after a long time.
Soon after, All for one's mother walked into the twins house, invited by their mother.
His mother possessed blonde hair with deep red eyes, similar to All for one. Her expression was rigid, but it quickly softened as she saw All for one looking at the twins.
Her name was Matilda, a fighter and a warrior of the oni clan.
Temae greeted her happily and they began talking as if they were close friends naturally.
Looking at the black sky from the window, All for one got interested in what his mother was talking about with Temae.
Matilda: "The war between the demihumans and humans is reaching a heated moment. The oni clan would not be able to stay clean from it forever either. The village won't be safe if that happens."
Matilda looked at All for one worriedly.
Temae became worried too: "The witch's cult have been very active in hunting other oni tribes too. I hope the chief doesn't act reckless at this moment."
They continued talking out their worries, while All for One almost broke into laughter.
'No matter which world.... it's the same in the end. Prejudice and discrimination, demihuman are inherently different from humans so I should have predicted this. War, heh....just the kind of place where I can thrive.'
All for one actually wishes for war to go on till he was ready to step into the bigger world.
Only war could push people to the extreme and choose an unorthodox path.
'Brethren...A Good reason to bring demihumans into my grasp. I should gather information about other demihuman species at the village chief's house later.'
Not only was All for one interested in conquering them, he wanted to see if he could steal their abilities along the way.
'Having mutant features, many of them should have abilities that can help me strengthen my body.' All for one clenched his fists slowly.
"Okay, enough about that! Seth! Come to the table." Matilda's smile almost stretched to her ears, as she saw All for one walk to them.
'I will protect him no matter what.' Matilda thought seriously.
