Strategic Planning
Morning light filtered through the mist clinging to the safehouse windows, casting everything in a muted silver glow. Isabelle stood at the center of the room, her hand resting lightly on her stomach, a sense of urgency pressing down on her. Sebastian moved around the table, spreading out the files from Northern Sector across its surface.
"Here," he said, pointing to the digital map projected on a nearby screen. Red dots pulsed in clusters each one representing a facility, a laboratory, or a known Vale operative location. "These are confirmed bases. Northern Sector, Western Labs, Eastern Outposts. We've only scratched the surface."
Isabelle frowned, leaning closer. "And Project Eden Phase III that's what we saw in the files last night?"
Sebastian nodded. "Yes. Phase III involves live test subjects, genetic manipulation. The data suggests Phase IV will escalate to operational deployment whatever that means."
Her stomach tightened. "Meaning?"
