This was what Edith feared if she lied to Cliff. Now she had to act quickly to return to her residence before she was caught. However, before that, she had to call Patrick to look after Callum while she was away. Although Callum was recovering, she still needed someone to help her look after him. She was afraid that Callum's mental state would suddenly become unstable again.
"Edith, you should go home first. I'll take care of you later."
Edith rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Since you did that stupid thing yesterday, I won't let you stay home alone."
"This time I won't do it again. I promised you that before, too."
"Is it that hard for you to spend time with Patrick for a while?"
"Actually, I'm really tired of talking to him almost every day."
"Even though you talk to me every day."
"But I won't get bored because you're so special." Callum winked with his right eye.
