The farewell dinner wasn't even planned. One minute Minho said he was hungry, the next we were squeezed into a too-small table at a cheap Korean eatery, dragging along two near-strangers who somehow already felt like they'd been part of the group for ages.
Zeke and Mikel had no idea what they walked into.
Minho slammed the menu down like he was calling a guild meeting. "Alright. Mikel's paying."
Mikel didn't even blink. "Why?"
"Because you keep dropping money on nonsense in the game," Minho said. "You can definitely handle a few rice bowls without crying."
Zeke cackled. "He's got a point."
Mikel gave Zeke a betrayed look. "You're supposed to be on my side."
"I am. But this is funny."
Suyoung massaged her temples like she regretted having friends. "Can we just order before Eunji starts threatening somebody?"
I raised a hand. "To be fair, I haven't threatened anyone yet."
"Yet," she said.
