The scientist paused, turning around to look at Jin. "What do you mean?"
"I mean that my grandmother removed that gene from me. Well, deactivated it at least since the data that made the gene is still in my body."
She squinted her eyes. "Explain."
Jin only said two words. "DNA Splicer."
"Ahh." She completely understood.
"But that shouldn't matter. As you said, the data for that gene is still in your body, so all we have to do is recreate that. But that's easier said than done."
"Messing with DNA is pretty tricky because of how fragile it can be," Jin replied
"Indeed. It's funny because DNA is actually very strong and is hard to mess with, but once you know how to change or alter it in some way, you have to be very careful with it so you don't destroy it as if you're some type of radiation poison."
It was nice speaking to someone who was smart. Jin, while he was surrounded by smart people, they weren't science smart like he was.
