Max watches with hooded eyes, his jaw clenches as he adjusts in his seat. His sparkling green eyes are glued to Leo's figure, the way his chest pushes forward, glued to the way his hips move. He leans forward and rests his elbows on the table, his hands clasped together with the look of a predator.
It all sends shivers down Leo's spine. His skin grows heated, his eyes locked on the alpha across the room. Everyone else around them fades away, the two only aware of each other.
Max reaches down to adjust himself in his pants, drawing Leo's attention there. The onega's heart pounds in his chest, and he can't tell if it's the alcohol making him feel this way, or if it's something else. He has to get away. Flustered and aching, Leo steps out of the alphas arms who clings to him from behind.
"What-" He goes to protest and pull him back, but Leo forces a smile with bared teeth. It makes the man frown, his eyebrows narrowing.
"Sorry, bathroom break." Then Leo pulls his arm away and without glancing back at either him or Max, he makes a beeline for the restroom.
"Fuckin' cock tease!" The alpha shouts after him, his voice tinged with anger. Leo flushes but doesn't turn back around to defend himself. As far as Leo is concerned, he became irrelevant the moment he saw Max sitting at that table, with his entire being focused on him.
Luckily, there isn't a line. He pushes the door open and when it closes, he leans his back on it. His head thumps against the surface of the door as he takes a deep breath to calm himself. Max didn't stare at Leo like the alpha did. The random man who bought them drinks, the one Leo danced with, stared at him like he was delicate and worth a night of fun. The way Max stares at him, the way his green eyes devours every inch of his body, is like a man starved. An alpha who's desperate.
"Ha," Leo tilts his head and glares at himself through the mirror that stands above the sink counter. Why is Max here alone? Was he searching for a one night stand? The thought makes him frown.
Leo's moment of peace doesn't last long as the door opens, pushing him forward. He stumbles and then catches himself on the sink counter. Maybe he shouldn't have been standing there like a dope.
He looks up in the mirror, ready to apologize for blocking the door, or ready to scold if it's the alpha on the dance floor who happened to follow him, but he freezes when he sees it's Max.
The brown haired alpha doesn't blink as he pins Leo where he is with just his tense stare. The door shuts, and with a seemingly loud click, Max locks it.
"What are you doing?" Leo's voice comes out breathless, his neck flushing with heat. His swallow is loud in the quiet room, and Max tracks the way his adams apple moves.
Max shrugs, shoving his hands into his pants pockets, and takes a step forward. The movement makes Leo turn around, so he's facing the alpha rather than watching his reflection in the mirror.
"I told you." Leo practically sneers at him, "You're a stalker."
Max chuckles, the sound mean and sharp. "I'm sorry to tell you, but I didn't come to this club for you." He pulls a hand out from his pocket and rubs his thumb along his lower lip, his gaze glued to Leo's waist. "There was someone had to meet."
Leo frowns at him and Max smirks.
"Don't pout, little omega. I'm here with you, aren't I?" He raises an eyebrow and takes another step closer. Leo presses his back against the counter, his fingers curling over the edge as the air grows thicker between them.
Max takes a deep breath and his body shudders, "You're bad at controlling your pheromones." His grin is feral as his green eyes take a darker hue. He pushes his hips into Leo's, his hand raising to the omegas face. He doesn't touch him though, his palm hovering so close to his skin.
"Who were you dancing with?" Max murmurs, his other hand nearly shakes as he gently presses his thumb into Leo's waist. As his nail grazes beneath his shirt, he presses the rest of his fingers onto his bare hips, his palm large and warm as his hold tightens. He drops the hand near Leo's face, and instead glides a light touch to the back of his neck, his fingers curling around his blond hair.
Leo sighs, a sound of contempment as he subconsciously leans into his touch. "I don't know," A slender shoulder raises half heartedly. "Bought me a drink."
Max licks the inside of his cheek, his green eyes narrowing. His grip tightens around the back of Leo's figure and he leans down. He presses his face against the crook where Leo's shoulder meets his neck, and takes a deep shuddering breath. Leo's scent of pumpkins and raindew clouds the bathroom, clinging to Max's clothes. If the alpha could, he'd bottle it all up just for himself.
"You're driving me insane." Max growls the words, his lips brushing against Leo's collar bone. The omega whimpers, his head tilting back to allow him more access. "You knew what you were doing. Staring at me like an omega starved as you danced with another alpha." His words make goosebumps rise on Leo's skin, and he finds his knees weak. It's a good thing he's trapped between the counter and Max, otherwise he'd fall to the floor.
"Who are you here to meet?" Leo's voice comes out breathless and unfocused. He uncurls his fingers from around the counter and grabs the hem of Max's shirt. He doesn't push him away or try to break free, he just clings to the fabric.
Max doesn't answer him, his lips pecking the delicate skin of Leo's neck.
