The sky was heavy with clouds when they arrived at the old harbor, and the waves crashed against the rocks as if whispering a dark warning.Ayrion stood at the edge of the pier, staring at the endless sea, while Luca loaded their supplies onto the ship with swift, precise movements.
Luca: "We've finally made it to the harbor. From here, we sail to the Island of Beasts!"(looks around) "Huh? Ayrion? Where did you go this time?!"
A faint thud followed by an embarrassed laugh came from behind the barrels.
Ayrion (laughing): "I… kinda got lost. Everything looks the same here."Luca: "Lost? At the harbor? Man, if the path to glory's like this, you'll never make it!"
They both laughed, then boarded the ship as the wind filled its heavy sails.
An hour passed... then two.The sea began to stir, and the wind howled like a pack of hungry wolves.
Ayrion: "Luca! Wake up! Luca!"Luca (half-asleep): "Mmm... what is it?"Ayrion: "It's a storm!"
The ship rocked violently. Waves slammed against the hull, water spraying in every direction. One of the sailors screamed as he clung to a rope:
Sailor: "Help! He's falling into the sea!"
Before anyone could move, a terrifying roar echoed from below. The water bulged upward—then massive tentacles erupted from the depths, glistening like steel in the lightning.
Ayrion (shocked): "What is that…?!"Luca (whispering): "The Kraken… the sea's ancient nightmare."
One enormous tentacle slammed into the ship's bow, splintering it apart.Ayrion grabbed the railing, shouting:
Ayrion: "Luca!"Luca (steadying himself with his dagger): "Hold on!"
But the Kraken's arms dragged the ship into the abyss, and everything went dark.
When Ayrion opened his eyes, he was lying on wet sand. The air was thick with mist, and the distant jungle roared with unseen life.He staggered to his feet, noticing giant footprints leading into the forest.
Luca (calling from afar): "Ayrion! Where are you?!"
A thunderous roar shook the trees.A massive gorilla burst from the jungle, eyes burning with rage.Ayrion raised his broken blade, but the beast's strike was too fast.
At the last moment, Luca appeared like lightning, slicing across the creature's arm with a strange silver-glowing dagger — his Dagger of Rekh, forged from rare enchanted ore.
Luca: "Told you not to start trouble without me!"Ayrion (grinning): "You're late, as always."
They fought side by side — until the ground trembled again. From the forest emerged dozens of gorillas, circling them like shadows.
Ayrion: "Ready? We protect each other's backs!"Luca: "Twenty against two? Oh, this is definitely unfair."Ayrion: "Think we can win?"Luca (smirking): "We don't have a choice."
A gorilla lunged — Luca sidestepped gracefully and slashed with lightning speed.A surge of electricity burst from his dagger, shocking several enemies.
Luca: "Thunder Wrath!"
Then Ayrion's eyes darkened, energy swirling around him like a storm.
Ayrion: "Royal Destruction!"
The ground exploded beneath them, and the gorillas fell one after another. When the dust settled, Ayrion sat on a rock, breathing heavily, his blade dripping with blood.
Ayrion (calmly): "Where's their leader…?"
