Dodging Tsunade's flying kick, Ebara watched a boulder turn to dust under her force.
His heart raced.
"Good thing I'm fast," he thought. "Otherwise, that'd be me."
[Choice successful! Mysterious Grand Prize obtained!]
The system's voice rang in his ears.
"Open the prize!" Ebara commanded mentally.
[Grand Prize opened. Congratulations, Host, for obtaining Wind Style: Wind Binding Jutsu and Comprehension Bread!]
[Wind Style: Wind Binding Jutsu: Summons a gust to restrain enemies!]
[Comprehension Bread: Imprint a ninjutsu, secret art, or taijutsu onto the bread. Consume it to master the technique instantly! Note: Limited to A-rank or below techniques, one per bread.]
"Two rewards? Not bad!" Ebara praised internally.
Wind Binding Jutsu was straightforward—a control technique.
Comprehension Bread reminded him of Doraemon's Memory Bread, a childhood envy now his through the system.
Glancing back, Tsunade was charging again.
Ebara swiftly formed seals, exhaling.
"Wind Style: Wind Binding Jutsu!"
A gentle gust enveloped Tsunade, freezing her in place.
He stepped close, facing her furious glare, praying internally: Hope those online tricks to calm a girlfriend work.
He'd seen them in his past life, never used them—until now.
"Mouth Release: Eiffel Tower Kiss!"
Ebara leaned in and kissed Tsunade.
Her enraged expression softened instantly.
Jiraiya, Sawako, and Kushina gaped, dumbfounded.
Is this free-to-watch content?
Jiraiya felt heartbroken. Damn, more PDA torture!
Sawako screamed internally: Where's the beating Ebara was supposed to get?
Kushina, thoughtful, mused: Strength is everything. He didn't even fight back, just used his charm. Power means control—over men and love!
Her thoughts veered wildly off track.
After a long moment, Ebara and Tsunade parted.
He stared at her silently.
Tsunade, under his gaze, grew shy, cheeks red like ripe peaches, stirring wild thoughts.
"You believe me now?" Ebara asked.
"I'll let you off this time," Tsunade said, rolling her eyes.
She shot Sawako a warning glare and returned to healing her teammates.
Ebara exhaled in relief.
"No wonder Naruto loves Mouth Release. It's called the ninja world's top technique—stronger than any bloodline limit or elimination," he thought, wiping his mouth. "I should practice with Tsunade more. Might even work on Kaguya someday."
Lost in thought, he rejoined Jiraiya.
Jiraiya, seething, said, "If I've sinned, let the heavens judge me, not make me watch your PDA."
Ebara scoffed. "No charge for the show. Be grateful. Elsewhere, you'd need a subscription."
He turned to Sawako, who glared murderously, ready to tear him apart.
"You were the sneaky one, trying that seduction plan to escape," Ebara said. "I just played along."
"Wait and see. I won't let you off," Sawako hissed.
Recalling him making her call him "Master" and massage him (Chapter 56), she fumed.
Back in the Uzumaki Village, she lived in luxury, pampered.
Now, she endured Ebara's nonsense.
"Do what you want," Ebara said, unbothered.
Under Tsunade's care, the three Konoha ninjas were soon fit to travel.
"The puppets' poison isn't strong, but I lack the antidote," Tsunade said. "I've sealed the venom to stop further damage. Back in the village, I'll make a cure. Two days, and you'll be fine."
"Got it," one ninja said, grinning. "Missions with a medic are safe."
"Every team should have a medic to cut casualties. I'll propose it to the Third," Tsunade said.
She turned to Ebara. "Let's head back together."
He nodded.
The eight set off for Konoha.
"By the way, know anything about Murou Ichiro and Hana?" Ebara asked, recalling Chiyo's panic (Chapter 59).
With his knowledge of Chiyo, she wouldn't care so much for just anyone.
He suspected they were Sasori's parents (Naruto canon).
"Murou Ichiro is Chiyo's son, a talented jonin. Hana, her daughter-in-law, is the Second Kazekage's disciple," Tsunade said.
Konoha kept files on other villages' key figures, distributed to jonin.
"Thought so," Ebara nodded. "I've made an enemy of Chiyo for good."
Tsunade turned. "Does Chiyo know your dad? She recognized you instantly and seemed to hate you."
Ebara gave a wry smile. "No clue. Gotta ask him back home."
After three hours, they reached Konoha.
"Take them to Mito first," the Third said to Ebara and Tsunade. "It'll ease their minds."
"Yes," they replied.
They led Kushina and Sawako to Tsunade's home.
"Auntie, is Mito the one who married the First Hokage, like the clan always said?" Kushina asked, eyes wide with curiosity.
"Yes," Sawako said calmly.
Beneath her calm, hatred simmered—toward Mito and Konoha for not aiding the Uzumaki Village when it fell (Naruto canon).
Had Konoha helped, the village wouldn't have collapsed, and they wouldn't be fugitives.
Her gaze fell on a ninja's back, bearing the Uzumaki symbol of Konoha's alliance.
"You still keep that symbol?" she sneered at Ebara and Tsunade. "Don't you find it ironic?"
