Third Person POV
Adrian snaked his arm around Stella's waist as he led her out of the room, and the door clicked shut behind them.
His steps were slow and measured as he walked beside her down the hallway. Feeling the heat from his palms, Stella's heart raced, yet she forced herself to keep her composure.
They arrived at the large wide door at the end of the hallway. Adrian's footsteps paused, casting her a fleeting glance. "Let's eat before you leave," he said gently.
Stella nodded. She really needed this meal. This morning had taken all the little energy she had left in her body…
First, it was James Norton's bait with her origin, then Adrian came forward with that seductive frame that got her tangled in the sheets with him, and just when she sighed with relief…she was pulled to sit before the dressing mirror.
And this trip to Phina's wedding, Stella was already clear of the situation. She would end up without any.
