His voice growled with displeasure, even though he wasn't in the same space with me I could still feel the fury that radiated from him over the phone.
My lips curled up in a mocking sneer, it was really ridiculous at how fast he changed his face.
Moments ago he was pretending to care. And like a flip of the coin he had turned frosty.
Why had the mask suddenly come off?
Isn't his actions a bit contradictory to the prestige he held?
"Dad, at the moment…it is really unnecessary to bother about who I am with." I smirked.
I still don't understand what sort of stock the Norton's are really made of. Over and over they had carefully refreshed my understanding of the word shameless.
One moment they are asking for your head and at the next moment they will give you the illusion to think they care.
He drew in a deep breath as he continued "Stella, I know so many things happened tonight but I hope you wouldn't be abrupt in taking a wrong decision."
