*Kai starts it off, dashing towards Mari, Mari quickly grabs his axe as the weapons clash.*
Mari- (There is only so much this axe can handle.)
*As the weapons push off each other, the axe slightly cracks.*
Kai- Your weapon is pathetic.
*Kai rushes again but Mari quickly dodges.*
Mari- (I can't use any abilities, I need to preserve my Empath to small bursts.)
Kai- Lucky.
*Kai strikes again but Mari once again dodges.*
Kai- This can only last you for so long.
*Kai pushes even harder being more aggressive.*
Mari- (I can't stop just focus on saving Empath.)
*As the battle continues Mari dodges each attack but as time passes he gets slower.*
Mari- (I don't know how if I can dodge as fast anymore.)
*Suddenly Kai appears behind Mari.*
Kai- What happened? Are you all out?
*Kai with his overwhelming speed stabs Mari side but Mari manages to get him off.*
Mari- (It could have been worse but this hurts more then I thought)
*Mari breathing slows down as he heightens his senses.*
Mari- (Look like you're unguarded and focus your Empath into one burst to strike.)
*Kai notices this and takes his advantage and tries to strike Mari.*
Mari-(Focus it on the burst and then bang.)
*Kai goes behind to strike but with unprecedented timing Mari dodges to the side and right hooks Kai.*
Mari- I manage to hit him!
*Mari eyes glow as pushes to Kai striking his vitals to stall him as Kai just smiles.*
Kai- You did but not enough.
*Kai Empath goes higher as he pops out behind Mari.*
Mari- (Even faster!?)
*Mari gets strike getting sent across but when the smoke disappears Mari is gone.*
Kai- Where did he?
*Kai senses his Empath as he turns to only see his Axe. As he realizes Mari shows up on the other side as he punches his liver.*
Kai- Your smart.
*Kai slash Mari again leaving a white burn.*
Mari- This burn mark. This effect is usually synonymous with Holy Potions.
Mari- The main ingredient is those have not been use in 30 years due to how rare it is so how is your sword doing that.
Kai- I guess you figured but let me tell you.
Kai- My sword is made from Puretal, a mineral that goes for a lot even Royals struggle to find but the reason why is because it can handle enchants made from Highborns.
Mari- Are you saying that your sword is from-
Kai- Yep my sword is enchanted with Highborn Blood.
*The crowd is heard whispering. As murmurs are heard around.*
*Goes to Faye.*
Faye- Highborn!? Like the wings, he never mentioned this to me. Did he get this from the Royals, if not where is the blood from.
*We see Forge and Justus reaction.*
Justus- Highborn Blood. What I said before was right which makes this bad for Mari.
Forge- Despite their strength, they were deemed extinct.
Justus- They had a few weaknesses regardless of their power. They were the only race to have access to Light/ Pure Energy but the downside is that's the one thing that can use.
Forge- So at-least we know what type his Spirit move is.
Justus-Doesn't make it better
*It switches back to the fight.*
*Kai laughs as he looks at Mari.*
Kai- I fought many people over the years but no one could entertain me like you.
Kai- So take this as a thank you this amazing fight
Mari- What do you mean?
Kai- Allow me to show you the beauty of my Spirit Move.
Mari- Are you joking!?
*Kai points his sword as he starts chanting.*
Mari- (Crap he wasn't joking about his Spirit Move!?)
*Mari runs to try to stop it as Kai continues.*
Mari- Damn it, I'm too far.
*As the two lock eyes, Mari hears 'Angels Tear.'*
Mari- oh.
*In that instant Mari body disappears as a Pure light beam engulfs the area.*
*The crowds backs up as the beam almost reaches to them.*
Kai- May your soul be blessed.
*The beam disappears as Mari body is shown. His body being burnt as he lays on the ground.*
Mari- (I can't die. The light is there.)
*Mari hears a voice as the light gets closer.*
????- Not Yet.
*The light disappears as he seems to be pulled away into a dark room but it seems to different from the one he seen before.*
Mari- Where am I?
????- You're in the cross between life and death.
Mari- Who are you?
????- Haha! Can't you recognize us?
Mari- Us?
*The voice reveals itself as a huge crowd of people appear but they look familiar.*
Mari- Are you me?
????- I guess. You are all of us but we are not you.
Mari- What does that mean?
Mari's- You are us, you are Mari. But none of us can't be like you.
Mari's- Because you are special. You are the one to end this game once and for all.
Mari- Are you guys real, why are you guys here?
Mari's- You figure it out eventually because you are us.
*The room starts disappearing as Mari slowly falls like there is no gravity.*
Mari's- Go. You can't end here.
*All of them push Mari into the darkness.*
*Mari body gets up in the arena as the crowd roars.*
Kai- No way!? You still are up!
Mari- They told me to not end it here so I won't.
Mari- I have too much to lose.
*Mari body is shown to bloody as he struggles to breathe. His arms seem to burnt as he can barely walk, only being able to open one eye.*
Mari- I have been too much to stop now so even if it hurts I gotta do something!
Mari- (It's time to push past the limits. Move my Empath even if it hurts even if I gotta force them.)
Kai- (His Empath!? ITS INCREASING.)
Mari- (IGNORE THE PAIN. REMEMBER THE EMPATH FROM THE MOVE AND COPY IT.)
Kai- Are you insane!
*Switches to Justus and Forge.*
Justus- He's force making Empath to try to copy the attack!
Forge- But I thought he can't do that!
Justus- Seems like he ignoring the rules of his abilities.
*Back to Mari.*
Mari- (I CAN FEEL IT I REMEMBER THE PAIN IT DEALT!)
Kai- NO WAY HE MANAGE TO COPY IT!
Mari- (I can only hold for this 30 secs but that's all I need!)
*Mari screams as he holds his Axe into the air as he chants. All the crowd hearing as he screams out.*
Mari- Angels Tear.
*As he says that the beam strikes down on Kai, Mari holding the attack on him as the 30 secs end. We see Kai bloody as he stands watching Mari.*
Mari- (Damn I guess it wasn't enough.)
*Mari eyes slowly start closing as he drops to his knees but before he drops to the ground, he hears Kai speaking.*
Kai- Good Fight, this is the least you deserve.
Kai- I surrender.
*The crowd yells as the winner is announced as Mari.*
*Mari with a rush of excitement drops to the ground as he gets taken to the doctors.*
Justus- That's certainly was a fight.
Forge- Do we think we can top that?
Justus- Probably not, you're going to win too fast.
*Mari finally wakes up 12 hours later.*
Kai- Wakey Wakey
Mari- where am I?
Kai- Where do you think.
Mari- oh
Kai- That fight with you was an experience I could never replicate.
Mari- Thanks for the compliment.
Kai- I can sense you were fighting with your very life but why.
Kai- I have seen many things and those include death so why do you try so hard. What is your goal.
Mari- I don't have my own goal really. The path I'm on has been given to me.
Mari- I'm more doing this because of others. Like helping Forge out.

Mari- I don't know but so far I'm satisfied helping out others.
Kai- That ideals of yours is going to get you killed.
Mari- If so I will die knowing that I died for a good cause.
Mari- But I won't die just yet. Because even if fate decides that I won't follow the path it has made for me.
