*As Mari finishes the conversation his eyes light up with determination.*
Forge- Are you done now?
Justus- Yeah I'm sorry but we haven't seen his capabilities.
Mari- AHHH shut up!
*They laugh and head over to the hotel to sleep.*
*It's day time as it's now time for the semi finals.*
Mari- It's do or die.
Forge- I hate it when you guys say shit like that.
Justus- Enough. Mari your fight is first right.
*Mari breathes out as they walk out heading towards the arena.*
Mari- After I beat him, I'll make sure to win this entire thing.
Forge- Ha you're lucky if you can even touch me.
*It switches to Kai.*
Kai- Faye how strong is he?
Faye- He manage to catch that criminal off guard last time I saw him fight.
Kai- And how strong would you say that criminal is?
Faye- He managed to defeat the top 2 Valkyries squad at the scene. I'll put him higher than you.
Kai- Maybe this will be the fight that will allow me to use this!
*They are both seen walking up to arena as they spot each going face to face as the battle begins.*
*The fight starts with both rushing towards each other giving the other no time.*
Crowd- WOOHOO!
*The crowd roars as the two try to damage each other but each dodge or counter each other moves.*
Kai- Woah your longest anybody is this tournament has lasted!
Mari- Same goes for you!
Kai- Basic moves won't work I guess.
*As Kai says that he starts accelerating as starts charging against him, Mari strikes but suddenly his fist goes through him.*
Kai- Your eyes can't react?
*Suddenly Mari get punched from his back as he gets launched.*
Mari- How did you?
Kai- No time to talk.
*Mari sees him instantly infront of him as he sees his fist as he tries to put his guard up.*
Kai- Wrong way!
*Mari gets punched from behind again.*
Mari- Teleportation?
Mari- No it's something else.
*Kai charges his speed again as he once again tries to punch his face.*
Mari- Wow you can really see what it is when you really look at it.
*Mari leans back as Kai punches seems to fly above him inches from his face.*
Mari- An afterimage.
*Mari leaned back pushes his body up and uppercut Kai chin as Kai stumbles back.*
Kai- You manage to catch on quick.
Mari- I'm known to be a quick learner.
*Mari rushes as Kai guards but suddenly Kai feels a familiar feeling as he gets punched from behind.*
Kai- No way, you manage to recreate my afterimage punch?
Mari- It's not hard once you figure out the secret behind it.
Mari- All you did was accelerate to move so fast that your enemy wouldn't notice that you quickly turned behind the person while lowering your Empath to concede your energy and then release in one spot.
Kai- Sounds stupid in theory but you manage to copy and use my own punch on me!
*Kai eyes widen as the two move faster each punch tiring out the other as blood starts spilling.*
Mari- I don't like brawls like this.
*Kai rushes as Mari seems to charging his hand as he place it in-front of Kai face.*
*Mari using Fools Copy to make a blast and explodes it into Kai's face.*
Mari- Mindless brawls lead to reckless decisions.
*Kai gets up.*
Kai- I agree so let's fight using more civilized techniques.
*They both get into stances as Kai shows his arsenal of fighting skills and techniques he learned over time.*
Mari- Let's see who can do more damage to the other.
*Mari actives Fools Copy to active the 5x boost.*
*Kai having more experience, techniques and strategy starts to outclass Mari but Mari with 5x boost does not falter.*
Mari- (Damn each move he does is unpredictable whether it's a combo or a counter he has too many moves but they feel familiar.)
*Mari breathes in as stands there observing Kai.*
Mari-(Something about them, reminds me of masters lessons.)
*Kai stares at Mari as he jumps up into the air to do a move.*
Mari- (The position hes doing in the air.. It's Master high kick that means he gonna land there!)
*Mari quickly moves swiftly around near where Kai landed, at soon as Kai feet kicked the ground Mari appears crouching down and low kicking him.*
Kai- How did you know where I'll be most open?
Mari- Doesn't matter.
*Kai gets into another stance.*
Mari- (This one affects the ground below us but locks a fist for some time.)
*Kai punches the ground causing the terrain around to start cracking as it seems like an earthquake is happening but when he looks to Mari, he notices he's gone.*
*As Kai looks around he hears the wind blowing from above him as Mari jumped to Kai doing a high kick directly hitting the arm that's locked.*
Kai- Damn it.
Mari- I'm not done.
*Kai flinches as Mari grabs his head pushing his knee into his nose breaking it.*
*Kai tries more techniques but each one gets countered as Kai injuries start affecting him .*
Kai- Each one these moves are Valkyries made moves some only taught to high ranking ones. Where did you to counter them?
Mari- My master.
Kai- I'll love to meet him. Your strength is impressive so I'll use this weapon for you.
*Kai takes out a sword, the sword seems to pure white having purifying aura around it.
Mari- (This sword.... The Empath in it is higher than anything I've ever seen!)
*Mari tries to punch him as Kai blocks it deflecting it with his sword.*
Mari- (What is this sword made from! This is going to make this battle even harder, his Empath increased even more with it.)
Kai- This isn't a regular sword.
Kai- I'm assuming this is your first time seeing a Spirit Weapon?
Mari- A Spirit Weapon!
Crowd- THIS IS HIS LEGENDARY SWORD!!!
Crowd- I THOUGHT IT WAS FAKE!
*The crowd cheers as the Mari starts to feel nervous, the pure presence of the sword shakes him up.*
Kai- If you're lucky I'll show you its Spirit Move.
Mari- (I was struggling fighting him with just his fist but now he got a spirit weapon and move!?)
*Mari feeling the pressure around him suddenly feels lightheaded as the boost ended.*
Mari- (I thought things couldn't get worse, I been putting Empath in it to make it last longer, thats the only reason I been able to react and deal damage.)
Kai- What happened? Was all that talk from before just false?
*It switches to Justus and Forge.*
Justus- The Empath radiating is too much for his condition right now.
Forge- This man isn't the strongest Valkyrie currently for no reason.
Justus- Damn it, we should have planned more for this.
Forge- No one could have predicted that he was going to use his sword.
Justus- But speaking about that sword...
Justus- That design it's so angelic.
Forge- Your right the material seems to be tough enough to tank a punch from Mari but everything about it.
Justus- Spirit Weapons are weapons that have Empath pushed into but they also need to be able to withstand the Empath implanted into the weapon.
Forge- Do you have any theories on what it's made from?
Justus- From the pressure and aura of it, it most likely relates to Light/Pure type energy.
Forge- But that would mean.....it's from that race.
Justus- Exactly, but unless he shows us we don't know.
*Switches to Azrael.*
Azrael- I had high hopes for this kid and all.
Jessie- I wanted to be the one to kill him.
Azrael- Now now you know he was my prey.
Azrael- I wonder what's going to unfold.
*Tyrese walks into the room.
Tyrese- Sir I'm sorry to interrupt but when are we leaving?
Azrael- Soon I'm sorry but this tournament caught my eye and I can't get enough.
Azrael- And why are you in such a rush to leave in the first place?
*Azrael looks at Tyrese with a sharp gaze.*
Tyrese- I'm sorry but I just wanted to know.
Azrael- You will know when I'll tell you.
Azrael- Now leave.
*Tyrese leaves the room.*
Tyrese- That man does too much, he should atleast show his face if he's going to talk to us that way.
Tyrese- I wonder what he looks like for Jessie to talk about him like that?
Tyrese- I could be at the top if only I was older and not stuck being a human, I wish I was a special race like my brother.
Tyrese- I swear I'm going to kill that man and then kill my brother.
*We go back to Mari.*
Mari- It doesn't matter.
Kai- Wow still bold!
Mari- I can't lose like I said I have goal and a promise to keep so let's continue.
*Both with a stern look in their eyes stare as they get into fighting position.*
