Faye- Yeah, beside I know this meeting is important.
Kai- Of course it's important, you're meeting the Royals of this kingdom.
Faye- So where are they?
Kai- The upper floor of Royal Castle.
*They start walking away to the meeting.*
*As they walk through the town they meet at the middle of it where stand infront of them is the Royal Castle where the Royals reside in.*
Faye- How haven't I notice this castle!?
Kai- It's because the tournament where we were at is at the side that doesn't show the castle. Now enough talking they are waiting.
*Faye and Kai enter the castle as they see the most lavish interior as each item looks like it cost a fortune.*
Faye- (Looks like they didn't waste a drop of the taxes.)
*They walk through the halls going towards the stairs as an ominous feels goes through Faye body when they go past a door.*
Faye- Kai what's over there..
*Chills goes down her spines as she looks closer at the door. The door has a dark aura around it contrary to the rest of the Castle which has a very bright feel to it.*
Kai- That's a private room. It's wise to drop the subject at once.
Faye- Fine.
Faye- (Something is behind that door. But I can't tell just yet.)
*They make their way up the stairs where they see the door for the meeting.*
Kai- It's time make sure to be on your best behavior.
Faye- Don't treat me like that.
*At soon as they enter the room, Faye senses tells her that they are not normal.*
*Faye bows her head at soon as she enters.*
Kai- Welcome Your Majesties.
King Of Clubs- My My So this is the person who brought that mystery killer to our attention?
Queen Of Clubs- So young~ The things I could do with someone as young and fresh as you.
*Faye raises her head as she sees the King and Queen.*
*The King appearances is that of a man of ages of 50-60 years old having long wild gray hair and a gray beard having a muscular bulky build. Yellow eyes with a formal outfit and standing at a tall height of 40 foot.*
*The Queen seems to young looking having long straight black hair seeming to be in her mid 20s to early 30s and having a black dress with red eyes and young figure with skin looking clear but patchy like it pieced together on her.*
Jack of Clubs- Your Majesties I'm sorry but can we proceed with the following meeting.
*The Jack of Clubs seems to be in his 40s with black hair with slight gray hairs that's slicked back and having a few wrinkles with a big build similar to the king.*
Jack of Clubs- Since the Ace is not arriving we will start now.
Queen of Clubs- But Jack we already have a match scheduled up. Might as well make her watch it with us.
*Kai looks at Faye as they walk closer to see what they are talking about*
*Kai whispers to Faye as they sit.*
Kai- I'm sorry prepare yourself...
*She takes the advice as she sees two bloody bruised men fighting with their fist to death.*
Faye- (What is this..)
Queen Of Clubs- What a Delight!
*Faye watches as she sees the Royals stare with gleam and laugh.*
Faye- (They are insane! They are even worse than I thought.)
*Faye takes a closer look and realizes that the men are people she trained with, but disappeared after a mission they got sent too.*
Faye- (I was sure they died in that mission! Have they been here the entire time fighting to survive.)
*The laughter gets loud as the men struggle more and more trying to survive, the longer it goes the more gruesome it gets.*
*After some time the battle ends and one of them has to face the dead body of the man they just killed.*
*The Queen shouts at them.*
Queen- What a fun match! Atleast you got your dinner for tonight.*
*The Queen points at the dead body as the man shivers and cries on the ground.*
Queen- Cmon eat up now you dog.
*The man crawls to the body as he's force to eat for their pleasure.*
Faye- Your majesty pardon for my inconvenience but can you explain to me the reason for their punishment?
The Queen- It's because we were bored and they seemed like good play toys.
Faye- (Oh my they are worse then I thought. I can't let others go through this... Something has to change.)
The King- Anyhow Faye since you brought this dangerous traitor to our attention we have gotten you a reward.
*Faye turns to look still shaken up at what she witnessed as she can barely speak.*
Faye- t-thank your majesty.
*The royals take out a chest containing a pair of white wings.*
Faye- Oh my what is this gift you have given me?
Jack- It's a replicated version of the wings from the Highborn race.
*Kai faces tenses as he hears that as he looks foward.*
Faye- Wow but I thought the Highborns were extinct?
The King- We have our connections remember who we are now!
*The Royals laugh as they give Faye it and explains what it can do.*
Jack- The Wings can help you float and with enough Empath put into it you can speed up to soar through the skies but remember not to fly close to the sun!
*They hand it and Kai escorts Faye back being quiet the entire time.*
The King- She's one of them..
The Queen- Are you sure?
The King- Positive. She's a target that the clown told us about 80 years ago...
*While walking out Faye sees the door and from the corner of her eye. She senses something moving as she spots an eye staring at her.*
*Kai walks up to the door making sure it's fully closed.*
Kai-....
*After leaving the castle they walk back to the inn where they are staying at.
Kai- After the tournament we are going back.
*Faye still surprised looks at him and decides it's for the best.*
Kai- When we go back I have a job for you.
(It flashes to Mari and Justus.)
Mari- Looks like you and me got randoms.
Justus- It's not like our fights can top theirs regardless.
Mari- Get ready when you win you gotta fight Forge.
Justus- And you got Kai, the ace of the Valkyries.
Mari- Where is Forge anyways.
Justus- Training for the next battles, he was complaining how close the last one was.
Mari- But another tarot card awakened so it ought to be nice to be her ally.
Justus- She doesn't seem mean so it's worth a shot and good luck.
Mari- Good luck.
*Justus and Mari move to their respective areas as they get ready.*
*Mari Battle.*
Mari- I expected more stronger opponents but Kai seems strong so I better finish this one quick.
Opponent- Your the kid who manage to beat his opponents in 10 secs but I'm differe-
*Mari suddenly kicks him in the chest as he goes flying across the arena. Mari runs to him as he going across and grabs his head slamming it to the ground.*
Mari- Huh sorry I couldn't hear you.
*Mari wins advancing to the semi finals.*
*Justus Battle.*
Justus- Forge is scary let's hope I can win.
Opponent- Kinda small aren't you.
Justus- huh.
*The battle starts off with Justus walking towards him as the guy starts swinging at him as Justus future sight tells him each move as he dodging them with quick succession.*
Justus- Cmon atleast hit me.
*As the enemy keeps moving Justus sees a blind spot as quickly strikes it making the man drop to his knees as he stares up at Justus who's looking down into his eyes.*
Justus- Woah this ability is helpful.
*Justus senses a huge amount of Empath as the man charges it all to one attack.*
Justus- (I don't think my future sight is in an effect here. So this is what he meant.*
Justus- 5 Secs into the Future.
*Time freezes as Justus gets a vision showing him 5 secs ahead of time where he sees the attack and where it lands.*
*The vision ends and Justus dodges the attacks thanks to it as he hears something.*
*55 Secs Left.*
Justus-( Atleast it recharges)
*Justus stares as his enemy who died due to running out of Empath.*
Justus- Semi Finals time. I wonder who will win the next match.
*Mari and the others go to where they are staying when they meet Kai.*
Kai- Semi Finals... This is where we all have to go all out.
Mari- Of course now. But I'm not going to lose we have a goal and to achieve it, I will win.
Kai- Don't talk all big just to lose now.
Kai- But if you're going to act all that then I might have to beat you until you have no confidence to even stand.
*Kai and Mari go face to face looking at each other with killing intent as Justus calls Mari away.*
Justus- Way to start a problem.
Forge- Mari is right though. He's our biggest threat and if all we need to beat him to challenge the Jack then let's beat him quick.
Forge- But even with our confidence I can tell he isn't a weak fighter. Mari I believe you are strong but be careful for this battle.
Mari- Got you I understand the risk ahead but we can't stop here I'll fight past my body limitations.
*Mari looks forward with determination.*
