Chapter 12 - 12. "Does 'not closed' mean it's open? "

The next day, Flo headed to the entrance exam, rubbing her sore waist.

But why was Flo taking the exam today when it was originally scheduled for next month?

The reason was simple.

Flo: "Sui Sui, you're sure that as long as I pass the talent exam early, I won't have to take the written test, right?"

[Of course, meow! Not only will you be exempt from the written exam, but you'll also receive 20 bonus points!]

Flo had just spent 10 life points to extend her survival by a week, leaving her with a current balance of 80 points.

Flo: "Yay! (ˊ˘ˋ*)♡"

That's right—the exam originally scheduled for next month was the written test.

However, if she could pass the talent exam, she wouldn't need to take the written exam next month at all; she could enroll directly.

This "talent" referred specifically to combat specialization. If you demonstrated proficiency in combat, you'd be exempt from the written test and admitted immediately—essentially, early acceptance.

At first, Flo felt helpless—after all, she couldn't use magic.

As for her tentacles... well, honestly, they were only useful during *bedroom battles*.

She definitely didn't look like someone who could pass a combat exam.

But today was different!

"Nini, let's go!"

"Coming, Master! ⁽⁽ଘ( ˙꒳˙ )ଓ⁾⁾"

Nikolim transformed into a tiny, colorful slime and perched on top of Flo's head.

With Nikolim's power, Flo was confident she could pass the exam.

She really didn't want to wait for the written test—

because...

Flo: "I absolutely, positively do NOT want to study anymore! X﹏X"

♡♡♡

The exam was held inside the academy and consisted of two parts.

The first part required placing your hand on a crystal ball to test your magical affinity.

For example, fire affinity would glow orange-red, water affinity would glow blue, and multiple affinities would show alternating colors.

If someone like Flo—who couldn't use magic—placed their hand on it, the ball would remain transparent, indicating no magical affinity.

Naturally, such candidates would be disqualified.

But Flo no longer had to worry!

When it was her turn, Flo had already instructed Nini to hide inside her body. She stepped up to the crystal ball.

"Nini..." Flo whispered softly.

"Leave it to me!"

Nikolim fused her magical affinity with Flo's body.

The crystal ball lit up with a brilliant azure glow.

Flo's final result: Water affinity.

"Passed! ≧▽≦"

Flo skipped cheerfully to the second exam venue.

The second test assessed magical power.

No matter the method, as long as you could destroy the large boulder in front of you, you'd pass—the score depended on the degree of destruction.

For Flo—or rather, for Nikolim—this was child's play.

Flo gently placed her hand on the boulder.

Nikolim channeled magic through the slime gel on Flo's hand into the stone.

Soon, the boulder became encased in shimmering violet crystals.

Flo waited patiently for about two minutes.

"All done, Master! The inside is completely shattered," Nikolim's voice echoed in her mind.

Flo lightly tapped the crystallized boulder with one of her tentacles.

Both the boulder and the violet crystals crumbled instantly into fine powder.

Completed!

Now came the final evaluation.

"Applicant name: Flo."

"Final score: Full marks—passed."

Flo: "Yay! (-^〇^-)"

Alongside the academy examiner's verdict, a system notification also chimed in.

[Ding-dong!]

[Congratulations! You've secured early admission!]

[Reward: 20 points.]

[Current balance: 100 points.]

[Achievement unlocked: "Shameless Cheater"—bonus reward: 25 points.]

[Current balance: 125 points.]

Flo: "Hey! What do you mean, 'Shameless Cheater'? 'Not closed' means it's open? Don't go accusing me unfairly! Right, Nini?"

Nikolim: "Right! ₍˄·͈༝·͈˄*₎◞ ̑̑"

Flo: "Love you! (ɔˆз(ˆ⌣ˆc)"

Flo cradled the colorful slime in her palms and kissed her over and over.

But as she kept kissing, she spotted a familiar figure.

"Eh? Ilika...?"

A white-haired, blue-eyed tentacle girl in a Japanese school uniform (JK outfit), with a katana sheathed at her waist, stood right there in the exam queue.
