LÉRNIAS – DISEMBARKATION
- Students! Disembark in an orderly manner, please!
- Wait in the disembarkation hall and don't make a mess!
The instructors called out to the students, who formed lines to leave the train. One by one, the compartments were emptied. It was already late at night, and from that point on, they would continue on foot to the port area, which was only a few minutes away.
Evo, the last to leave, took a deep breath of fresh air. Honestly, two days in the same place were already enough to make him restless; to him, it felt suffocating. And now it would only get worse — nine more days at sea awaited him.
He ran a hand through his hair, resigned, eager to arrive.
- Nine more days trapped in one place… I just hope the ship is spacious.
Evo looked around and could already see some students heading toward the port.
- Well, I guess I'll start walking too!
And so, he walked alone in the same direction as the others. The port was already visible; all they had to do was follow a long, wide road whose end led straight to it. From afar, the lights of several ships could be seen, along with their horns echoing through the night.
After a few minutes of walking, Evo and some other students arrived at the boarding area. It was a vast, open space, and farther back, several bars and restaurants could be seen. Something immediately caught Evo's attention.
- There are so many races in this area!
Standing there, he saw elves, dwarves, and beastmen moving between bars and restaurants. It made sense — Lérnias was a major trade city, where many races came to deliver their goods. It wasn't anything strange.
Of course, some races never set foot there, each for their own reasons. First, the dragons — selfish beings who only cared about themselves. And lastly, the demons. Well, those didn't even need an explanation: a bunch of troublesome gangster types who only thought about destruction. Aside from that, everyone else could be found there.
Up ahead, Evo spotted the students who had arrived with him — and others who had arrived later — heading toward a massive ship anchored ahead. A guard stood ready at the boarding ramp, waiting for the instructors, who arrived shortly after.
- Alright! Everyone, one by one, line up!
The instructors, now present, called out to the students, who began walking toward the boarding ramp.
Evo simply shrugged and joined the line, boarding the ship.
3 DAYS LATER
Three days had passed since he boarded the ship. And at that moment… he was fast asleep, practically drooling like a child as he curled up against his pillow.
Suddenly, a small tapping sound against glass pulled him from his sleep.
Tuc! Tuc!
- Hm…!
His eyes opened slowly, his vision still blurry.
- Is it morning already?
- Uhaaafff!
He yawned as he sat up, rubbing his eyes. Then he turned toward the round window to his left, where a small bird was perched.
Tuc! Tuc!
The little creature pecked at the glass, as if ordering Evo to get up. Watching the scene, Evo gave a faint smile.
- You're the one who woke me up, you little brat, aren't you?
He muttered as he got dressed. Once ready, he left his room and headed toward the buffet to have breakfast.
His stomach growled, demanding food. Evo made a face and kept walking.
Before reaching the dining hall, he came across a stunning elven woman — a true milf. Her long, straight golden hair flowed down to her hips, her ocean-blue eyes brimmed with charm, and those luscious lips… they made one want to bite them.
Evo stared for a moment, dazed, but soon forced himself out of his stupor and walked toward her.
- Good morning, Elizabeth!
He spoke softly and calmly, without using any honorific titles, as if they were close. The elf, who had been watching the students below in the dining hall, was pulled from her thoughts by that sweet, poisonous voice in her ears.
Slightly startled, she turned around and found Evo standing before her.
The young man, standing so close, looked at her gently. Sinful thoughts rushed back into her mind, and she tried to push them away again. But who could blame her? The way he smiled was so warm that her heart began to race. His face, still marked by sleep, only made him more charming, especially with those sleepy golden eyes.
- Good morning, Evo! Did you sleep well?
She gave a small smile. Evo returned it and nodded.
- Mm! I did, my beautiful elf. And you?
Her heart started beating faster at that honeyed voice praising her. Her cheeks flushed, and she became clumsy.
- Y-y-yes… I did! Thank you… for asking!
Her voice wavered as her mind spiraled.
- Beautiful? Me?
- No, no, no! What am I thinking?!
- He's your student, you slut! Stop thinking nonsense!
Elizabeth shook her head fiercely while Evo watched her with an amused smile. It was obvious — he was enjoying this far too much.
- Hehehe… how cute.
Deciding to stop tormenting the poor woman, he moved on. He was starving. He walked toward the entrance of the dining hall, passing by the elf, who watched him approach.
Evo gently ran his hand through her smooth hair and placed a kiss on her forehead.
- I have to go now. See you later, Instructor Elizabeth!
He headed toward the buffet, leaving the poor elf frozen in place, her mind racing. She had never expected such a bold move from that shameless young man.
Evo was truly shameless.
- My God… what the hell is happening to me?
Leaving Elizabeth behind, Evo reached the buffet, prepared his breakfast plate, and sat at a table farther away, gazing out at the sea. Thinking about it, he didn't find it so bad to stay there for a few days. He was enjoying himself. He felt comfortable in that place.
As he ate, he brought a small snack to his mouth.
BOOM!
The ship rocked violently from the impact, as if something incredibly heavy had slammed into it.
- Ahhh!
- What was that?!
Several students panicked. Chairs and tables toppled over, sending cups and utensils flying everywhere.
Evo stood up immediately and rushed outside toward where the collision had occurred. What he saw made his eyes widen.
In the sea before him was something enormous — a colossal creature covered in crystalline scales of blue and green. It stared at him as if he were a delicious piece of meat.
The instructors arrived at his side.
- Evo! What was that—
Elizabeth, who had arrived moments later, followed Evo's gaze… and her eyes widened.
- A-a sea serpent!
Evo, on the other hand…
He was smiling.
His eyes gleamed with excitement. A sadistic, cruel smile spread across his face — enough that even the creature itself felt, if only slightly, threatened.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
The roar was so powerful that nearby chairs and tables were hurled into the air like paper.
- Hahahaha… you're excited, aren't you?… You sea worm!
