After all, Shimura Danzō operated in the shadows.
Unlike the Third Hokage, he wasn't under public scrutiny.
His Root organization was shrouded in secrecy, bound by his 'Curse Mark of Absolute Obedience.'
If Danzō had fallen under Kotoamatsukami, it wouldn't have been a light mental shift like with the Hokage...it would be total control, just like Uchiha Fugaku.
That would mean Root itself would be under their command.
Still, there would be other opportunities. Until Danzō.....the root of countless troubles.....was either controlled or eliminated, Uchiha Arata wouldn't be able to sleep soundly.
He comforted Shisui with a calm voice.
"It's fine. As long as the Third Hokage's attitude toward our clan changes, even if Danzō tries to move against us, the Hokage will stop him.
After all, he's still the leader of Konoha.....what he says goes."
"As for Danzō, we'll deal with him later. If we approach him too often now, he'll definitely grow suspicious."
Shisui nodded in agreement.
"Then our plan is more than halfway complete.
As long as nothing major happens, our Uchiha clan should be able to coexist peacefully with the village."

Hearing that, Shisui fell silent. Fugaku was Itachi's father, and Shisui had always seen Itachi as his own younger brother.
Now his dearest friend had taken control of that brother's father.....it left his kind heart deeply conflicted.
Of course, Arata understood Shisui's temperament.
Not giving him time to hesitate, he spoke directly.
"Shisui, there's one more crucial task I need your help with.

His heartbeat gradually calmed, and he raised an eyebrow, gesturing for Arata to continue.
Seeing that he hadn't startled Shisui at all, Arata frowned in mock annoyance.
"Come on, Shisui, at least act surprised. I literally just told you to die.....aren't you even a little scared? What's with that calm face?"
Shisui chuckled softly at Arata's exasperation.
"I know you too well. You're trying to mess with me again. I believe in you.
Even if you were to destroy the village, you'd never kill me."
Arata pouted slightly, unsatisfied, and began to explain.
"Alright, alright, you got me. I have a plan that needs your cooperation.
If we pull this off, the Uchiha will finally turn the tables and seize control of our fate."
Shisui nodded firmly. "Alright, tell me what to do."
Arata leaned in and continued.
"The Third Hokage already knows you've awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.
So, what if more people find out? Considering Danzō's hatred of our clan and his greed for Sharingan… if he learns that you possess a Mangekyō Sharingan, what do you think he'll do?"
Shisui's eyes narrowed as he followed the thought.
"Knowing Danzō, he'd either try to recruit me.....or, more likely, kill me when I least expect it and steal my eyes.
But since he knows I'm close to the Third Hokage, it's far more probable that he'll choose the latter."
