#4036. The Time-Space Disruptor
After settling all the trivial matters, Wang Ya put on a proper suit and prepared to give an impromptu speech to motivate the employees of SCP Technology Co., Ltd.
With the completion of its mission, SCP Technology Co., Ltd. has reached a certain scale and needs to be divided into departments in detail.
For now, there are only the technology department, human resources department, finance department, marketing department, and security department.
There will definitely be more detailed divisions later, and Wang Ya has been gradually preparing to do these things. However, some minor troubles that are approaching also need to be resolved in order to further expand the influence of the SCP Foundation.
As for the real SCP Foundation operating behind the scenes, it doesn't yet have the capital to build one.
They would need to wait until Wang Ya had a basic grasp of the entire slum before they would have the resources to begin construction.
However, that underground base will be an important place in the future, otherwise Wang Ya would not have left the only chance of the teleportation pool there.
Everything was proceeding as planned, but a sudden system notification surprised him so much that he had to stop his upcoming speech.
We're back in our newly renovated room!
With a thought, Wang Ya placed the system notification in the void in front of him and examined it carefully.
[Space-Time Anomaly Crisis! Warning!!]
[Since SCP objects do not exist in this world, as you, as the source, manifest more objects into the world, spacetime will become abnormal. Each time an anomaly is reached, people or things from other spacetime worlds will be replaced in this world.]
[There is already one person with a disrupted timeline]
Location: Gotham City!
[information:???]
Wang Ya's expression was somewhat grim. He hadn't expected things to turn out this way. The manifestation of the containment object would cause spacetime chaos, affecting people from other spacetime worlds who were coming to this world.
Furthermore, there is already a time-space disorderer, so who could it be, and who is still in Gotham City?
It seems it's still my own fault, and I guess I have to solve my own problems.
Perhaps influenced by Wang Ya's sense of responsibility and commitment, the manifestation system has undergone new changes.
[Containment mission initiated!]
As the originator of the SCP Foundation, you feel uneasy and responsible because the creation of the spacetime disruptors is closely related to you. You are determined to prevent this world from being affected by too much chaos, and in accordance with your principles of "we control, we contain, we protect," you will control and contain the spacetime disruptors.
[Reward: One randomly selected team—Mobile Task Force (Number of members: 2)]
Wang Ya's pupils contracted, then he was filled with surprise. He had only made up his mind, but he never expected to trigger a mission, a mobile task force. Although it was randomly selected, it would bring Wang Ya's SCP Foundation one step closer to being truly built, and would also provide Wang Ya with great assistance.
It seems that recent plans and tasks need to be put on hold. This matter has completely disrupted Wang Ya's plans. It is necessary to mobilize the forces of the Landon Group to investigate whether anything unusual has happened recently.
The matter concerns those who disrupt spacetime, and this issue has become of paramount importance.
Meanwhile, the slums also need to resolve those minor troubles as soon as possible. Although they pose no real threat, they are quite annoying, buzzing around your ears like flies.
"It's time to take back Hank District, and we also need to complete the transformation of Blue District in the next few days."
Wang Ya didn't want to see those homeless people lying on the street or searching for food in garbage dumps for even a moment longer.
Decadence, despair, laziness, darkness, and chaos—this is the current state of affairs in the Brussels district.
SCP Technology Co., Ltd.'s base is located in the Blue District. Now that the initial construction is complete, the next focus is on transforming the environment and culture of the Blue District.
It's unbearable to imagine that there's excrement, garbage, filth, and decay everywhere on your own turf!
Wang Ya wanted to ensure that within three days, she would never see a homeless person lying on a street corner again, nor did she want a scavenger to search for food in a garbage dump.
Labor! Only labor can bring about a complete transformation and change to the Blue District.
And we want those homeless and scavenging people who are deeply rooted in despair and decadence to get them to work and change their lives.
We must give them hope, but before this, no one or any force had ever been willing to give them hope because it was meaningless and worthless.
But Wang Ya's SCP Technology Co., Ltd. was willing to give them such hope.
And that hope was the almost omnipotent Franklin, and dollars!!!
If labor is equated with Franklin, Wang Ya doesn't believe that the scavengers and vagrants won't change. They just didn't have an opportunity before, but now Wang Ya has presented that opportunity to them.
Desire drives people mad, but today Wang Ya will use US dollars to ignite their hope, letting the red sparks temporarily glimmer in the Blue District!
Let's start with cleaning!
Wang Ya didn't want to see his territory filled with a stench and filth; that would be just too much...
By providing these homeless people on the streets with tools and then using Franklin to motivate them to work, the sanitation problem was initially solved.
The next step was to build public toilets, clean drainage ditches, and renovate and rebuild houses.
With a home comes hope. During this time, they exchanged labor for Franklin and food, but it wasn't a gift. Although the houses were built for themselves, they also had to pay Wang Ya, who was essentially SCP Technology Co., Ltd., a monthly mortgage payment for twelve installments, which was expected to be paid off in a year. Each installment of the mortgage was exactly one-third of the wages they earned from their hard work.
This is one aspect of Wang Ya's Bulu District redevelopment plan.
The remaining issue is about the garbage dumps. The western suburbs of Blue District have become a scene of mountains of garbage, a practice by some so-called bosses to save money.
The environment there is terrible, extremely terrible, yet some people still live there, and have even built houses in the garbage dump, where they live their entire lives.
They are scavengers, a huge group completely disconnected from society, spending almost their entire lives in it, and even forming their own small society.
A society mired in garbage—what an incredibly ironic outcome.
But the garbage mountain has been there for who knows how long, and as time goes by, the amount of garbage is increasing, gradually taking up at least one-tenth of the area in the Blue District. Wang Ya must deal with this rather troublesome mess as soon as possible.
This will be an incredibly long process.
But Blue District is our own territory, and we must solve these problems.
But Wang Ya is confident that although one thing after another has happened recently, Wang Ya has not come away empty-handed!
For example, three missions have already been triggered at this stage. In addition to the containment mission of the time-space disorderers, there are two other missions, one related to the transformation of the Blue area and the other related to the troubles in the Hank area.
In short, Wang Ya is going to be very busy!
