Luca sat in his chair, turning the divine letter over in his hands, marveling at its impossible nature.
This piece of paper, delivered by a goddess through a portal, was technically a heavenly artifact.
He tested its durability experimentally—tugging at a corner, trying to tear it.
It wouldn't budge. Not a single fiber gave way.
'This could actually be useful.' He mused. 'Indestructible paper from the heavens. I could write unbreakable contracts on this, or—'
"Luca?" Luna's voice drifted through the window, tinged with concern. "Are you alright? You went silent all of a sudden. Is everything alright inside?"
He snapped back to reality.
"I'm fine, Luna! I'll be out in just a second!"
He stood as he realised that he had to face Luna.
The same Luna who had just bared her soul and her body to him, who was probably standing outside confused and cold and wondering what the hell was going on.
And he had to explain...something. At least enough to make her understand.
