Chapter 12 - Recruit

The team's first target was an Asona, Makeri Davu, the Firma Umakhi (Dimensional Architect). Makeri's Unique class gave him the power to manipulate Tojo not just as script, but as the underlying geometric, dimensional code of Aye itself.

They found him not in a typical Asona workshop, but high above the capital, working on stabilizing the magnetic levitation fields for the Imperial transport system—a project deemed 'impossible' by the elite Asonas.

Makeri Davu was focused, his body clad in sensor arrays that constantly mapped the dimensional stress points around him. His face was etched with concentration, constantly calculating the necessary Ase flow.

"Makeri," Bura called out, stepping onto the stabilization platform. "We have a structural integrity problem that requires your unique synthesis of geometry and spirit."

Makeri didn't look up, but his voice, though calm, held the irritation of an artist whose concentration was broken. "I am busy, Sir. The calculations for this magnetic field are already corrupted by approximately 0.003% entropic noise. One bad equation, and the entire high-speed network turns into scrap metal."

"That entropic noise is Iku," Nefre Dolo stated, stepping forward. As an expert in material structure, she bypassed the usual pleasantries. "The Kifofirists are leveraging the metaphysical rot to introduce subtle structural failure across Diala land."

Nefre presented the Obuasiite crystals and the complex schematics she and Bura had prepared. "I need to perform a Geo-Ase Anchoring operation across the Osu desert to stabilize the land before the Kifofirists trigger a seismic event. I know the material science, the Ase displacement, and the structural load. But I don't have the Asona power, talkless of the Firma Umakhi power to rapidly etch the necessary, dimensional Tojo templates into the bedrock."

Makeri finally turned, intrigued by the precision of Nefre's problem. "You wish me to write a massive, anti-entropic equation directly into the world's foundation!?"

"We wish you to code the counter-narrative into the ground," Bura said. "Your Tojo is not just art, Makeri. It is the syntax of Aye. We need you to write the word 'stability' so perfectly that Iku cannot delete it."

Makeri studied the Obuasiite and the Saffirine pigment. His mind, the ultimate human geometric processing unit, was already solving the problem.

"The work is beautiful," Makeri said, referring to Nefre's calculations. "But writing it requires a nexus point—a place where the Ase is so concentrated that the Tojo can be engraved with global authority."

"The Dragon Belt," Libaax suggested. "the area is rich in raw, elemental Ase."

Makeri nodded slowly, using an imaginary hand to stroke the nonexistent beards of his chin. "Precisely. But such an engraving requires speed. If the Kifofirists detect this immense structural effort, they will flood the area with a massive Iku wave to collapse the field while I'm working."

"That is why we need the others," Bura asserted. "We need a tactical shield and a metaphysical shield."

"Fine," Makeri decided, his Asona sense of structural duty overriding his caution. "I will prepare the final, dimensional Tojo equations. But I need two things before we leave for the Dragon Belt."

"I require a guaranteed logistical pathway through the frontlines to protect the etching tools. I need a tactical planner who understands the movement of forces—both human and Mufarikha."

"I require a powerful counter-force to the Iku wave. I need someone who can generate a pure, overwhelming shield of life-Ase."

"You ask for the Agha Astrastra (Arsenal Avatar) and the Nyirakuru (Ancestral Mother)," Bura said with a grim smile. "We shall fetch them."
