Diegesis-noir is a brand new genre, focusing on the grimness of the lives of characters that know they're in a script. Asides from this grim, the 'noir' in Diegesis-noir also references the afroness of the world of the stories.
 Diegesis-noir is created with the goal of being a Pan-African counterpart to European S&S and East Asian Wuxia/Xianxia fantasies.

Humans in Aye are entirely racially black. Diversity of humans is through rich phenotypes. These are the phenotypes and what they look like.

3. Consanguine: brown wooly hair, hazel iris, caramel skin tone.


4. Saffron: black wooly hair, brown iris, ripe pawpaw skin tone.


5. Sanguine: red wooly hair, green iris, red clay skin tone with heavy freckling.


6. Albino: blonde wooly hair, blue iris, pale white skin tone.
