A familiar voice came from beside the palace gates
it was Champa, the one who fled the fastest at the beginning!
Champa stood next to Vados: one was a fat, pig-like cat; the other, a tall and elegant mature beauty

Seeing that Vados was still here, Whis wasn't surprised at all.
He nodded politely to his elder sister.
Eight years ago, after losing to Whis for the first time, Vados still refused to look at this annoying little brother.
Whis smiled faintly.
His elder sister really could hold a grudge.
"You didn't run?"
When Beerus saw that Champa hadn't actually left, a warm feeling brushed his heart.
He thought this dead fat pig had truly abandoned him.
"I'm talking to you—what did the Grand Priest want with you?!"
Champa walked over, avoiding eye contact.
How could he really have run away?
"It's nothing. He just told me to properly train Gran."
"Really?"

Not giving Champa a chance to react, Beerus signaled Whis to take them back to Universe 7.
He was anxious to return and make sure nothing at home had been stolen.
Only Vados and Champa remained.
Vados covered her mouth and giggled.
"I didn't expect Lord Champa to care so much about Lord Beerus. Your brotherly bond is truly touching."
To be exposed on the spot

Eyes shut tight, the Old Supreme Kai cried out repeatedly,
"Lord Beerus, I wasn't trying to insult you! It was all this junior's idea!"

Shin, also closing his eyes, trembled violently.
Ancestor… do you even hear what you're saying?
"Lord Supreme Kai, it's me!"
It was Gran.
Seeing the two Kais hugging, and recalling what the Old Supreme Kai had just shouted,
he instantly understood what the old man had been doing
Scolding Beerus.
"You brat?!"

Realizing it was Gran, he immediately shoved Shin aside and said with perfect seriousness:
"Well… you're young. If Lord Beerus hits you, you'll recover fast."

"Ahem… anyway, Gran, I saw everything you did."
The Old Supreme Kai cleared his throat twice.
"Excellent work. Truly worthy of being Universe 7's candidate for God of Destruction."
Gran remained calm.
"You flatter me, Lord Supreme Kai. He was just trash."
"No."
The Old Supreme Kai clasped his hands behind his back.
His expression turned serious.
"That guy was anything but weak."
"Oh?"
"A Divine Realm Third Stage warrior—how could that be weak? If he were in Universe 7, he'd absolutely be the strongest mortal!"
The Old Supreme Kai's tone carried helpless frustration.
Universe 7's Destroyer was the strongest.
Its Angel was the most gifted.
And including him, this generation even had six Supreme Kai.
There was even Earth's mysterious angel and the trainee angel Merus…
By all logic, Universe 7 should have been overwhelmingly strong.

Even if his pure power fell short, with his divine dimension and insight,
Gran could kill that opponent with ease.
"By the way, do you know where that guy you fought came from?" the Old Supreme Kai asked.
There was no such fighter in Universe 7—
he must have come from another universe.
"Lord Supreme Kai, take a look."
Gran threw something toward the ground.

A purple cube descended.
"This is… the Universe Warp Cube!!"
The Old Supreme Kai shot to his feet.
"What's that?" Shin asked, touching it curiously.
"The Universe Warp Cube is the fastest transport in all of Zeno's multiverse.
Not even angels can outrun it!"
The Old Supreme Kai examined it closely.
"And only angels possess it!"
Just as he suspected
that pitch-black guy truly came from another universe… and was connected to a Destroyer.
"Lord Supreme Kai, he came from Universe 4."
Gran lowered his voice and recounted how he had probed Orma during the fight.
His words echoed through the Sacred World.
The Old Supreme Kai's pupils constricted.
"That damned rat?!"
If any Destroyer hated Beerus the most in the entire multiverse,
it was Universe 4's Quitela.
And now that rat had actually sent someone into Universe 7 to cause trouble?!
Not knowing new developments, the Old Supreme Kai assumed
This was likely because Universe 7's Mortal Level had skyrocketed recently.
They really couldn't stand seeing Universe 7 improve, could they?
"How dare he?!"
The Old Supreme Kai gritted his teeth.
"Where's Beerus? Does he know about this?"
He had already known Beerus and Gran went to Earth.
Those two fought almost daily—
their clashes were impossible to miss.
"Lord Supreme Kai, you don't know yet?"
Gran realized the Kais were completely unaware, so he explained:
"Today, Lord Zeno convened a Destroyer Meeting. All the Destroyers are at Zeno's Palace right now."

The Old Supreme Kai nearly fainted.

"Has Lord Zeno started another hide-and-seek game?!"

"Not sure. We'll have to wait for Lord Beerus to return," Gran said.
"Damn it!"
The Old Supreme Kai grew frantic.
Just what happened?!
"No! That rat dared wait until our Destroyer and Angel were gone,
then sent someone to attack our universe?!"
"I'm going to Zeno's Palace to report him!!!"
Unable to bear the outrage any longer, he grabbed Shin and turned to leave.
But just then
Two multicolored beams of light descended from the sky.
