Chapter 42 - Don't run from me anymore

"I want to look up at the sky…

with a heart that sings of the stars, I want to love all things that are fading away…

…tonight as well, the stars brush past the wind."

The bell indicating the close of the day chimed throughout the walls of Hangyeom bringing our Korean teacher's poem to a halt.

"That's all for today class…"

I packed my bag silently and walked out.

Why did everything seem to have a way of stabbing at my heart? First my boss's theory, now, the poem that talked about self-reflection.

I'd read that poem countlessly before now but, the words this time hit differently

As I pushed through the crowd in the hallway, a pair of hands grabbed me, pulling towards them. I jolted, surprised at the contact.

Mr. Choi.

What did he want now? Surely, he didn't want to keep pressing on the whole aide thing right?

"Mr. Choi, how may I help you?" I asked in an almost tired voice. I was indeed tired…
