"Yaguruma-san, I came here because I want to join your team and fight alongside you. Please," Kagami said, bowing respectfully.
"Join us?" Yaguruma sounded rather surprised by Kagami's request. "Has your superior approved this?"
"Yes. Though Misaki-san gave me an earful, Tadokoro-san will explain things to the headquarters," Kagami explained.
"What is it you want to learn from me?" Yaguruma asked him.
"To defeat the Worms, I have to become stronger," Kagami answered without hesitation.
"Humans cannot become stronger through individual power alone. Never forget that point," Yaguruma cautioned him, which was also his tacit approval of the request to join the team.
"Yes! So, does this mean you agree?" Kagami was overjoyed.
Yaguruma glanced at him, then continued, "Don't forget that we in Shadow are not to be taken lightly."
"Yes, thank you very much!" Kagami couldn't help but smile.
"What should we do next?" Kagami inquired, following behind him.
"Since I've been discharged, of course, the first order of business is to make a delicious tofu feast. And since you've joined us, you should come and try my cooking," Yaguruma told him.
Just then, a call came through from headquarters.
It was Masato Mishima's voice. "Did Kabuto say there was still one Worm remaining during the fight a few days ago?"
"Yes, he did. I assume he only lied about that temporarily to avoid fighting me," Yaguruma replied confidently.
"It seems you misunderstood. Kabuto was correct; the other Worm has appeared," Masato's tone carried a hint of reproach. "Also, investigate the true identity of Faiz and find a way to defeat him."
He hung up immediately afterward.
Listening to the dial tone, Yaguruma's expression changed slightly, showing a lapse in his composure.
"Is something wrong, Yaguruma-san?" Kagami asked from the side.
"Ah, nothing. Let's go buy tofu," Yaguruma masked his emotions, putting on a nonchalant appearance.
He then took Kagami out to the usual tofu shop.
However, once they arrived, they discovered that Tendo had already beaten them to it, buying up all the tofu in the store.
The owner also informed them that the tofu had been purchased entirely by a man who "walks the path of Heaven."
This greatly displeased Kagami. He began to blame Tendo and prepared to demand an explanation.
At this point, Yaguruma's composure was beginning to break due to the relentless wave of frustrating events.
"Kabuto, Faiz." Yaguruma clenched his fist.
He clearly resented both of them. One had caused him to lose face in front of his superior, and the other had beaten him into the hospital for several days of recovery.
In order to quickly bring the Worm incident to an end, Yaguruma returned and gathered his squad members, along with Tadokoro and others, to investigate the victim's scene.
After systematically eliminating suspicious areas one by one, they arrived at a church where a wedding was taking place. Yaguruma decided to lay an ambush here, waiting for the Worm.
However, while guarding the entrance, he heard a familiar voice coming from inside the church. It was Soji Tendo.
Kagami's face showed dissatisfaction. He had repeatedly reminded Tendo that with Yaguruma present, they no longer needed Tendo to fight the Worms.
Pushing the door open, the two saw Tendo dressed as a priest, giving a blessing to the newlyweds.
"Tendo, how did you sneak in?" Yaguruma was shocked that Tendo had gotten here before him.
"Talking about perfect defensive work, yet there's an uninvited guest here," Tendo deliberately mocked Yaguruma's competence, suggesting that the scene, which should have been protected, already had a Worm mixed in.
This rattled Yaguruma once more. Could he truly have been negligent?
His gaze began to sweep over everyone in the church, trying to find a suspicious figure.
Tendo, however, gave a dismissive smirk and turned to look at a figure on the church's second floor. He pointed to a woman.
The woman's expression drastically changed. She immediately leapt out, revealing her true form—it was the Scorpio Worm that had escaped last time.
Everyone was shocked.
Tendo, who was already prepared, exposed the belt hidden beneath his clothes and reached out to catch the Kabuto Zecter.
"Henshin."
After shouting the transformation phrase, he inserted the Kabuto Zecter into the Driver on his belt.
The next second, his entire body was covered in thick armor, transforming him into Kabuto's Masked Form.
Seeing this, the Worm did not dare to fight Kabuto head-on and chose to escape by smashing through a window. Tendo pursued it immediately.
This made Yaguruma feel utterly wretched, as if he had swallowed a fly. In front of Tendo, he was made to look like a fool. His so-called "perfect harmonization" had been completely defeated.
"You bastard." Without Kagami noticing, Yaguruma clenched his fist, preparing to carry out the order given by headquarters: eliminate Kabuto.
Soon, Tendo chased the Worm outside, and they both entered the Clock Up acceleration mode. The battle was over without much difficulty.
Just as Tendo finished the fight and was about to go retrieve the tofu he had left at the restaurant, Yaguruma followed him.
When Tendo offered him a portion of the tofu, Yaguruma simply slapped it onto the ground.
Yaguruma did not say a word. He just turned and walked out of the restaurant.
Tendo gave Hiyori a look of apology and then followed him out.
As evening approached, the sun slowly set, and the afterglow bathed the landscape, painting the surroundings in an orange-yellow hue.
Tendo and Yaguruma arrived at a secluded area.
"Are you determined to fight me?" Tendo looked forward.
"One Kamen Rider is enough. I will defeat you first," Yaguruma said confidently.
"The other Rider from last time, do you think you can handle him on your own?" Tendo reminded him.
"You are both my enemies. Naturally, I will eliminate one and then deal with the other later."
As Yaguruma spoke, he revealed the Rider Bracelet.
"It seems a fight cannot be avoided then," Tendo said with a tone of regret, also revealing the belt around his waist.
At that moment, the Kabuto Zecter and the TheBee Zecter were simultaneously summoned into the sky, where they violently clashed, constantly smashing into each other.
Finally, the confrontation ended, and they dropped into the hands of the two men.
"Henshin!"
Both of them completed their transformations simultaneously.
