"Your power is…"
Rosyuo was also somewhat surprised. Both the Sengoku Driver and the Genesis Driver were powered by Lockseeds formed from Helheim fruits, which meant the power source was fundamentally the same nature as that used by the Over Lords. Rosyuo could sense that.
However, the power Raven now displayed went beyond his scope of understanding.
"What is Raven-san doing…" Kouta watched the area from a distance.
"No… it can't be. He's using a Driver that wasn't created by me!" Ryoma, observing in secret, was utterly stunned. There existed in this world a device other than his own that could enable a human to surpass themselves. His talent was supposed to be unique!
"It seems you are absolutely determined to obtain this Golden Fruit." Rosyuo said with extreme solemnity. He felt a power on Raven completely distinct from Helheim, a highly complex amalgamation of several forces. Furthermore, this might not even be Raven's full power, and the belt was likely just a means to control it.
One could only say that Rosyuo was indeed a "god-level" being; he saw through the power Raven was willingly displaying almost instantly.
"That is natural. It rightfully belongs to humanity." Raven drew his hand across the grip of the new Driver, and a longsword dripping with dark, viscous fluid instantly materialized.
"Then let me see what you're capable of." At this moment, Rosyuo was entirely serious.
Clang!
The two attacked simultaneously. Their speed was blinding; Raven relied on Super Acceleration, while Rosyuo used spatial teleportation.
It was like a battle between deities. The mere residual shockwaves from their fighting easily pierced the incredibly thick rock walls. Rubble flew everywhere!
Rosyuo began to control the Helheim plants, launching an attack on Raven. Countless vines instantly drilled out of the void, trying to lock Raven's body down. However, he quickly broke free.
Raven then employed the same ability. After devouring Demushu, his ability to control Helheim was also at a Demigod level.
Rosyuo was extremely surprised to see this, realizing Raven's control over the forest was nearly equal to his own. However, Rosyuo had, after all, consumed the Golden Fruit; when it came to sheer mastery, no one could compare to him. With a flash of light in his eyes, the plants reversed course and attacked Raven instead.
"So, this move won't work, then." Raven wasn't too surprised. Just before the plants could strike him, a purple, fiery energy burst from his body, incinerating all the encroaching vegetation.
The two were forced back into close-quarters combat.
Bang!
Boom!
The entire valley was practically being torn apart. To prevent the battle from reaching the stone coffin deep inside, Rosyuo chose to change the location. He instantly teleported to a nearby open area. Raven, seeing this, used Super Acceleration and followed him almost instantaneously.
As the two left, the initial onlookers were confused. Where did they go?
"They're over there!" Kaito heard the sounds of fierce fighting coming from the forest behind them with his sharp senses. The others quickly followed the sound.
"We should go too." Redyue naturally wouldn't miss this opportunity. It was best if Raven and Rosyuo fought for as long as possible until both were seriously injured. Only then would he have a chance to seize the Golden Fruit from Rosyuo.
On the other side.
"Now this is a fight!" Rosyuo felt a long-lost excitement. As the King of the Femushinmu tribe, since obtaining the Golden Fruit, he hadn't experienced such a passionate battle. Fighting Raven had awakened his ancient memories.
At this moment, both Rosyuo and Raven were covered in wounds. For Rosyuo, any injury that wasn't a piercing fatal blow could be rapidly healed. Raven was the same, perhaps even stronger.
After absorbing so much power, his Amazon Origin healing ability had reached a terrifying, unnatural level. His life force was incredibly tenacious; forget just being impaled—even if he were torn to pieces, as long as his heart wasn't instantly crushed, he could recover. Besides, he still had two lives to spare. He wasn't worried even if he died instantly.
Watching the fight between Raven and Rosyuo grow more intense, both sides fully committing to the battle, Redyue was extremely excited.
"I never expected such a powerful fighter to exist among your human race. I truly hope they manage to destroy each other." Redyue said excitedly.
"And when you obtain the Golden Fruit and successfully conquer the world, don't forget what you promised me." Mitsuzane had already formed an alliance with Redyue.
"Of course. It's meaningless to rule over a wasteland. When the time comes, you'll manage things, and I'll play." Redyue and Mitsuzane were two peas in a pod, sharing similar twisted ambitions.
Kouta, who had caught up, grew very worried seeing blood spraying from both Raven and Rosyuo as they fought, as if both were sustaining heavy injuries.
"I feel like Raven-san is in danger right now."
He pulled out a Lockseed, intending to rush forward and help, but Kaito grabbed him.
"Hey, are you crazy? This isn't a fight you can interfere with."
"But…" Kouta was truly conflicted. If Raven lost and died at the hands of the Over Lord King, how could he face his sister? His sister had painstakingly raised him, remained single for years, and just when she found happiness, would she now have to face the agony of losing her partner?
"Raven-sama won't lose."
The woman known as "Peach Sister" was now completely captivated by Raven's charisma and strength. She had completely thrown Ryoma Sengoku and Yggdrasill out of her mind. She had no ambition of her own; all she ever wanted was to witness the birth of a true King. Raven was, without a doubt, the most promising candidate.
"Graaah—!"
Raven fought with increasing ferocity, letting out a roar. His two silver compound eyes were covered in the fresh blood of either himself or Rosyuo. At this point, the fight had evolved from a duel of swords to a visceral, fist-to-fist exchange.
Finally, the two mutually impaled each other in the chest.
They then separately withdrew their hands. Both were covered in blood. Both looked somewhat depleted.
