"That's just too strong…"
Kouta was utterly shocked seeing Raven so effortlessly defeat the red Over Lord, an enemy they had struggled against. They both used the Kachidoki Lockseed, but the power displayed was on entirely different levels.
"You're amazing, Raven-san!"
Kouta breathed a huge sigh of relief. He had been furious that the Over Lord had emerged to wreak havoc in Zawame City, seeing the Over Lords as completely irrational beings. But with Raven around, he felt much more at ease. No matter how strong or unreasonable the Over Lords were, they wouldn't be able to run wild in the world.
"Kouta, remember this: I will be the one to save this world. Don't let yourself be misled by anyone else again. One more step forward, and you'll find yourself in a bottomless abyss." Raven spoke earnestly to him.
Becoming a god might be a great thing for others, but for the naturally saintly person like the Orange Rider, who fundamentally didn't seek power, it would be a painful ordeal. Therefore, Raven had no intention of letting him repeat that path.
"Misled…" Hearing this, Kouta immediately thought of DJ Sagara, the one who kept giving him "power-ups."
Truthfully, Kouta still didn't understand why the man was doing what he did. And the man seemed to know everything about Helheim. There might be some sort of conspiracy behind it.
So, Kouta simply nodded. "I'll remember your words, Raven-san."
The moment he made this decision, DJ Sagara, who was observing him, seemed to sense a future timeline abruptly snapping off.
"What a pity, a pity."
Having said that, DJ Sagara shook his head and walked away. As he left, a civilian-use Kiwami Lockseed also fell to the ground.
Raven, sensing something from a distance, vanished from in front of Kouta using Super Acceleration and reappeared where Sagara had been.
"Interesting."
Raven picked up the Kiwami Lockseed. He looked off in a certain direction.
"I hope you, an unpredictable variable, can bring about a new result." DJ Sagara's voice echoed from nowhere.
"With this, it looks like I can go meet Rosyuo."
Raven put the Kiwami Lockseed away. It was better to finish up the matters of this world sooner rather than later. With a thought, he opened a Crack and stepped right into it.
"Raven-san!"
Kouta, rushing over, saw Raven enter the Crack and followed him inside. Then, Yoko and the Kaito hesitated briefly before following suit.
....
Deep within Helheim, at the Femushinmu base camp.
Under the guidance of Redyue, Sid and Mitsuzane had entered Rosyuo's dwelling place. Redyue informed them that the Golden Fruit was in Rosyuo's hands. Sid walked in without a second thought. Mitsuzane, being more cunning, remained outside.
"Golden Fruit, here I come!"
Sid walked inside and saw a white Over Lord standing there.
"Who are you? Where is the Golden Fruit? Hand it over now!" Sid pulled out his Genesis Driver and transformed with the Cherry Energy Lockseed. He pointed the Sonic Arrow at Rosyuo.
"Is this what you're looking for?"
Rosyuo raised a hand. A fruit glowing with golden light appeared out of thin air.
"Haha, that's right, that's mine…"
Sid's eyes were glued to the fruit. Entranced by the temptation emanating from the Golden Fruit, he completely lost his composure and walked straight toward it.
Rosyuo let out a cold snort. He raised his other hand, and a powerful force swept over Sid, sending him flying.
Sid, who crashed against the side of a mountain, immediately picked himself up from the ground, pulled the trigger on his Sonic Arrow, and fired an energy bolt at Rosyuo. However, the attack was automatically blocked by a barrier on Rosyuo's body.
Rosyuo casually struck again, sending Sid flying once more.
Redyue, observing in the shadows, couldn't help but shake his head. It seemed Rosyuo really wasn't easy to deal with. Redyue had always been planning to stab Rosyuo in the back, wanting to seize the Golden Fruit for himself.
"Leave this place quietly. If you comply, I won't take your life." Rosyuo kindly told Sid, who was pinned against the mountain wall by the remote force.
"Y-You have to be kidding me!" Sid forced himself to withstand the pressure, stretched out his hand, and shouted. "I won't take orders from anyone anymore!"
"I won't let anyone boss me around again!"
"Haah—!"
Just then, the Genesis Driver on his waist reached its limit and began to crackle and explode. His transformation was consequently undone.
"I… I will surpass humanity!"
Seeing the man so stubbornly deluded, Rosyuo shook his head and no longer held back.
"Since you have this resolve, I shall grant it to you."
Rosyuo proceeded to split the distant mountain in two, force Sid into the gap, and then close the mountain back up.
Thus, Sid became the Mountain God. In a certain sense, he succeeded in surpassing humanity.
Just kidding…
"Truly worthy of the King of Femushinmu."
At this moment, a voice came from a distance. It was Raven.
He had witnessed the entire process. After devouring Demushu and others, he could now sense all of Helheim, so it was naturally easy for him to find this place. He hadn't expected to arrive just in time to witness the famous scene of the Mountain God's birth.
"Who are you? Are you also here to covet the Golden Fruit?" Rosyuo turned slightly to face Raven.
Mitsuzane, who was hiding and observing with Redyue, was startled. Why is he here?
"Oh? You seem quite afraid of that man." Redyue asked with some interest. He had seen Raven before; the man had easily defeated Demushu last time. Perhaps he could pose a threat to Rosyuo now. If so, Redyue could seize the opportunity for a finishing blow.
"He… is also an extremely annoying individual."
Mitsuzane was currently working with Redyue. After learning of Redyue's intent to rule the human world, Mitsuzane willingly became his subordinate, aspiring to be the first "human traitor" in history.
"My objective is indeed the Golden Fruit." Raven admitted outright.
"If you desire the Golden Fruit, then prepare to leave your life behind." Rosyuo said without ceremony.
Then, the same power he used on Sid was applied to Raven.
However, Raven withstood it with his physical body. He appeared completely unaffected as he stood there.
