[Sun-Crowned - The Eternal Nation.]
[Enuma Elish - The Star of Creation that Split Heaven and Earth.]
[Under the immense, ultimate attacks, the miracles of this world unfolded. Watching this battle from directly above, even the gods in the heavens had to take notice.]
[As golden and red flashes erupted, power seemingly capable of devouring heaven and earth was released to its extreme in an instant, making it completely unapproachable. Countless Uruk soldiers could only watch from afar.]
[Because Gilgamesh had given the order that no one was to disturb their battle unless he commanded it.]
[When the dust settled, under the soldiers' eager and hopeful gazes, a single figure walked out.]
["Hey, call your priests. Also, prepare food and clothes."]
[Carrying the unconscious Gilgamesh on your shoulder, your own stamina had also reached its limit. In the final moment before your eyes closed, seeing the waiting soldiers, your last memory was that this King of Heroes seemed rather light and had an unexpectedly pleasant fragrance.]
…
Inside the King of Heroes' palace.
"Gil, do you see? This is your world. This is Uruk."
"You are the king. You are the most excellent king. You are the future king of all humanity."
"But Father King, what about Mother? Mother told me I'm a girl. Shouldn't being king be Father's role?"
"...Your mother was mistaken, my child. Kingship has nothing to do with gender. What truly matters for a king is capability."
"Gil, you have the blessings of the gods! You are the most suitable king!"
"The King acknowledges, the King permits, the King bears the whole world! You are the King!"
His name was Gilgamesh. Legend said the great god Ulu molded his tall, sturdy body from fine clay from the deep sea floor.
The birth goddess Nintu endowed him with charm.
The sun god Shamash gave him a handsome, majestic appearance.
The storm god Adad granted him boundless strength and courage, bestowing upon him an unyielding heroic character.
The god of wisdom, Ea, filled his mind with intellect.
Fenrir gave him extraordinary martial prowess and spirit, but also passed on his own violent and impatient temperament.
Through the gods' efforts, a mortal emperor with two-thirds divinity and one-third humanity was born.
However, differing from other worlds, when Anu blessed Gilgamesh in this era, he felt a moment of compassion, remembering the infinitely charming Ishtar.
Thus, he altered Gilgamesh's existence. The divine child who appeared in Uruk was born with a female form.
Although he didn't understand why his daughter became the gods' blessed one, the heir destined to be king, Lugalbanda, who revered the gods, abandoned all his other children and unilaterally declared Gilgamesh the king.
After that, the young Gilgamesh abandoned everything a girl could possess. Destined to be king, she remained alone within the palace, bearing the king's burden.
However... Lugalbanda's other sons, unwilling to let a mere woman like Gilgamesh become king, united to kill their younger sister.
But... Gilgamesh, as fate's chosen, was protected by the gods. Facing her enemies, the heavenly deities directly assisted Gilgamesh, overcoming the crisis and slaying all the royal contenders.
From then on, Gilgamesh stopped speaking freely.
Because he... no, she understood she wasn't some divine messenger, but their puppet.
She wasn't some innate king, just a figurehead.
She wasn't even truly a girl, but a product influenced and discriminated against because of her gender.
Humans and gods alike were all creatures who judged by appearances.
They didn't support what they hadn't heard of, didn't support what they hadn't seen, maliciously speculating and hostile towards everything with their limited perspectives.
Concealing her identity as a girl, reigning over the world anew as the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh almost forgot her true self over the passing years.
Once, she had read those knightly tales, knowing of heroes who could protect princesses.
Once, she had yearned for those beautiful dresses… clothes she, as the princess of Uruk, never possessed.
Once, she had longed for the love described in books, but the palace's intrigues made her utterly hostile towards men. She refused to believe the world couldn't function without them.
With this mindset, the Gilgamesh who became king lacked the Golden's tyranny, the Caster's benevolence, and the child's kindness.
She possessed everything, yet possessed nothing, forced to exist as a puppet king atop the world, fulfilling her duty.
"Hahaha... Enjoyable, truly enjoyable! This king has never met someone like you before!"
"Quite capable! But still far inferior to this king!"
"Listen well, Ryuya! This is this king's final strike! Don't you dare die!"
The figure she saw in her confused dream was the first genuine interest she had felt in all these years.
In him, she saw a stature equally majestic, perhaps even greater, than her own. Gilgamesh had no idea when such a powerful king had appeared in the world.
Having exerted her full power with Enuma Elish, she fell unconscious from exhaustion. Waking up at night in her palace bedchamber, she found herself bandaged in many places, her clothes changed.
"Siduri."
"I am here, my King."
No need to think. The only one who knew her true identity and was still a citizen of Uruk was Siduri, the chief priestess of Uruk and her only trusted companion.
Knowing only this priestess could have treated her, Gilgamesh, feeling as if she had experienced a great dream, felt a sense of emptiness in her life for the first time.
She didn't know what she should do at this moment.
Watching the silent king, Siduri felt Gilgamesh might have misunderstood something.
Thinking for a moment, the girl possessing the most ancient kindness pointed to Gilgamesh's tattered armor and softly reminded her:
"My King, that man named Ryuya is fine. He was the one who brought you back while you were unconscious."
"Although it seems improbable to say this... it appears he was the victor in your battle."

A/N: From what I've read, Ea was passed down from Gilgamesh's father, Lugalbanda, who reigned for over 2000 years, originating from the dawn of Mesopotamian mythology.
But in Babylonian mythology, Ea was given to Lugalbanda by the sun god Ninurta, a Noble Phantasm destined for the king, like the Tablet of Destinies.
There's some conflict between Mesopotamian and Babylonian mythology regarding Ea's origin, but both agree it existed during Lugalbanda's time, Gilgamesh's father.
Nasuverse's settings aren't entirely consistent either... Sigh...
