HONEKI – The Cursed Blessing.
As introduced in Chapter One, Honeki is not a gift of balance. It is a cursedability, a volatile force granted to selected individuals, channeling raw, surging energy throughout their body—most intensely within the abdomen, the core of their spiritual and physical center.
Unlike traditional energy systems, Honeki doesn't remain static or drain with use.
It grows. Infinitely.
The longer it remains unused, the more pressure it builds inside the host's body. This results in a dangerous condition known as "SpiritualOverload". Left unchecked:
- The Honeki begins to fade, losing its natural glow.
- The user's skin may become pale, their veins darkening visibly.
- And at its worst?
Spontaneouscombustion.
A devastating release where the energy tearsthebodyapart from within, igniting the user into ash and memory.
Thus, mastering Honeki is not just about power—
It is about timing, control, and restraint.
Even gods fear what lies in the core of a careless user.
While Honeki is feared as a cursedability, its true essence lies in how it is used.
When mastered, Honeki can be reversed into what many call a "Blessing"—a divine force used not for destruction, but for creation, defense, and legacy.
By learning to manipulate Honeki, users can:
- Channel it outward into visibleenergy
- Forge techniques, weapons, or even territorialbases
- Use it to protectvillages, fortify regions, or challenge powerful threats
This process is called HonekiManipulation—
The art of making one's Honeki visibleandfunctional.
To do this, the user must:
1. SurgetheirHoneki into a targeted area of their body
2. Focus using the innereye, a mental state of visual clarity
3. Visualizeanelementorconcept(e.g., fire, shadow, gravity, silence)
4. Shape their Honeki to mirror that element, giving birth to a unique Technique
These techniques become the signatureabilities of the user—each one forged from their will, elemental affinity, and emotional resonance.
In that moment, the cursed energy becomes a divine instrument.
A bladeofprotection or a stormofjudgment—
Depending on the soul who wields it.
And of course—powerdemandsaprice.
Every Honeki user who creates a technique from scratch—pulling raw energy from within and shaping it through the inner eye—must pay for it, whether they accept it or not. The payment is often unwilling and unpredictable, but always inevitable.
Take for example the legendary:
Bizu Omi
—The First Hekai and Founder of Niri Village
He was the original creator of the famed water technique:
Mizuno Kōban (The Water Arc Treasury)
Using his inner eye, Bizu discovered a realm through deep visualization—
A spiritual dimension he named Laki,
—An infinite plane flooded with water, where a single spirit walks for eternity.
From that realm, Bizu learned to summon vast torrents of water into his position in an instant, through rifts between worlds.
But his gift came at a grave cost:
Upon completing Mizuno Kōban, Bizu lost his eyes and ears permanently.
Still, he pressed on.
In the years that followed, he developed other water-based techniques,
—each one extracted from visions within Laki—
And recorded them meticulously into scrolls, so that others could learn without needing to use the inner eye.
But in the end, the toll was too great.
Bizu Omi died from organ failure, his body unable to contain the price he paid for tapping into divinity.
He remains one of the clearest examples in history of the consequences of technique creation—
A genius of Honeki... and a martyr of power.
ANTIHONEKI
AntiHoneki is a newly discovered and highly controversial evolution of the original Honeki system. Unlike Honeki—which was long believed to be both a curse and power—Anti Honeki is now considered the first true "blessing".
Where Honeki is rooted in forward progression—building, surging, and releasing energy—
Anti Honeki works in reverse, tapping into opposing flows and rejecting the original system altogether.
---
Key Differences
- Honeki:
Forward and Recessive
Requires internal build-up of cursed energy, then external execution.
- Anti Honeki:
Dominant and Backward
Uses external, natural energy to reverse the flow—ultimately repelling Honeki itself.
---
Standard Honeki Stages:
1. Hiku– Recognizing the presence of Honeki in a chosen area.
2. Surge – Absorbing Honeki into that area.
3. Release – Executing a technique using stored Honeki.
---
Anti Honeki Stages (Reversed Flow):
1. Surge – Absorbing Anti Energy, drawn from natural bodily actions—like eating, exercise, and living.
2. Hiku– Becoming aware of this raw energy, allowing it to circulate freely by surrendering the body to the alternate system
3. Repel– Forcibly rejecting any trace of Honeki, both internal and nearby—nullifying cursed techniques entirely.
---
What Makes Anti Honeki Different?
- Anti Honeki isn't just absence of Honeki—it's the mirror of it.
Where Honeki builds techniques, Anti Honeki breaks them down.
- It operates on natural energy, not spiritual or cursed.
This makes Anti Honeki unpredictable, yet highly adaptable and resistant to all traditional Honeki forms.
- Final to Initial:
In Anti Honeki, energy transfer begins from what would normally be the last phase of Honeki (release) and cycles backward—reprogramming the body.
---
Implication in Combat:
Those with Anti Honeki can:
-Disable Honeki users by repelling their abilities.
- Remain immune to most techniques based on Honeki flow.
- Convert released techniques into raw energy for counterattacks.
However, mastering Anti Honeki is rare, as it requires the user to first understand Honeki completely—and then reject it from within.
It's not for the gifted. It's for the awakened.
DEMONICGRAVE
Demonic Grave is one of the oldest known energy systems in existence—far older than Honeki, and feared across all realms. While Honeki is a cursed power that flows through the living, Demonic Grave belongs to the dead.
It is a possessive ability tied exclusively to Demons—or beings bound to the afterlife.
---
What is Demonic Grave?
Demonic Grave is the soul-core of a demon.
A sealed chamber within them that stores mysterious, unquantifiable energy from the RealmoftheDead—a realm beyond the reach of Honeki, Anti Honeki, or any known living force.
This energy grants demons:
- Insane Durability – Their bodies can withstand fatal blows without faltering.
- Rapid Regeneration – They can regrow organs, limbs, and even reattach their own heads.
- Unnatural Vitality– As long as the Demonic Grave remains unbroken, they are essentially immortal.
---
Key Features of Demonic Grave:
- Afterlife Tether:
Every demon with a Demonic Grave is bound to the afterlife. They are both dead and alive, existing in a constant state of in-between.
Killing their body does not kill them. Only destroying the Grave itself can.
- Possession-Type Power:
A demon can inject their energy or consciousness into another body using the Grave as the link—possessing corpses, creatures, or even strong-willed humans temporarily.
- Limitless Reserve (With a Price):
The Grave holds limitless cursed energy, but each use opens cracks between the demon and the afterlife. If abused, they risk being dragged back permanently—ceasing to exist in all realms.
---
Weakness:
- Light of the Living – Techniques formed from Anti Honeki can expose or destabilize a Grave.
- Oathbound Seals– Ancient rites or words (like Hiwetō) can forcibly pull the demon from their Grave, destroying their bond.
---
In Summary:
Demonic Grave is the source of every demon's terrifying power.
It is not just energy. It is their anchor to reality—
and their curse to never truly die.
NOTE; TECHNIQUES LIKE MEMORYERASURE, CHANGEOFMOMENT, DEATHLOOPS AND HIKORA ARE ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES THAT ARE COMBINATION OF BOTH HONEKI AMD DEATH GRAVES THROUGH SPIRITUAL ALTARS
