Catherine's POV
I leaned back from the bed, ensuring Tessa was relatively calm for the moment, and stood up. My mind was already racing through a dozen different calculations. I looked at Julian, who was still hovering near the doorframe. Without saying a word to Ethan or Tessa, I marched toward him, grabbed his arm firmly, and led him out of the room. I didn't stop until we reached a secluded corner of the hallway where no one could overhear our conversation.
Once we were alone, I folded my arms tightly across my chest. I started pacing the small area of the corridor with an aggressive rhythm. Julian didn't move or speak. He stood there with his hands in his pockets, staring at me with a look of genuine surprise.
