But he didn't relax. He kept the speedometer pushed to its limit.
Finally, he remembered Kelsey sitting beside him and took a second to reassure her. "Don't worry, we've lost him."

There was a deafening BANG.
The car was hit with a massive impact, the sound a sickening, dull crunch of metal.
Norman stared, completely in disbelief, at Rhett, who had somehow caught up.
Rhett still looked totally relaxed, but there was a cold, mocking disdain in his eyes.
