The door closed with a soft thud.
Kelsey couldn't quite tell what Dexter was thinking, so she quietly followed him and sat beside him on the sofa without saying a word.
For a while, Dexter sat there, his hand supporting his forehead. Then he looked up and asked, "Sis, do you like that teacher?"
Kelsey froze. "Why would you say that?"
Dexter didn't reply.
Instead, he leaned toward her, his tall figure, over 1.8 meters bending down like a big bear trying to act cute with a rabbit. "What kind of man does Sis even like?"
Kelsey could tell he was overthinking. "Don't worry, it's impossible between me and your teacher."
"But I feel like he treats you differently…"
"Didn't you hear what he said just now? He only thinks I'm pretty." Kelsey smiled faintly. "I'm not mother teresa, if men start liking me just by looking at me, that's their problem, I'm not obliged to respond."
