Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 The Golden Arrival

The roar of displaced air and the blinding flash of gold and white lightning announced Jaune's arrival.

He landed with a slight seismic shudder in the meticulously manicured central garden near the Xiao Clan manor's main courtyard.

The ground beneath his feet was slightly scorched, and the delicate plum blossoms shook violently.

The people of the Xiao Clan, already gathered for the wedding, saw his landing clearly.

They didn't see a boy; they saw a deity descending in a column of thunder.

Xiao Lie, who had rushed out, immediately composed himself and moved forward with trembling reverence.

"That was intense!"

Jaune muttered to himself, shaking his head slightly to clear the residual electricity.

He had never flown that fast before, the reckless use of his Semblance combined with his Dragon power pushing his limits.

However, he now knew he had an immense degree of control over his raw power when focused.

"I, Xiao Lie, the elder of the Xiao Clan, greet you, Senior,"

Xiao Lie stated, dropping into a deep, respectful bow.

Even though Jaune looked very young, Xiao Lie knew appearance could be deceiving—only a Sky Profound Realm expert could fly, and only an absolute genius could manage to look so young while possessing such terrifying power.

"Oh, hi... Sorry to intrude,"

Jaune replied, feeling awkward about the elaborate greeting.

"And please don't call me senior. I am just seventeen."

"Seventeen?"

Xiao Lie repeated, his jaw slackening.

"Yes, I am seventeen, so I am far from being a senior,"

Jaune confirmed, getting straight to the point.

"I have come here to help someone who got poisoned. Do you know where Xiao Che is?"

Jaune spoke directly and with genuine concern.

He couldn't act like a calculating, aloof cultivator; he wasn't one after all.

He was a young man who aspired to be the greatest shopkeeper and Huntsman!

Xiao Lie's mind reeled at the mention of his grandson's name and the word "poison."

The doctor's lies instantly dissolved.

This powerful, luminous being had arrived solely to mention poison.

"Please, this way Senior—ahem, Young Master,"

Xiao Lie corrected himself, still reeling from the shock of Jaune's age and power level.

"Please call me Jaune. My name is Jaune Arc,"

Jaune insisted.

He nodded and extended a hand to guide him away from the rapidly gathering crowd of stunned wedding guests.

Xiao Lie saw that Jaune didn't mean any harm and only wanted to help his grandson.

Xiao Lie led Jaune to Xiao Che's room, where Xiao Lingxi was still tenderly caring for her nephew.

Jaune looked at the pale, sickly young man and didn't waste any time with formalities.

He reached into his inventory—the one only he could access—and brought out a bottle of the Remedy Potion.

As Jaune held the clear glass vial, Xiao Lie gasped, his whole body shaking.

The potion radiated an intense, pure, natural Profound Energy that Xiao Lie could sense even as a half-step Earth Profound practitioner.

"What intense profound energy! Such a treasure!"

Xiao Lie cried out in awe and disbelief.

He had no doubt now that this potion was priceless.

Jaune gently tilted Xiao Che's head and poured the remedy down his throat.

The moment the liquid touched the young man's lips, a faint wave of golden light radiated from his chest.

The poison was neutralized instantly.

Xiao Che groaned and stirred, his eyes fluttering open.

"Urghh, water…"

Xiao Lingxi, who was next to him, immediately brought water to feed him, her previous worry turning to ecstatic relief.

"Whew, it's done. Xiao Che is as good as new!"

Jaune declared, stepping back to let the family check on the patient.

Xiao Lie quickly nodded and performed a detailed check on Xiao Che, running his own Profound Energy through his grandson's meridians.

What he discovered made his breath hitch in his throat: the hidden, chronic damage in Xiao Che's broken primary meridian—the very injury that had crippled his cultivation—was not only gone but had been repaired, leaving the channels wide and clear.

"T—This is a miracle! Thank you so much, Young Master!"

Xiao Lie exclaimed, dropping to his knees.

Jaune felt a blush creep onto his cheeks, embarrassed to be called "Young Master." But Ciel, now silent but fully operational, projected a quick, non-verbal text into his mind:

[Host, you must get used to the title. In this world, your displayed power warrants an even higher title.]

Jaune sighed, accepting the title.

He was now a Sky Profound Realm expert in the eyes of the Xiao Clan, thanks to his spectacular, reckless landing.

The wedding, the poison, and the internal Clan politics were about to be turned upside down.
