Chapter 9 - 68 to 76

In a desolate industrial battlefield, crumbling ruins and rusty machines formed a barren landscape. HYDRA's super-powered soldiers stood in formation, emitting various strange energy fluctuations, their mouths curved in arrogant smiles, completely unafraid of the impending confrontation.

Sephiroth stood his ground, his long robe fluttering in the wind, holding his masamune (long sword), his gaze resolute and calm. He knew this would be a difficult battle, but he showed no intention of retreating. A powerful aura emanated from him, like a fierce beast of battle, ready to meet the enemy's challenge.

"Sephiroth, you have no retreat! HYDRA's power will rule the World, and you will become our sacrifice!" a soldier roared, his body engulfed in raging Fire, the flames dancing with his movements, ready to surge towards Sephiroth.

"Your ambition will ultimately be destroyed, and I will not let you succeed!" Sephiroth said coldly, his voice echoing across the entire battlefield, as if announcing the beginning of a bloody war.

The battle was imminent, and HYDRA's super-powered soldiers launched their attacks on Sephiroth. One soldier manipulated a storm, raising howling winds that swirled towards Sephiroth; another controlled the Earth, causing the ground to rise and form huge rocks that hurled towards Sephiroth; yet another released Electrical Energy, lightning snaking through the air, attempting to electrocute Sephiroth into charcoal.

Sephiroth was agile; he swiftly dodged the enemy's attacks while simultaneously swinging his masamune (long sword), launching a counterattack with lightning speed. He unleashed the "Eight Blade Flash" skill, his blade light like electricity, continuously slashing at the surrounding soldiers, each strike carrying a fierce killing intent.

"Earth-Shaking (Sword Technique)!" Sephiroth growled, and the ground instantly cracked, creating a powerful tremor. A soldier was hit, sent flying by the immense impact, breaking several steel bars, and crashing into a distant wall.

"Heaven-Shaking!" He immediately unleashed another skill in mid-air, his blade light exploding like thunder and lightning. Another soldier was sent flying, crashing to the ground, creating a huge crater.

HYDRA's soldiers were startled by Sephiroth's formidable strength; they had not expected him to be so powerful. His sword skills were like a sudden storm, every strike a fatal blow, leaving them no chance to retaliate.

"Impossible... How can he be so strong!" a soldier roared in terror, but his voice was cut short as Sephiroth's masamune (long sword) struck him down.

Only silence remained on the battlefield. Sephiroth stood there, his gaze sweeping around, ready for the more intense battle to come.

In the underground Laboratory of the Hydra Base, Baron Strucker frowned deeply, his scalp tingling. The Dr. beside him looked embarrassed, unable to explain the disastrous defeat.

"You are all a bunch of good-for-nothings!" Baron Strucker angrily grabbed the Dr. next to him, scolding, "Didn't you say before that these super-powered soldiers could easily defeat the opponent? How come now they're all wiped out without even a whimper!"

The Dr. stammered, unsure how to answer. They had indeed placed high hopes on these new super-powered soldiers, believing they could defeat Sephiroth, but reality was a brutal failure.

"What a bunch of useless trash!" Baron Strucker was furious, directly pushing the Dr. to the ground, roaring in anger.

In the center of the Laboratory, the Mind Stone floated silently in the air, emitting an enchanting glow. Baron Strucker looked at it, his eyes gleaming with greed and desire.

"What beautiful power," he murmured to himself, his eyes becoming fanatical.

The Mind Stone was one of HYDRA's most important experiments and their ultimate weapon for seizing global control. With this power, Baron Strucker's success rate in creating super-powered soldiers began to rise steadily.

Baron Strucker stood before the Mind Stone, gazing at the mysterious weapon with eager anticipation. His heart raced, a frenzied smile on his lips, his eyes gleaming with avarice.

"Finally, this power will be mine!" he whispered to himself, his fingers gently touching the Mind Stone, feeling the immense energy it released.

The Mind Stone was a powerful super-weapon, possessing the ability to control others' thoughts and consciousness. Baron Strucker had always yearned to master this power to control the World and become the supreme ruler. He had conducted countless experiments for this, paying a huge price, and now, he finally saw the hope of success.

"This power will free me from all constraints and make me a true master!" Baron Strucker laughed ecstatically, his plans for super-powered soldiers becoming even more ambitious.

"Dr., restart the experiments! I want stronger super-powered soldiers; they must be stronger, faster, and more destructive than before!" Baron Strucker commanded, his eyes filled with ambition and desire.

The Dr. trembled as he stood up. He knew that restarting the experiments would not be easy, but he also knew that defying Baron Strucker's orders would lead to an even more terrifying fate. He could only try his best to satisfy the Baron's demands, no matter what it meant.

In another secret Laboratory, a new batch of super-powered soldiers was being created. Their bodies were injected with HYDRA's unique genetic modifications, endowing them with various powerful superpowers. Their eyes held no emotion, only cold killing intent; they were designed as ruthless killing machines, obeying only Baron Strucker's orders.

"Kill Sephiroth!" Baron Strucker said coldly, his eyes gleaming with determination and cruelty... In the underground Laboratory of the Hydra Base, Sephiroth faced a new batch of super-powered soldiers, who exuded a chilling killing aura. These soldiers looked different from the previous ones, more ruthless and cold-blooded, as if they were killing tools personally crafted by Baron Strucker.

"Sephiroth, you're just a stupid fool who thinks he's clever!" one soldier sneered, Electrical Energy flashing in his hand, ready to attack Sephiroth.

"Do you think you can stop us? How naive you are!" another soldier mocked, manipulating Fire that instantly engulfed the entire battlefield.

Sephiroth said nothing, his form moving instantly, appearing like a flash of lightning in the midst of his enemies. He unleashed the "One Strike" skill, wielding his masamune (long sword), rapidly slashing at the enemies. The blade light was like a sudden storm, every strike a fatal blow.

But these new soldiers were not so easy to deal with; their abilities were more powerful, and their combat experience was richer. One soldier released Electrical Energy, surrounding Sephiroth in a dazzling arc of electricity; another manipulated the Earth, causing the ground to surge into spikes, attempting to trap Sephiroth.

Sephiroth deftly dodged the enemy's attacks while launching a counterattack. He unleashed "Hell Gate," his blade cleaving down, tearing through the air, forming a sword qi that sent the enemy flying.

A chaotic battle erupted on the battlefield as Sephiroth and the enemies engaged in fierce close combat. His blade light constantly flashed, and the enemy's abilities were continuously neutralized by him.

"You cannot stop our destiny!" a soldier roared, dark energy emanating from him, preparing to deliver a fatal blow to Sephiroth.

"We will rule the World, and you will turn to dust!" another soldier said coldly, his eyes filled with fanaticism and desire.

Sephiroth's aura began to change dramatically; a faint golden glow started to appear on the surface of his body. This was a sign that the power of his jenova cells was beginning to erupt.

"What?!" HYDRA's super-powered soldiers watched Sephiroth in astonishment; they could feel the power on Sephiroth's body rapidly increasing, as if a huge energy was surging.

Baron Strucker, observing the scene through the monitor, was also stunned by what he saw. He couldn't believe his eyes.

A golden current of air gradually rose from Sephiroth's body, and his eyes also turned deep gold, like two blazing stars. The masamune (long sword) in his hand also began to emit a dazzling golden light, exuding a terrifying pressure.

"It's time to end this!" Sephiroth's voice was cold and majestic, as if coming from an existence in another World.

HYDRA's super-powered soldiers were immensely shocked; they felt the aura of the God of Death. Sephiroth was like an invincible deity, irresistible.

"Death!" Sephiroth shouted coldly, his body suddenly rushing towards HYDRA's super-powered soldiers. He swung his masamune (long sword), the blade light like electricity, cutting across the entire battlefield.

One soldier tried to stop Sephiroth, but he simply couldn't withstand this terrifying power. Sephiroth's masamune (long sword) sliced through his energy shield, and then another strike cut through his body, completely killing him.

The other soldiers retreated in terror; they felt the threat of Death. Their abilities became minuscule and powerless before Sephiroth.

"Impossible! How can he be so powerful!" Baron Strucker muttered in horror; he couldn't accept the reality before him.

Sephiroth's body transformed into a golden lightning bolt, instantly darting among HYDRA's super-powered soldiers. He swung his masamune (long sword), every strike a fatal blow, every strike killing an enemy.

HYDRA's super-powered soldiers fell one after another; their abilities were useless. Faced with Sephiroth's power, they could only wait for Death.

The entire Laboratory began to collapse, explosions constantly ringing out, and flames raging. Sephiroth's power became even more terrifying; his jenova cells seemed to have transformed into an endless Sun, illuminating the entire battlefield.

In an instant, the entire underground Laboratory was completely destroyed, and Sephiroth's power reached its peak. The golden light illuminated the entire underground, then burst forth like a dazzling star.

When Sephiroth returned to Umbrella Corporation.

"My Lord Sephiroth, Mr. Kroitz from Headquarters is waiting for you at the Laboratory now," a supervisor respectfully said to Sephiroth.

News came from Umbrella Headquarters that Mr. Kroitz would personally visit the European Umbrella branch to upgrade equipment and the intelligent security system for Sephiroth and the entire team.

Sephiroth didn't have much expectation for this; for him, equipment and systems were not what he cared about most. He was more concerned with how to find the mastermind behind HYDRA and prevent them from continuing to threaten Umbrella Corporation and the world.

However, when Sephiroth arrived at the Laboratory, he saw Mr. Kroitz waiting there. Kroitz smiled, his gaze revealing a sense of anticipation.

"Sephiroth, welcome back," Kroitz greeted Sephiroth warmly, his eyes filled with respect.

Sephiroth was slightly taken aback, then regained his calm expression. "Thank you," he responded concisely.

"Sephiroth, I heard that you have performed exceptionally well during this period. The Umbrella Corporation branch is truly proud to have such a top warrior as you," Kroitz praised.

Sephiroth didn't like too much praise; he just nodded silently without saying much.

Kroitz saw through Sephiroth's thoughts. He knew Sephiroth was a man of few words, so he got straight to the point. "I am here to upgrade the equipment and intelligent security system of European Umbrella. As HYDRA's super-powered soldiers become more numerous, we must enhance our combat capabilities."

"I know," Sephiroth nodded. Although he didn't care about the equipment, he knew it was very important for the entire team.

"Not only that, we will also upgrade the Aizenak Armor Legion, making their combat power even stronger," Kroitz continued, "At the same time, we will increase investment in biochemical engineering research to develop more advanced biochemical weapons and technologies."

"I will assist you," Sephiroth responded solemnly. He knew that the Umbrella Corporation branch was facing increasing threats and had to do everything possible to enhance its strength to cope with future challenges.

Kroitz expressed satisfaction with Sephiroth's cooperation, then led him to the Laboratory in the research institute. The Laboratory was bustling, with engineers working intensely, striving for Umbrella Corporation's upgrade plan.

"This is the latest intelligent security system developed by Headquarters. It can automatically sense and identify potential threats, as well as quickly respond to and deal with various attacks," Kroitz introduced to Sephiroth.

Sephiroth quietly observed everything in the Laboratory. He knew these Scientists and engineers were working hard, solely for the safety of the Umbrella Corporation branch.

"This is the new eisenach battle armor for the Aizenak Armor Legion. It possesses stronger offensive and defensive capabilities, allowing warriors to better confront enemies," Kroitz continued to introduce.

Sephiroth looked at the eisenach battle armor before him. He knew that these equipment upgrades were crucial for the entire team.

On the other side of the Laboratory, biochemical engineering research was also in full swing. They were developing more advanced biochemical weapons and technologies to enhance the team's combat power.

The entire research institute was filled with an atmosphere of innovation and hope. Engineers constantly tried new theories and experiments, adding new hope for the future of Umbrella Corporation.

"Sephiroth, I know you don't care about this equipment and technology, but they are very important for Umbrella Corporation. Only with strong power can we stand invincible against the threat of HYDRA," Kroitz explained to Sephiroth.

"No, it's just that I don't need these myself, but everyone at Umbrella Corporation does," Sephiroth said solemnly...

After the great battle with the Chitauri, Tony Stark successfully thwarted the alien invasion threat. However, this battle left him with severe psychological trauma. He returned to his private Villa in the Maldives and began a solitary journey.

Every nightfall, Tony would be awakened by nightmares. Scenes from the battle constantly replayed in his mind, keeping him awake night after night. In his dreams, he saw the endless legions of the Chitauri, saw himself and his companions fighting alone, saw countless people sacrificed in battle, and Pepper Potts.

During the day, he tried to find solutions, working hard to keep himself busy. However, no matter how hard he tried, the nightmares of the night still lingered in his mind, unable to be shaken off. He began to alienate his friends, especially Pepper Potts, unwilling to share his troubles with her. He felt his heart becoming increasingly lonely, unable to communicate with anyone.

In his Villa in the Maldives, he locked himself in the Laboratory, frantically conducting research. He tried to find a way to resolve his inner trauma through technology, but everything was in vain. His body and mind were exhausted, yet he couldn't stop, couldn't face his psychological problems.

Pepper Potts noticed Tony's change. She was anxious to help him, but Tony always kept her at arm's length. He believed his problems could only be solved by himself, unwilling to let others see his vulnerable side.

One night, he was awakened by a nightmare again. This time, his good friend Bruce Banner (Hulk) appeared in the dream, giving Tony a warning look, as if hinting at something. Tony was stunned. He realized that he had been escaping his inner problems, and these problems were precisely what he needed to face and resolve.

The next day, Tony finally decided to face his inner self.

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the window into the bedroom. Tony lay in bed, his eyes hazy. He had been awake all night, exhausted by nightmares. He knew he couldn't run away anymore; he had to face his inner fears and trauma.

Pepper Potts walked into the bedroom and saw Tony's pale face and tired expression. Her heart ached for him. She quietly walked to the bedside, gently patted Tony's shoulder, and softly said, "Tony, are you alright?"

Tony turned his head and looked into Pepper's eyes, which were filled with exhaustion and vulnerability. He finally let go of his long-held strength and arrogance, confiding in Pepper about his psychological trauma and the restless nightmares he had every night. He told her that after the Chitauri battle, he had been plagued by inner shadows, feeling unable to escape fear and anxiety.

Pepper listened quietly, not interrupting him, just gently holding his hand, signaling that he needn't worry, she would always be by his side.

"I feel like I can't go on like this," Tony's voice trembled slightly. "I've always been a strong Iron Man, but now I feel like I can't hold on."

Pepper stroked his hair and softly said, "Tony, you are also a person, you have feelings, and you have the right to be afraid, to be vulnerable. You don't always have to play the role of a hero. We all know what a great and brave person you are, but you are also an ordinary person, with the same vulnerabilities and need for understanding as others."

"But I don't want you to worry, I don't want you to see my vulnerable side," Tony said somewhat dejectedly.

Pepper hugged him tightly and gently said, "I love you, whether you are the strong Iron Man or the vulnerable Tony Stark. You don't have to face all the pressure and pain alone. We are one, and we will always be together, facing everything together."

Tony felt Pepper's warmth and comfort. He knew he wasn't alone; he had Pepper by his side supporting him. His eyes welled up. He had never thought he would be so vulnerable in front of someone else, but at this moment, he felt relieved and at peace.

"Thank you, Pepper," Tony hugged her tightly, his voice full of gratitude and warmth. "With you by my side, I feel like I can overcome anything."

Pepper gently patted his back and softly said, "Yes, we will always be together, facing all difficulties and challenges. You don't have to bear everything alone. I will always support you and walk with you through every moment."

With Pepper's companionship, Tony began to receive psychological therapy, seeking inner balance. He also gradually opened up, starting to share his feelings with friends. They formed a small group, meeting regularly each week to talk and help each other relieve psychological pressure.

During the therapy process, Tony also realized that everything he experienced in battle was inevitable. He began to accept that he was a person with weaknesses, not an invincible Iron Man. He learned to face fear and difficulties, using courage to confront his inner trauma.

As time passed, Tony's night nightmares gradually decreased, and he began to be able to sleep peacefully. He slowly emerged from the shadows, regaining his strength and confidence. He also realized that his friends and family were his strongest support, and only by joining hands with them could they face future challenges together.

Meanwhile, Terrorists known as "Extremis Soldiers" launched a series of terrorist attacks globally, causing countless Deaths.

The first attack occurred in a bustling commercial district. People were busy shopping and working when suddenly, a loud explosion rang out, and the entire block instantly plunged into chaos. Extremis Soldiers detonated a powerful bomb, causing dozens of people to die on the spot, and many more were injured by the Impact and shrapnel of the bomb. Screams, cries, and sirens intertwined, forming a terrifying scene.

Next, Extremis Soldiers launched a second attack at a crowded train station. Dressed in black camouflage, with cold faces, they wielded cold weapons, indiscriminately shooting at innocent passengers. People fled in all directions, but there was nowhere to escape. The train station instantly became a sea of blood, with countless casualties.

Soon after, Extremis Soldiers launched another terrorist attack at a bustling shopping center. They mingled with the crowd, then suddenly pulled out weapons and opened fire on the surrounding people. The shopping center was in chaos, with people frantically searching for places to take shelter. The actions of the Extremis Soldiers were like the arrival of a demon, making people feel endless fear and despair.

The attack by the Extremis Soldiers not only instilled fear in ordinary citizens, but also left the government and Military helpless. They tried to track and capture the Extremis Soldiers, but the Extremis Soldiers moved swiftly, disappearing like ghosts into thin air.

War Machine Rhodes stood in the Military command center, staring intently at the Extremis Soldiers' movements displayed on the surveillance screen. The Extremis Soldiers' attack left them feeling helpless, but Rhodes knew he had to step forward, fulfilling his responsibility as War Machine and a soldier to protect the people from Terrorists.

"Rhodes, are you ready?" a general asked.

"Ready," Rhodes replied firmly.

Rhodes Rhodes, clad in his black War Machine armor, was tall and mighty, appearing exceptionally powerful. He accepted the mission, determined to protect the people from the Extremis Soldiers' harm.

Intelligence revealed that the Extremis Soldiers' next target was an important energy facility. Rhodes quickly rushed to the location and began searching from the air. Soon after, he discovered the Extremis Soldiers' tracks; they were heading towards the energy facility.

Rhodes immediately landed in front of the Extremis Soldiers. He solemnly declared, "Stop your acts of terror! Now, drop all your weapons."

The leader of the Extremis Soldiers sneered, "War Machine, you so-called Guardians of justice, are nothing but running dogs maintaining the status quo. We, the Extremis Soldiers, are the masters of this World; we will plunge the entire World into chaos and fear."

Rhodes ignored the Extremis Soldiers' arrogance; he knew it wasn't the time for talk. He swiftly launched an attack, laser beams and missiles firing from the War Machine's armor, heading straight for the Extremis Soldiers.

The Extremis Soldiers launched a fierce assault, continuously releasing high-temperature energy towards Rhodes. Rhodes deftly dodged the attacks while retaliating with the War Machine armor's firepower. Fire flashed and explosions roared across the battlefield, creating a hellish scene.

Rhodes was highly experienced in combat; he knew that to deal with the Extremis Soldiers, he had to find their weaknesses. He observed the Extremis Soldiers' attack methods and discovered that while their self-healing abilities were good, their attack range was limited. Thus, Rhodes decided to maintain his distance and attack with the War Machine armor's long-range weapons.

He maneuvered the War Machine, flying back and forth across the battlefield, continuously using missiles and energy beams to defeat the Extremis Soldiers. Although the Extremis Soldiers were powerful, they had to constantly dodge Rhodes' War Machine's firepower.

However, the Extremis Soldiers were not so easily defeated. They displayed extraordinary vitality and recovery capabilities in battle; even after suffering severe damage, they could recover quickly.

The battle entered a stalemate, and Rhodes realized he had to adopt a more aggressive tactic. He activated the War Machine's most powerful weapons, launching a ferocious attack. High-energy laser beams, electromagnetic pulses, and missiles fired simultaneously, instantly forming a destructive assault.

The Extremis Soldiers were completely suppressed by this fierce attack, finding themselves in a desperate situation, forced to scatter and dodge Rhodes' firepower. However, even under such powerful attacks, the Extremis Soldiers' vitality remained astonishing; though injured, they were not defeated.

Rhodes knew that such a battle could not continue indefinitely; he had to find a better way to deal with the Extremis Soldiers. A sudden flash of inspiration struck him, and he thought of a possible solution. He adjusted the War Machine armor's systems to maximum power and began scanning the Extremis Soldiers.

"It seems your Extremis Soldiers' energy source is unstable," Rhodes said coldly. "Your self-healing abilities require a large amount of energy support, and this also exposes your weakness."

The Extremis Soldiers' leader glared at Rhodes but could not deny his words. The Extremis Soldiers indeed needed a large amount of energy to maintain their self-healing abilities, which also made them vulnerable to attack.

"You think you've found our weakness? Ridiculous!" the Extremis Soldiers' leader scoffed. "Our strength comes from despair and fear."

Rhodes decided to exploit the Extremis Soldiers' weakness. He quickly calculated tactics, using the War Machine armor's high-energy beams and electromagnetic pulses to interfere with the heat supply within the Extremis Soldiers' bodies. The Extremis Soldiers felt their strength gradually wane, falling into a temporary state of powerlessness.

Rhodes seized this opportunity, mercilessly launching a series of attacks on the Extremis Soldiers. The War Machine's firepower relentlessly unleashed upon the Extremis Soldiers' bodies; one by one, they fell, no longer able to self-heal.

"Is this what you call mastery? What you pursue is despair and destruction, while what we pursue is hope and freedom," Rhodes said coldly.

The Extremis Soldiers' leader's face contorted, screaming in despair as his last vestige of strength was utterly crushed. Their reign of terror ended; Rhodes defeated the Extremis Soldiers, protecting people's lives and safety.

"Hahaha, you will lose, you will definitely lose. The great Mandarin will rule this World, whether it's you or those Superheroes, the ultimate victor will surely be My Lord Mandarin," the Extremis Soldiers' leader finished, his entire body suddenly swelling with heat.

"Mandarin?"

The Extremis Soldiers' leader's last words made Rhodes uneasy. He knew Mandarin was a dangerous enemy, and his power and plans were terrifying. But at this moment, Rhodes had to resolve the immediate crisis first.

The Extremis Soldiers' leader's body heat continuously rose, forming a flame-like glow, emitting a scorching aura. The other Extremis Soldiers also continuously accumulated heat; they seemed to transform their bodies into a Sun, releasing destructive energy.

Rhodes hurriedly maneuvered his War Machine into the air, moving away from the Extremis Soldiers' leader's self-destruct range. He saw the Extremis Soldiers' leader's entire body emit a scorching crimson glow, like a Sun about to explode.

As Rhodes' War Machine ascended, the Extremis Soldiers' leader's body became exceptionally hot, like a giant fireball. The energy around him rapidly accumulated, forming a layer of scorching crimson light that was too intense to look at directly.

The other Extremis Soldiers also began to undergo similar transformations, continuously releasing high-temperature energy, instantly turning the battlefield into a sea of Fire. The temperature rapidly rose, and the air was filled with a scorching aura, making one feel as if they were in a hellish environment.

Rhodes realized that the Extremis Soldiers' leader was about to self-destruct, and this self-destruction would produce a devastating explosion of considerable power. He had to act quickly to prevent this disaster from happening.

"Damn it!" Rhodes' heart was anxious. He maneuvered his War Machine, attempting to use a powerful electromagnetic pulse to interfere with the Extremis Soldiers' leader's energy. But the Extremis Soldiers' leader was already completely controlled; his body seemed to have become an energy bomb, ready to detonate at any moment.

At the same time, the other Extremis Soldiers also rushed towards the energy facility, attempting to prevent it from being destroyed. Their eyes were ferocious, filled with madness and rage.

Rhodes had to fully commit himself to the battle, deftly dodging the Extremis Soldiers' attacks while searching for the best moment to deal with the leader.

"I cannot let you destroy this energy facility, or the consequences will be unimaginable!" Rhodes warned loudly.

The Extremis Soldiers' leader, however, howled, "This World is destined to fall. You so-called Guardians will only delay the inevitable and ultimately fail."

Rhodes did not respond; he knew it was not the time for debate. He had to find a solution quickly, or the consequences would be dire.

During the battle, Rhodes finally found a breakthrough. He discovered that the Extremis Soldiers' leader's energy was concentrated in a specific location on his body; if he could destroy this location, he might be able to prevent his self-destruction.

Rhodes immediately adjusted the War Machine's firepower, aiming precisely at the Extremis Soldiers' leader's weakness. He continuously unleashed laser beams and missiles, fiercely bombarding the leader's body.

The Extremis Soldiers' leader felt the threat from Rhodes; he roared, trying to stop Rhodes' attack. However, his body was already too weak to withstand such a powerful blow.

Rhodes' attacks grew fiercer; the Extremis Soldiers' leader roared in pain, his body trembling continuously. With the final Impact, he finally collapsed, letting out an earth-shattering explosion.

The explosion was immense, Fire engulfed everything, and the entire battlefield was swept into a destructive force. Rhodes was pushed far away by the Impact of the explosion, but he stabilized himself, doing his best to protect himself from harm.

When the flames gradually receded, only ruins remained on the battlefield. The Extremis Soldiers' leader was gone; his self-destruction brought devastating power, and the other Extremis Soldiers also vanished in the explosion.

Rhodes stood amidst the ruins, his War Machine armor severely damaged, but he still stood tall. His gaze was firm; he knew that although this battle was won, the threat of the Extremis Soldiers was not completely eliminated.

"Mandarin, who exactly are you? What exactly do you want?" Rhodes murmured to himself, his heart filled with questions.

Rhodes realized that Mandarin was an even more powerful and terrifying enemy, and their Extremis Soldiers were only a part of Mandarin's plan. Their attack was just the beginning; a greater threat was quietly approaching... That man stood in a dimly lit room, face to face with a representative of a mysterious force. His mood was tense and anxious, but for his beloved daughter, he made up his mind.

"I agree to your terms, as long as you can let my daughter grow up healthy," he said, his voice slightly trembling but firm. In his eyes, only his daughter's safety was paramount; he was willing to give everything.

"A pleasure working with you."

"A pleasure working with you."

The mysterious force's representative smiled in response, their voices filled with an unspeakable sense of Shadow. In the dim light of the room, the man felt as if he had fallen into an unpredictable situation.

War Machine, Rhodey, lay in a military hospital bed, covered in thick bandages.

Though a smile graced his face, his eyes revealed exhaustion and pain.

He had sustained serious injuries in the previous fierce battle with the Extremis soldiers, but he had no regrets, knowing he fought to protect the people.

As he was lost in the silence of the hospital room, footsteps approached from outside.

"Rhodey, we're here to see you!" a warm voice called out as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts entered the room together, carrying some gifts.

"Hey, old friend, you're a real hero!" Tony joked, waving to Rhodey, a bag full of snacks in his hand.

"Yes, Rhodey, you're truly amazing!" Pepper also praised with a smile, handing Rhodey a bouquet of fresh flowers.

Rhodey smiled, and despite his injuries, his mood was exceptionally cheerful.

He said with emotion, "You two are really good at comforting people.

These minor injuries are nothing; I can still go back into battle."

"Oh, you're just proving you have an iron will!" Tony teased again.

Rhodey, not to be outdone, retorted with a laugh, "Haha, you know I'm War Machine; dealing with an engineer like you is child's play."

The three of them joked around in the hospital room, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The gifts from Tony and Pepper made Rhodey feel warm, and he said with emotion, "Thank you, really.

It means a lot that you came to see me; I feel much better."

"How could we not come to see you? You're our good friend, and a great hero!" Pepper said softly.

Tony continued, "That's right, Rhodey, you're a brave warrior, and we're all proud of you."

"Alright, enough with the compliments," Rhodey interrupted their praise with a smile, "How did you two end up coming together?"

Pepper explained with a smile, "Tony said he was coming to see you, so I came along and bought some snacks."

"I know these snacks are your favorite," Pepper handed Rhodey the bag, which contained various flavors of potato chips and candies.

"Thank you both so much," Rhodey said gratefully.

Next, the three chatted about everyday life, discussing recent interesting events and work.

Tony still made jokes from time to time, making Rhodey laugh.

Pepper gently inquired about Rhodey's injuries, reminding him to rest well.

After the small talk, Tony's expression gradually grew serious.

He looked at Rhodey intently and asked, "Rhodey, who were those terrorists you encountered in battle?"

Rhodey was a bit curious internally; shouldn't Tony, with his personality, already know something beforehand?

But then he thought, perhaps Tony only knew a general idea.

Rhodey frowned, recalling the battle.

"They called themselves 'Extremis soldiers,' and their leader seemed to be called 'the Mandarin.'

Their power is very strong, and they have strange self-healing abilities, almost like supernatural beings.

They also seem to be able to control high temperatures."

"High temperatures?" Tony Stark raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile on his face.

"Bastard, what are you thinking!" Pepper knew at a glance that Tony next to her was up to his tricks again, so she punched him on the head.

Tony Stark looked at Pepper in pain, while Pepper stood with her hands on her hips, giving him a fake, closed-mouth smile.

"Alright, I surrender."

Then he looked at Rhodey and said, "This 'Mandarin' seems very interesting.

This 'Mandarin' sounds like an organized terrorist force, and their abilities are not simple."

"Yes, I think so too.

I believe there must be some kind of technology or supernatural power behind their self-healing abilities," Rhodey said seriously.

Tony nodded.

He decided that after returning, he would have J.A.R.V.I.S. collect information about the word "Mandarin."

Perhaps this force was hidden behind the scenes, and there might be an even larger conspiracy at play.

"Rhodey, you need to rest well.

When you recover, I'll throw you a private party," Tony encouraged, giving him a knowing wink.

Rhodey smiled and quickly blinked his eyes, indicating that he had received the message and would be ready for a three-hundred-round fight when he recovered.

Inside the bank lobby, a group of robbers, armed with cold weapons, menacingly threatened the hostages.

They had already injected the Extremis virus, strengthening their abilities, and their bodies quickly recovered from bullet wounds.

One of the robbers shouted loudly, "Don't move! Otherwise, you'll suffer the consequences!"

The hostages huddled together in fear, and the atmosphere in the bank became tense and oppressive.

After the robbers injected the Extremis virus, they felt incredibly powerful, as if they had become invincible beings, and this feeling made them mad and brutal.

At this moment, a security guard tried to resist but was easily knocked to the ground by a robber.

The robbers laughed triumphantly, believing they had the situation under control.

Just then, a flash of electricity streaked by, and a hero in a lightning suit appeared at the entrance of the bank lobby.

"Stop! Drop your weapons!" Electro's voice was chilling.

"Damn it! It's Electro."

The robbers trembled when they saw Electro appear.

Although they possessed the abilities granted by the Extremis virus, facing a true superhero like Electro, they immediately felt immense pressure.

However, some of the robbers, whose bodies had not fully adapted to the Extremis virus, began to show symptoms of rejection.

Their bodies gradually became abnormally hot, as if they could self-destruct at any moment.

"Damn it, these guys can't control the Extremis virus!" one robber screamed in terror.

In the chaos, a robber suddenly lunged at Electro, attempting to use his enhanced abilities against him.

However, Electro moved swiftly, easily evading the robber's attack and punching him in the chest.

The robber was struck by Electro's electrical surge, his body instantly convulsed, and he ultimately fell to the ground, no longer moving.

"Who else?" Electro coldly scanned the other robbers, his tone full of warning.

The remaining robbers, terrified by Electro's formidable power, trembled and threw down their weapons, not daring to cause any more trouble.

And for those robbers who had not fully adapted to the Extremis virus and were showing symptoms of rejection, it was as if their hearts had gone cold, and for some reason, the rejection symptoms quickly subsided.

"Arrest them!" Suddenly, the police force arrived at the bank and handcuffed them one by one with gloves.

"You'd better be careful not to put too much pressure on them; they might explode," Electro said to the police chief nearby.

The police chief, who had expected Electro to fly away immediately after solving the problem, was stunned when he didn't leave and instead informed him about these people.

"Explode?"

"Yes, explode."

Electro had also been investigating the masterminds behind these people recently, but without exception, these Extremis soldiers were all buyers, not the true "sellers."

Although for a moment he had thought of going to the H.O.K. Group, he immediately shook his head.

And at that moment, Electro noticed that the open television screen was currently playing a video.

On the television screen, the image of the Mandarin appeared.

He was dressed in luxurious clothing, with an arrogant and conceited demeanor.

Behind him was a massive national flag, and he stood in a lavish hall, exuding an extraordinary aura.

"Dear American government, I declare war on you!" the Mandarin's voice was loud and majestic, "I represent the Extremis soldiers, and we will plunge all of America into fear and chaos!"

The screen showed the Mandarin's Extremis soldiers, each with a fanatical expression, as if they had been incited by the Mandarin's words.

"This country of yours is corroded by hypocrisy and corruption.

Your government, in order to maintain so-called 'justice,' has betrayed its trust.

They actually call us, the people abandoned by society, 'Extremis soldiers.'

Are we only fit to be called 'terrorists' in your mouths?"

The Mandarin's words were filled with anger and dissatisfaction.

He spoke in an impassioned tone, expressing strong accusations against the injustice and hypocrisy of American society.

"This country of yours is built on deception and lies.

Your hero, Iron Man, is nothing but a liar, a hypocrite who manipulates people with technology and money."

Then, the Mandarin stared intently at the screen, as if he wanted to speak to someone in particular.

"War Machine, are you listening too?" The Mandarin turned to the other side of the screen, as if he could see with his eyes the location of everyone watching the television, "You are America's hero, but you cannot stop our advance.

I will give you one last chance: surrender and join us, or you will face destruction!"

"Now, it's time for you to pay the price!" The Mandarin's voice changed, becoming cold and ruthless, "From now on, every Tuesday, I will display a scene that will fill you with terror, until your government submits to me, until you recognize this hypocritical society."

"I will make you tremble at my feet, make you taste despair!

You are nothing but my pawns; I will make you witness the collapse of this nation!" The Mandarin's voice grew louder and more piercing.

The Mandarin's threat sent a chill through the hearts of all Americans.

His terrorist attacks instilled fear in ordinary citizens, attracting widespread attention and panic.

People watched in front of their televisions, feeling uneasy and afraid.

In the military hospital room, Rhodey lay in bed, staring intently at the Mandarin on the television screen.

He felt the Mandarin's desire for him in his words, as if, in the depths of his being, he was telling Rhodey that this opponent before him would be the most powerful enemy he had encountered to date.

Tony returned to his Malibu Villa.

Jarvis's voice rang out: "Welcome back, sir. Would you like to inquire about the Mandarin?"

"Yes, Jarvis. I need to know everything about the Mandarin. His identity, his background, his goals, any clues we can find," Tony replied.

Jarvis quickly initiated a search, and information about the Mandarin began to display on the screen.

"The Mandarin, true name: unknown, identity: Terrorists, true identity unconfirmed. He is an extremist who leads a terrorist organization called Extremis Soldiers. According to the search, the name Mandarin is a title for a high-ranking individual in an Eastern country, known as an outstanding strategist and schemer."

Tony frowned and continued to ask: "Does he have any other special titles or aliases?"

Jarvis responded: "The Mandarin is the leader of the Extremis Soldiers. He is called the 'Savior' and holds a revered position within the terrorist organization. He claims he wants to plunge the entire World into despair and chaos, to rule over everything."

"Did you just get that from the internet?" Tony picked up an apple and threw it at the robotic arm controlled by Jarvis.

"Yes, sir," Jarvis replied.

Tony Stark took a bottle of wine from his freezer, poured a glass, and began to drink.

At the same time, he pondered, realizing the danger and cunning of this enemy. The Mandarin's true identity had never been revealed; he seemed to deliberately hide everything, making it impossible for anyone to easily trace him.

"Jarvis, continue to search for the Mandarin's movements, see if there are any other clues," Tony said.

Jarvis continued the search, but quickly came to a conclusion that surprised Tony: "Mr. Tony, according to current data, we cannot obtain detailed information about the Mandarin. He seems to be like a ghost, his whereabouts difficult to track, all clues leading to nothingness."

Tony's brow furrowed tightly; he sensed the Mandarin's hidden methods. This enemy was indeed extraordinary, making it impossible to guard against him.

"Alright, Jarvis. Continue to gather intelligence on the Extremis Soldiers and look for any information that might be related to the Mandarin. We cannot stop; we must find his weakness and stop his terrorist actions," Tony said, his gaze firm and resolute.

Pepper Potts, back at Stark Industries working, received a call from her secretary. Aldrich Killian, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, actually wanted to meet her.

So Pepper Potts tidied herself up slightly before returning to her office. Not long after, Aldrich Killian walked in. He was a robust, short-haired middle-aged man, dressed in formal business attire, looking very mysterious and imposing.

"Aldrich, long time no see," Pepper smiled, breaking the silence.

"Pepper, you look very well," Aldrich smiled in response, a hint of depth in his voice.

"What can I do for you?" Pepper asked, feeling a bit confused by this sudden meeting.

"I heard you're fighting against the Mandarin's organization, is that right?" Aldrich suddenly asked, his gaze sharp as he looked at Pepper.

Pepper was slightly stunned, not expecting him to mention the Mandarin. She didn't know what Aldrich's relationship was with this mysterious Terrorists.

"Yes," Pepper glanced at Aldrich and nodded.

Aldrich nodded, his expression still unfathomable: "You need more information to deal with the Mandarin, and I might be able to offer some help."

Pepper looked at him in surprise: "You know information about the Mandarin?"

"I know some. In fact, I once had contact with him," Aldrich said, a hint of complex emotion in his tone.

A hint of doubt and surprise arose in Pepper's heart. She hadn't expected Aldrich to have had contact with the Mandarin. But she knew this was an important clue, which might help them find the Mandarin's weakness.

"Please tell me everything you know," Pepper said, suppressing her inner surprise, her gaze firm.

Aldrich took a deep breath and began to recount his past interactions with the Mandarin, as well as the Mandarin's identity and background. As his words unfolded, Pepper was shocked to discover that Extremis actually had some connection to Stark Industries.

"You mean, Tony was involved in the formula for this Extremis?" Pepper Potts's doubts instantly soared to their peak, and she began to feel suspicious of Aldrich, whom she hadn't seen in a long time and had originally felt quite good about.

"I only know that much," Aldrich said with a very sincere attitude.

"Then why did you…?" Pepper Potts paused, looking at him.

"At that time, I was down and out. I thought I could gain Tony's appreciation, but…" Aldrich's expression was a bit bitter, somewhat difficult to articulate.

"Hmm." Pepper Potts knew about Tony's reputation at the time, so she immediately felt a little pity and understanding for Aldrich.

She understood that Aldrich at the time might have been swayed by momentary impulse and misguided.

"I know I was wrong now, Pepper. I regret my decision back then, and I hope to help you fight against the Mandarin and the Extremis Soldiers," Aldrich said, his gaze firm and sincere.

"Do you know the Mandarin's plan? What exactly does he want to do?" Pepper asked, eager for more information to confront this mysterious enemy.

Aldrich nodded: "The Mandarin seems to crave control over the entire World. His ultimate goal is to plunge the World into chaos and despair, to make everyone submit to his rule. He commands a powerful Extremis Soldiers terrorist organization; these people have been injected with Extremis and have become powerful and uncontrollable."

"Extremis Soldiers…" Pepper frowned.

"Aldrich, are you willing to help us?" Pepper asked.

"Yes, Pepper. I hope to atone for my mistakes and make amends for past errors. I will do my best to provide all the information and support I know," Aldrich said solemnly.

"Thank you," Pepper Potts hugged Aldrich.

"But I'm doing pretty well now, you see." Aldrich changed the subject, gesturing for Pepper to look at his designer clothes.

"Congratulations. I'm happy for you to see you successful in your career now," Pepper helped Aldrich straighten his clothes… Aldrich, walking out of Stark Industries, smiled and waved to Pepper Potts, who was seeing him off, before getting into his car.

Instantly, Aldrich's face turned gloomy.

All of this.

It was not originally part of his plan. He had only one goal: to get revenge on Tony Stark and eliminate the President at the same time.

However, all this happened when he was on his way to the conference room to discuss plans and countermeasures with his think tank. The moment he pushed open the door, Aldrich was surprised to find that all the members of the think tank in the conference room had been eliminated.

At the same time, in the main seat, a wavy-haired beauty in an elegant long dress and high-heeled sandals was reading a plan.

Noticing Aldrich's arrival, the woman threw the plan book in her hand to the ground and looked disdainfully at the dead people on the floor.

"Is this the plan from the think tank you hired?"

"A pile of dog shit."

The woman elegantly walked towards Aldrich, looking at him teasingly.

"You're not really going to use a method like that, are you?"

Then she stood only a centimeter away from Aldrich, leaned her face on his shoulder, and whispered in his ear: "Then you'll lose everything, even your underwear."

Aldrich was not swayed by the beauty; instead, he raised both hands and stepped back, while looking around cautiously. "Who are you?" For the other party to enter here so silently, either her strength was abnormal, or her backing was immense.

"Me?" The woman leaned her long legs on the conference table and said: "Since you used the name Mandarin, why can't I be the Mandarin?"

"No," Aldrich shook his head: "You absolutely cannot be the Mandarin."

The woman didn't intend to say more; instead, she stepped forward and said: "I don't like your plan, so."

The woman reached out and pulled Aldrich's tie, whispering in his ear: "I want you to use my plan."

"The 'Snake' Plan."

Aldrich came back to his senses, wondering deep down if he should really continue cooperating with such a mysterious organization whose situation he didn't understand.

However, Aldrich also thought of the resources and connections the other party provided.

"Then let's see who laughs last." Aldrich's face was twisted, the heat of Extremis surging within him… "It seems it's time to send some gifts to Tony Stark." Baker looked at the Mandarin's declaration of war against America and the veiled hints in his words towards Iron Man and War Machine, smiling wickedly.

And here with Nathan Hawke.

Nathan Hawke was currently frowning at his secretary.

The secretary's words made him feel a conspiracy, and he immediately issued an order for his employees to strictly avoid mentioning this topic within the company.

"The IRS would actually come to the company to inquire about corporate tax issues?"

This made him smell a conspiracy. Recently, besides Electro who was fighting crime and truly acting as a Superhero, everyone else was either preparing for new movies, cultivating, or engaged in scientific research. Even Nathan Hawke himself was diligently cultivating his various abilities and hadn't paid much attention to the outside World.

Although he had acquired a lot of technology, the development after research completion and cost suppression to achieve stable quality was a protracted war.

Don't look at Ivan Vanko having many iron man armors in Wanke Technology at the time; after Nathan Hawke investigated, he found that, except for a very few armors developed with excellent materials and technology, most of them were substandard, with performance far below his expectations.

"The IRS inquiry might just be a smokescreen; it's very likely that someone is manipulating things behind the scenes." Nathan Hawke frowned. He attached great importance to the company's operations and would never allow anyone to harm the company.

America Chavez was leaving.

At the Umbrella Corporation experimental facility, America Chavez thanked Nathan Hawke and Zhan Ji Lingma, saying, "Thank you, Big Brother Nathan and Big Brother Zhan Ji Lingma, for taking care of me during this time."

America Chavez's eyes revealed deep reluctance. Although she hadn't had much in-depth contact with Nathan Hawke and his group since arriving in this World, this period of time in this World could be said to be the most stable, comfortable, and enjoyable.

And this also made America Chavez even more determined to leave.

"Are you really not considering taking the eisenach battle armor?" Zhan Ji Lingma asked.

America Chavez shook her head firmly, saying, "No, I want to properly train my abilities."

"Alright then, but you must wear this." Zhan Ji Lingma threw an Artificial Intelligence watch over. Seeing her take it, he said, "It's a weak Artificial Intelligence. I can't give you a full Artificial Intelligence with this size."

"Thank you, thank you so much," America Chavez said gratefully.

Nathan Hawke glanced at Zhan Ji Lingma, who tilted his head in response.

Watching America Chavez fail to open a portal five times before finally succeeding on the sixth attempt, looking a bit embarrassed, Nathan Hawke waved goodbye, saying, "Come visit often when you have time!"

Hearing this, America Chavez stumbled, then waved her arms widely to bid them farewell.

After America Chavez had left.

Zhan Ji Lingma gestured for Nathan Hawke to join him, and Nathan Hawke was also curious about what this guy was up to.

Zhan Ji Lingma sat on the sofa in the experimental facility and, facing Nathan Hawke, began to explain his theories about parallel universes and the multiverse.

"Boss, you told me that parallel universes exist in this World, and at first, I was half-believing. But the longer I lived in this World, the more interested I became in this concept and conducted some research," Zhan Ji Lingma said.

He leaned back on the sofa, looking relaxed and confident, and continued, "According to the theories I understand, parallel universes refer to multiple Universes that are similar to our Universe but independent of each other. Each parallel universe has a different history, different decisions and choices, and different developments in reality."

"So, every choice and decision leads to a different branched Universe," Nathan Hawke said.

Zhan Ji Lingma nodded: "Exactly. Every possible choice creates a branched Universe. For example, at a certain point in time, you can choose to go left, or you can choose to go right. These two choices will lead to two different parallel universes, where you go left in One Universe and right in another."

"Then that means there are countless parallel universes, each with a different reality."

"According to theory, the number of parallel universes is almost infinite. Each Universe is an independent reality, containing its own unique history, civilization, and life forms. These Universes exist in parallel and do not interfere with each other."

"So, can these parallel universes travel between each other?" Zhan Ji Lingma then posed this question.

Zhan Ji Lingma thought for a moment: "According to current research, the possibility of travel between parallel universes exists, but to achieve such travel, specific energy or technology is required. In the real World, we have not yet found conclusive evidence to prove whether parallel universes can truly connect with each other."

"Ryoma, what specific research and understanding do you have regarding parallel universes?" Nathan Hawke asked curiously.

Zhan Ji Lingma smiled and said, "Boss, I've studied many theories and stories about parallel universes. Some theories suggest that parallel universes might intersect and influence each other, like a complex spiderweb, where each node connects to countless branches. And some stories depict adventures across parallel universes, where people can enter other Universes through some means to explore different realities and Worlds."

"Oh, right, you said America wants to train her abilities. What do you think of her potential?" Nathan Hawke suddenly remembered the previous topic.

Zhan Ji Lingma immediately became somewhat mysterious: "Boss, America is a very special being. Her ability is unique; she can travel between different parallel universes. Her ability allows her to freely travel between different parallel universes. She can go to other Universes to find resources and also learn about the knowledge and technology of other Universes."

"That's truly an incredible ability," Nathan Hawke exclaimed, "She's a very talented individual with great potential."

"However, with her sense of justice, she wouldn't be able to do such things," Nathan Hawke shook his head.

"Yes, I think so too. She is a very special girl, and I believe she will achieve great things in the future," Zhan Ji Lingma said.

The two paused their discussion on this topic.

"Tell me, did you add something extra to the watch?" Knowing Zhan Ji Lingma well, he confidently concluded that the other party had added something extra to the watch.

Zhan Ji Lingma heard Nathan Hawke's words and revealed a mysterious smile. "Boss truly understands me."

"Of course," Nathan Hawke also smiled, "But what are you doing?"

Zhan Ji Lingma pulled a miniature crystal from his pocket and said with a smile, "I added this crystal to the watch; it's a device for storing and transmitting information. America is leaving now, and I think leaving this crystal in her watch can help her better explore other parallel universes and acquire more resources and knowledge."

"Then you'd better pray that she doesn't break the watch and can return in the future."

"Heh, just a small contingency."

Next was another topic.

"RIS?" Zhan Ji Lingma looked surprised, then walked to his command center.

"Sage."

"Yes, Mr. Zhan Ji Lingma," an electronic synthetic voice sounded, and a pixelated machine face appeared on the screen.

"Is our Artificial Intelligence deployment ready?" Nathan Hawke said after seeing this scene.

"The headquarters is almost deployed, just waiting for the European branch," Zhan Ji Lingma replied, then said to Sage, "Collect the latest news from RIS."

Sage immediately displayed the latest news from RIS.

"According to the latest intelligence, RIS recently began investigating a company called 'Stark Industries' regarding the company's tax issues. They suspect Stark Industries of tax irregularities and are intensifying their investigation."

"Tony Stark's company also has RIS knocking on its door?" Nathan Hawke was not aware of this.

"Yes, according to this morning's records, after RIS approached Stark Industries, there was another incident where Tony Stark issued a challenge to the terrorist organization 'Mandarin' on camera," Sage replied.

"Do you have a video?" Nathan Hawke said.

"Yes, President Nathan Hawke," Sage replied, then played a video.

In the video, he stood in front of the gate of Stark Industries. Reporters held various voice recorders and cameras, eagerly asking about the RIS investigation and the Mandarin's declaration of war.

Amidst a cacophony of voices, reporters eagerly posed their questions.

"Mr. Stark, we hear that RIS is conducting a tax investigation into Stark Industries. What is your response to this?"

Tony Stark smiled, appearing very composed. He nodded slightly and replied, "Regarding the RIS investigation, we will fully cooperate and ensure that all tax documents and information are compliant. As a responsible enterprise, Stark Industries has always complied with all tax laws and regulations."

"Then, do you believe this investigation is a deliberate setup against Stark Industries?" another reporter immediately followed up.

Tony smiled and shook his head: "We will not casually speculate on others' intentions. RIS is a professional agency, and their investigation is to ensure tax transparency and fairness. We believe they will handle this matter seriously and find the truth."

When asked about the Mandarin's declaration of war, Tony Stark's expression became serious. He said with a firm voice, "We cannot tolerate the existence of terrorist armed elements; their actions have caused harm to innocent people. I will cooperate with the government to take all necessary measures to protect the safety of the country and its people."

As for the disparagement of War Machine and Iron Man, Tony Stark responded with a smile: "People always have different views and opinions. I believe my actions and decisions will ultimately prove him wrong."

After concluding the reporters' questions, Tony Stark turned to the camera, his expression gradually becoming angry and resolute. He did not shy away but unhesitatingly began to issue a challenge to the Mandarin.

Tony Stark clenched his fists, his gaze becoming sharp and determined: "Mandarin, you think you can threaten our country and our people, then you are gravely mistaken! I am Iron Man, I represent justice and freedom, and I will not let your evil deeds succeed."

"You dare to provoke U.S., provoke our lives and values, I will absolutely not let you off! I will personally find you, make you pay the price, and make you pay a heavy price for your crimes!" Tony Stark's voice was filled with anger and determination.

"I issue you a final warning, your conspiracy will not succeed, your terrorist organization will be completely destroyed! I will protect my family, my friends, and the entire country, no matter the cost!" Tony Stark's words were full of majesty and power.

Then he smiled sweetly and said, "Oh, by the way, my home address is 10880, Malibu Point, zip code 90265."

Although Tony Stark's last sentence was delivered with a smiling expression, the atmosphere on site was heavy and tense, and the reporters also felt Tony Stark's determination and anger. They knew that this was no longer an ordinary news report, but a real battle against terrorism.

Tony Stark returned home.

"Welcome back, sir," Jarvis's voice rang out.

"Jarvis, initiate Legion Mode," Tony Stark said with a cold snort.

"Yes, sir. Legion Mode has been activated. General, your adjutant Jarvis is standing by," Jarvis said, simultaneously activating all Iron Man suits in the basement.

"Enter alert mode, and activate the suits' stealth mode simultaneously."

"Yes, General," Jarvis replied.

Immediately, all Iron Man suits in the basement emerged from the ground, forming a spectacular legion formation in the air. Following Tony Stark's gesture, these suits seamlessly blended into their surroundings, achieving stealth. Now, Tony Stark's villa was protected by a formidable Iron Legion, ready to confront any incoming enemies.

Everything was ready, just waiting for the opportune moment. Tony Stark was now waiting to lure the wolf into the house and then close the door to catch it. As long as he captured the key figures, Tony Stark was confident he could make them reveal all the information they knew.

Tony Stark stood in his villa, looking down at the sea from above. In this critical moment, he knew that Extremis soldiers were likely to attack, and he had made thorough preparations. He intended to seize the opportunity to lure the Extremis soldiers into his prepared trap and then capture them all.

Just then, dozens of black helicopters rose from the sea, forming a menacing formation, heading straight for Tony Stark's villa.

The vigilant Iron Man suits detected these enemies, and Jarvis immediately reported to Tony Stark: "General, enemies incoming!"

Tony Stark's gaze sharpened as he calmly analyzed the situation. He issued the command: "Position all Iron Man suits around the villa for defense; do not let them get close."

The helicopter formation drew closer to the villa. Tony Stark stood on the terrace, his gaze sharp as he watched them. His eyes conveyed determination and resolve; he would never let these terrorists succeed. Tony Stark relayed the command to Jarvis, instructing the Iron Man suits to surround the incoming enemies.

"Understood, General," Jarvis's voice responded, confirming that the suits were ready.

The suits formed a massive encirclement, completely trapping the helicopter formation. Tony Stark stood high above, his eyes fixed on the enemy. He knew it was time to lure the wolf into the house to completely destroy this terrorist organization.

The helicopter formation realized they were surrounded by Iron Man suits, but they did not retreat. Instead, they changed their flight direction, attempting to break through the encirclement and escape. However, Tony Stark had already anticipated this and quickly commanded a tactical adjustment, reforming an even tighter encirclement that completely trapped the enemies.

The battle erupted as the armed helicopters launched a fierce attack, firing missiles and bullets at the Iron Man suits. The suits deftly dodged the enemy's attacks while retaliating. Powerful energy beams shot from the suits' hands, striking the enemies, and one helicopter after another was shot down.

Tony Stark stood high above, overlooking the intense battle. The Iron Man suits displayed unparalleled combat power, deftly dodging tracking missiles while using powerful energy beams to shoot down enemy helicopters one by one.

The Extremis soldiers in the helicopter formation were in a frenzy; their attacks were perfectly blocked by the Iron Man suits. Tony Stark's Legion Mode brought them immense pressure and strike, and they even felt unable to contend with these powerful suits.

"We need to escape! We fell into his trap!" a terrorist roared.

However, this battle was just the beginning for Tony Stark. He had no intention of letting these enemies escape easily; he was determined to completely eradicate this terrorist organization.

"Jarvis, launch an EMP pulse to disrupt the enemy's communication and navigation systems," Tony Stark commanded.

"Yes, sir," Jarvis immediately executed the order. The Iron Man suits launched powerful EMP pulses, instantly disrupting the enemy's communication and navigation systems, plunging them into chaos.

Seizing the moment of the enemy's confusion, the Iron Man suits launched an even fiercer attack. Energy beams, like lightning, streaked across the night sky, striking the enemy's helicopters and scattering them in flight.

"No!" the Extremis soldiers gritted their teeth. However, under the Iron Man suits' assault, they were already in a desperate situation. Some even abandoned their helicopters and jumped into the sea.

Tony Stark's gaze was cold and resolute. "After destroying the armed helicopters, capture and knock out everyone who jumped into the sea."

"Understood, General."

As the battle progressed, the enemy's resistance weakened, and their helicopters were shot down one after another. Tony Stark's Iron Man Legion displayed unparalleled combat power, and their first encounter ended with Tony Stark's perfect victory... After all the Extremis soldiers were captured, Tony Stark brought them back to the laboratory in the basement. There, he had already prepared the equipment for studying the Extremis virus.

"Jarvis, send the blood injected into these Extremis soldiers to the lab," Tony commanded.

"Yes, sir," Jarvis replied, sending the Extremis soldiers' blood samples to the lab.

In the lab, Tony Stark carefully studied the Extremis virus within the Extremis soldiers. He discovered that this virus had a very powerful transformative effect on the human body, allowing people to gain superhuman strength and speed, and even the ability to repair and regenerate damaged tissues.

However, Tony Stark also noted that the Extremis virus was not suitable for everyone. It had very stringent requirements for the human body, necessitating strict genetic modification and adaptability tests. Individuals unable to adapt to the virus would experience severe immune rejection, leading to the rapid self-destruction of their own cells, resulting in terrifying explosions.

"Jarvis, analyze the genetic data of these Extremis soldiers and look for common characteristics that allow them to adapt to the virus," Tony Stark commanded.

"Yes, sir," Jarvis responded and began analyzing the genetic data.

Tony Stark was engrossed in his research, understanding that if he could find the common characteristics that allowed adaptation to the Extremis virus, he could better understand the virus and provide more effective means to combat the terrorist organization.

After a period of analysis, Jarvis finally reached a conclusion: "Sir, based on genetic data analysis, these Extremis soldiers all possess specific gene sequences that enable them to adapt to the Extremis virus's modifications."

"Very good, Jarvis," Tony Stark nodded approvingly. "We now know their weakness. If we can find these common characteristics, we can specifically combat this Extremis virus."

Tony Stark continued his in-depth research, hoping to find more clues from the Extremis soldiers' genes. Under his guidance, Jarvis conducted further simulated experiments on the Extremis virus and found some potentially effective antidote directions.

"General, based on the current data, I have calculated a possible antidote formula," Jarvis presented the calculation results to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark carefully read the antidote formula presented by Jarvis, then nodded: "It looks like this plan has potential."

...That day, the sun shone brightly. Rhode, dressed in neat casual clothes, was accompanied by military hospital staff as he left the hospital entrance.

"Mr. Rhode, we wish you a speedy recovery!" The hospital staff offered their blessings. They had witnessed Rhode's miraculous return from the brink of death and were filled with admiration and respect for him.

"Thank you all for your meticulous care!" Rhode replied with a smile, his eyes filled with determination and gratitude.

Just as Rhode was about to get into the car and leave.

"You are Mr. Rhode, aren't you?" the person asked.

"Yes, and you are?" Rhode asked cautiously.

"I am Vice President Rodriguez's assistant. The Vice President wishes to meet you. He is very interested in your heroic performance and hopes to personally express his gratitude to you," the assistant explained.

Rhode's heart stirred. Vice President Rodriguez wanted to see him? This made him both surprised and delighted. With an excited heart, he followed the assistant to the Vice President's office.

In the Vice President's office, Rhode met Vice President Rodriguez and a general, who were seated behind a desk.

"Mr. James Rhodes, your heroic actions fill me with great admiration. Thank you for your dedication; you are a hero to our nation," Vice President Rodriguez stood up and extended his hand to Rhode.

Rhode shook the Vice President's hand, feeling the honor. He said firmly, "I merely did my duty, protecting our country."

Rhode felt very honored by the Vice President's praise and gratitude. He expressed his loyalty and sense of responsibility to the country to the Vice President, and reiterated that he had only fulfilled his duty as a citizen.

Vice President Rodriguez smiled and nodded: "Mr. James Rhodes, your humility and steadfastness are precisely the qualities our nation needs. What you have done is not merely fulfilling a responsibility, but also demonstrating the spirit of a true hero."

Rhode humbly nodded, expressing his honor. Then, the Vice President continued: "James, I heard that you used an advanced Iron Man suit in battle, displaying extraordinary combat power. Your suit brings glory to our nation, representing our strong technological prowess. Therefore, I have a proposal that I hope you will accept."

"Please, Mr. Vice President, state your proposal," Rhode replied cautiously.

Vice President Rodriguez smiled and said, "I would like to rename your suit 'Iron Patriot.' This would not only reflect your bravery and dedication but also symbolize our nation's patriotic spirit. What do you think?"

Rhode was taken aback, not expecting the Vice President to rename his suit. But upon hearing the proposal, a surge of excitement and pride swelled within him. Although he still preferred the name War Machine, he deeply understood that this was not just a name, but an acknowledgment and honor for him and the Iron Man suit he represented.

"It would be a great honor, Mr. Vice President. I am very willing to accept your proposal," Rhode stated solemnly, his eyes gleaming with determination.

Subsequently, the group arrived at the military base, where Rhode saw an Iron Patriot suit waiting. Its appearance had been modified, painted in red, blue, and silver, differing from its previous look, appearing more majestic and powerful.

Vice President Rodriguez looked at the Iron Patriot's new appearance with satisfaction, smiling as he said to Rhode, "It looks like this modification was very successful. It will be a symbol of our nation, representing our unwavering will and powerful national strength."

"Mr. Vice President, thank you for this honor. I will continue to fight to protect our nation and its people," Rhode said solemnly, filled with passion and a sense of responsibility.

Vice President Rodriguez nodded in approval: "Very good, James. I believe you will continue to perform excellently and become the guardian of our nation."

Just as Rhode was about to put on the Iron Patriot suit, a military officer rushed over, his face tense and anxious.

"Reporting, General, we've discovered a group of Extremis soldiers at the border. It appears they are planning a large-scale attack!" the officer reported, glancing at the Vice President and Rhode.

Hearing this news, Rhode's brows furrowed. He knew that Extremis soldiers were an extremely dangerous terrorist organization, and their actions would pose a huge threat to the nation.

"Immediately notify the army to prepare for battle. I must depart at once!" the General issued an urgent order, then said to the Vice President, "Mr. Vice President."

"Go, national security is paramount," Vice President Rodriguez nodded and said.

The General quickly left in his car.

Rhode immediately strode towards the Iron Patriot, preparing to don the suit and engage in a decisive battle with the Extremis soldiers. However, just as he reached the suit, a research scientist stopped him.

"James, I apologize, the suit hasn't reached its optimal state yet. We are still modifying and upgrading it to ensure it can handle more severe combat environments," the scientist explained anxiously.

Rhode was burning with impatience; he knew time was short and he couldn't wait too long. However, he also understood that the suit's condition had to be in its best state, otherwise it would severely impact the battle.

Vice President Rodriguez also walked over, and he said in a deep voice, "James, although time is pressing, we cannot take risks. Let the scientists finish adjusting the suit as quickly as possible. We will dispatch other troops to the border first to deal with the Extremis soldiers."

"No. Mr. Vice President, I cannot stand by and do nothing. This is my inescapable duty; I must personally go to the border to confront the Extremis soldiers," Rhode said firmly.

Vice President Rodriguez looked at Rhode. He knew Rhode was a brave and responsible man, and he understood Rhode's decision. But he still tried to persuade him: "James, your suit isn't fully ready yet. Rushing in might put your life at risk. We will send other elite units to support, and you can join the battle once your suit is prepared."

Rhode, however, shook his head: "Mr. Vice President, I can't wait any longer. The Extremis soldiers are extremely dangerous enemies, and their attacks could lead to the loss of innocent lives. I have a responsibility to protect our nation and its people; I cannot stand by. Please allow me to face them."

The Vice President hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded in agreement: "Alright, James, since you are so insistent, I will allow you to go. Be careful."

Rhode thanked the Vice President for his understanding and support. He knew this would be a dangerous battle, but his heart was filled with determination and resolve. He put on the suit, feeling its power conform to his body, and shot into the sky, flying towards the border.

After Rhode left, the research scientist looked at Vice President Rodriguez with a playful expression and said, "Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Vice President. Soon, you will be in the President's seat."

Rodriguez merely gave him a cold glance: "All I need is for my daughter to be able to stand. If you can't achieve that..."

"Don't worry, Mr. Vice President, everything is moving in a good direction."

..."My plan was perfect, but you unilaterally took charge."

Viper tugged Aldrich's tie, making him look directly into her eyes.

"You don't still think Tony Stark is the same as before, giving out his address and then arrogantly assuming no one would dare mess with him, do you?"

Aldrich untied his tie, then sat on the sofa, saying coldly, "So what? Your plan is to make me drive a wedge between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts?"

Viper merely laughed mockingly: "There's one thing your think tank got right, and that's taking Pepper Potts hostage. And now, your arrival..."

"Is like a snake, a cold, hidden move, right?" Aldrich disliked being merely a pawn.

Viper read his thoughts: "Why do you think you're a pawn? You are my partner." She then clapped her hands, and a Hydra soldier immediately entered with a bottle of gene serum.

Aldrich looked at Viper curiously, not understanding what she was going to do.

"This is a superpower gene serum. I went through a lot of trouble to get it from someone else."

"You mean? To merge my Extremis virus with this bottle of gene serum?" Aldrich raised an eyebrow.

"I believe you can do it," Viper stepped forward.

"I need Maya Hansen's help."

"Of course, and I've also provided you with quite a few research scientists," Viper extended her hands, beginning to massage Aldrich's shoulders.

Then she whispered in his ear, "As for the Hawke Group you're worried about, they won't bother us for a while. You can do whatever you want without worry."

Aldrich felt Viper's hands gently stroking his shoulders, and at the same time, listening to her words, a complex feeling arose in his heart. Viper's plan was indeed clever, but he also understood the risks and costs involved.

"Alright, I'll do my best to complete your plan." Aldrich finally decided to cooperate with Viper and work with her. He knew that Viper had long-term plans, and his cooperation with Maya Hansen would be key to the entire scheme.

"However, I need time for experiments and research; this synthesis won't happen overnight," Aldrich reminded Viper, emphasizing that it wouldn't be an easy task.

Viper smiled and nodded: "I understand. You just need to do your best. We have plenty of time, as long as we can successfully synthesize the superpower gene Extremis virus in the end, that will be enough."

Thus, with the cooperation of Hydra soldiers, Aldrich and Maya Hansen began complex research and experiments. They conducted fusion experiments with the Extremis virus and the superpower gene serum, attempting to create even more powerful super-soldiers.

Throughout the process, Viper closely monitored the progress and continuously provided support and resources. Her plan was gradually unfolding, and Aldrich and Maya Hansen became indispensable key figures in this plan.

As time went on, the research made some progress, but also faced some challenges. The fusion of the Extremis virus and the superpower gene serum was not a simple matter; it carried significant risks, and failure could lead to devastating consequences.

However, Aldrich and Maya Hansen did not back down. They dedicated all their energy and perseverance, striving to solve every problem, constantly conducting experiments and making improvements.

During this process, they gradually discovered some interesting phenomena. The Extremis virus and the superpower gene serum, during the fusion process, seemed to establish a balance with each other, resulting in super-soldiers that possessed greater abilities than either the standalone Extremis virus or the superpower gene.

At the same time, Viper's plan gradually revealed a greater ambition. She not only hoped to create powerful super-soldiers but also planned to use these soldiers to achieve broader goals, influencing national and global situations... Nathan Hawke sat in his office, watching the latest developments in the global situation. The Mandarin's Extremis soldiers launched a series of terrorist attacks on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, The Mandarin's Extremis soldiers indeed launched multiple terrorist attacks, which had a huge impact worldwide. Although the Hawke Group had dispatched superheroes to various locations for support, casualties caused by the Extremis soldiers still occurred. Furthermore, a large number of unfavorable comments about the Hawke Group emerged online, escalating and causing severe damage to the company's reputation and image. However, in reality, the situation was not at all as described online.

Nathan knew that this action by the Extremis soldiers was a direct challenge to the Hawke Group. Their goal was not just to create terror, but also to distort the Hawke Group's image in public opinion, making it a negative target of global attention.

He convened the senior leadership of the Hawke Group for an emergency strategic meeting. In the meeting, they collectively analyzed the current situation and discussed solutions to deal with the Extremis soldiers.

"We cannot allow the Extremis soldiers to continue spreading rumors and negative information online," Nathan said. "We must strengthen our social media presence, publish the true situation, and let the public understand everything we are doing and the efforts our heroes are making."

The senior leaders nodded in agreement, realizing this was an effective counter-strategy. They decided to strengthen the public relations team and collaborate with the media to convey the Hawke Group's positive image and contributions to the public.

At the same time, they also decided to intensify their efforts against the Extremis soldiers. Nathan demanded coordinated global action, mobilizing all available resources to jointly combat this threat... Back in his office, Nathan Hawke watched Hawkeye being brought in by his secretary.

"Have a seat. What would you like to drink?"

"A cold fruit juice, please, thank you." Hawkeye sat on the sofa, ready to discuss the upcoming matters with Nathan Hawke.

Nathan Hawke sat in his spacious office, gravely observing Hawkeye who stood before him.

Hawkeye, a top Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., his presence made Nathan realize the importance of this meeting.

"A glass of iced juice, please, thank you," Hawkeye replied politely, sitting on the comfortable sofa, his expression calm and focused.

Nathan Hawke nodded, signaling his secretary to pour juice for Hawkeye before leaving the office.

He knew Hawkeye wouldn't come to him for a minor issue, especially after the recent terrorist attacks by Mandarin's Extremis Soldiers.

"Mr. Nathan, we've recently been dealing with terrorist attacks by Extremis Soldiers globally, and we're severely understaffed," Hawkeye stated directly.

"Yes, the situation is indeed grim," Nathan took a deep breath, "We've already dispatched Superheroes to various locations for support, but the scale and frequency of the Extremis Soldiers' actions are overwhelming us."

"Exactly, that's why I'd like your Superheroes to focus solely on America," Hawkeye continued to explain, "As for the situation in other countries, S.H.I.E.L.D. will handle it."

Nathan Hawke was silent for a moment, then asked, "Why this arrangement? Is S.H.I.E.L.D. not strong enough?"

A flicker of hesitation crossed Hawkeye's eyes, then he answered frankly, "The truth is, we suspect there might be an insider within S.H.I.E.L.D."

Nathan Hawke's brow furrowed slightly; he understood the gravity of the situation.

"Are you saying that the Extremis Soldiers are able to operate freely within America because someone is leaking information?"

"Yes, every time we plan to apprehend Extremis Soldiers, the enemy always seems to know in advance.

We can only capture some small-scale targets, but we haven't truly caught the big figures behind the scenes," Hawkeye explained.

"This is not good," Nathan Hawke feigned a heavy heart, knowing that a larger conspiracy lay behind the Extremis Soldiers' terrorist actions.

"So, we hope to concentrate our efforts on dealing with Extremis Soldiers in other countries, and leave the situation in America to your Superheroes.

By cooperating, we believe we can better combat the Extremis Soldiers," Hawkeye proposed.

Nathan Hawke considered it for a moment, then agreed with Hawkeye's suggestion.

"Alright, I'll inform them to prioritize the Extremis Soldier situation here in America."

"Thank you, Mr. Nathan," Hawkeye nodded to Nathan, his expression resolute.

After Hawkeye left, Shadow came before Nathan Hawke: "Didn't find anyone."

"You've worked hard.

Would you like something to drink?" Nathan Hawke asked.

"Thank you, no need," Shadow said.

"If you want to go, then go.

There's nothing much happening lately," Nathan Hawke said seriously.

Shadow nodded, then vanished directly in a phantom image.

Nathan Hawke, meanwhile, sat on the sofa, drinking his beverage, his dress shoes propped on the table.

"It seems Aldrich is colluding with HYDRA.

How interesting.

However, this style of action doesn't seem like the work of Pierce and Baron Strucker, so it must be the work of other HYDRA members.

I'm truly looking forward to the mystery being unveiled."

On the other side, Pepper Potts, who had already informed Tony Stark about Aldrich and Mandarin, arrived at Tony Stark's Villa after settling the Hawk Group's affairs.

"Good evening, Miss Pepper," Jarvis's voice appeared.

"Hello, Jarvis, where's Tony?" Pepper Potts asked.

"He's in the Laboratory conducting an experiment with Miss Helen Zhao," Jarvis said.

"Helen Zhao?" Pepper Potts's eyes narrowed slightly, asking in surprise.

"Yes, Ms. Helen Zhao is sir's friend," Jarvis replied.

"I see," Pepper Potts subconsciously nodded, then cautiously walked towards the Laboratory.

Pepper Potts pushed open the Laboratory door and saw Tony Stark intently conducting an experiment with a young woman named Helen Zhao.

Helen Zhao was a young woman with an Asian face, appearing very intelligent and focused.

"Tony, I'm here," Pepper Potts said softly, trying not to disturb their experiment.

Tony turned his head, a bright smile on his face.

"Pepper, you're here.

This is Helen Zhao; we're working on a new technology project together."

Helen Zhao nodded slightly, welcoming Pepper Potts.

"Hello, Miss Pepper.

I've heard Mr. Tony mention you; it's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Hello, Ms. Helen Zhao," Pepper responded politely, filled with curiosity about this young woman.

She knew Tony didn't often collaborate with strangers; anyone working with him on an experiment must be very special.

Tony Stark redirected his attention back to the experiment, explaining to Pepper, "Helen is helping me research the Extremis injected into Extremis Soldiers.

She's an excellent Scientist, with in-depth research in biology and virology."

Pepper Potts showed interest in Helen Zhao: "That sounds very interesting.

Have you made any new discoveries about Extremis?"

Helen Zhao smiled and nodded: "Yes, we've found a potential solution in our research.

Extremis seems to have a self-regulating property, allowing it to stably exist and continuously evolve within the host body.

We are currently looking for a way to interfere with Extremis's self-regulating mechanism, thereby weakening its attack power, or even making it self-destruct."

Tony then explained, "Our goal is to find a way to weaken the activity of Extremis, or even completely destroy it.

This way, the Extremis Soldiers will no longer pose a threat."

Helen Zhao nodded, presenting an experimental report.

"In our experiments, we found that the self-regulation of Extremis is primarily achieved through a special protein.

We are currently trying to synthesize a special viral inhibitor, hoping to interfere with the function of this protein, thereby weakening the activity of Extremis."

Tony Stark's eyes lit up with excitement after hearing Helen Zhao's experimental report.

"If we can find an effective way to weaken Extremis, then the Extremis Soldiers will no longer pose a threat."

He began to busy himself in the Laboratory, pulling up several computer screens displaying various data and charts.

Helen Zhao also joined the experiment; she and Tony analyzed the characteristics and behavior of Extremis, trying to find a suitable solution.

Pepper Potts stood quietly to the side, watching the two of them work intensely and focused.

She knew this was a daunting task, but if anyone could successfully combat the Extremis Soldiers and Extremis, it would be Tony Stark and his team.

After several hours of intense research and experimentation, Tony Stark and Helen Zhao finally had some groundbreaking discoveries.

"I think we can interfere with Extremis's self-regulating mechanism by altering its genetic code," Helen Zhao proposed an interesting idea, "If we can make Extremis unstable during its evolution, it will lose its attack power."

Tony nodded in agreement: "Exactly, but we must proceed with caution.

Improper operation could lead to Extremis worsening, or trigger unpredictable consequences."

He then made an amplifying gesture: "That would be an explosion."

"Yes, we must be careful.

I will continue with simulations and experiments to see if we can find a safe and effective method," Helen Zhao stated.

Tony Stark patted Helen Zhao on the shoulder: "You're doing great, Helen.

I believe we can find a solution."

Pepper Potts watched their seamless cooperation, feeling proud of them.

"We need to make a breakthrough as soon as possible, and then prepare to create an antidote to counter Extremis," Tony Stark said to Pepper Potts, "Once the antidote is prepared, we can inject it into the bodies of the Extremis Soldiers, allowing them to revert to ordinary people."

Pepper listened from the side, nodding in agreement and softly saying, "Yes, this will be a powerful means to strip the Extremis Soldiers of their Superpowers, making them ordinary and harmless.

We cannot allow the Extremis Soldiers to continue causing terror and destruction."

Tony and Helen Zhao continued their intensive experiments and research, constantly optimizing their plans and searching for the safest and most efficient solution.

The entire development process was not easy, but they both knew that success would be a huge victory against the Extremis Soldiers.

"Pepper," Tony Stark said.

"Yes, is there anything you need help with?" Pepper Potts, who had originally been leaning on the sofa feeling a bit tired, immediately stood up, wide awake, and asked upon hearing Tony's voice.

"I need you to go to the Hawk Group, ideally to have Nathan Hawke come here, and at the same time, give Rhodes a call to come over.

I remember he was discharged from the hospital, and please tell him I'm sorry; I was too busy the day he was discharged," Tony Stark said while simultaneously operating other things.

"Leave it to me, I'll go right away," Pepper Potts was about to leave when.

"Pepper," Tony Stark looked at her, hesitant to speak.

"What's wrong?" Pepper Potts asked curiously; at this moment, she looked very cute in Tony's eyes.

Tony Stark chuckled and cursed, "Idiot, it's already dark.

Go tomorrow."

Pepper Potts couldn't help but laugh after hearing Tony's words.

"Alright, I'll go tomorrow.

You should also pay attention to rest; don't be busy all day long."

"Don't worry, I will," Tony Stark showed a relaxed smile, watching Pepper leave the Laboratory.

The next day, Pepper Potts went to the Hawk Group as Tony had arranged.

She entered Nathan Hawke's office and saw him sitting at his desk.

"Mr. Nathan, Tony sent me to see you; there's an important matter to discuss," Pepper Potts said.

"Is that so? Then let's sit down and talk," Nathan politely invited her to sit.

Pepper and Nathan began to converse, and Pepper conveyed Tony's request to Nathan, hoping he could come for a visit.
