Jada weaved her way through the dome, going in between bushes and the rows of small homes, sniffing the air as she went. Council Leader Vorik and Orik followed behind her, wondering what was going on.
"I probably look like a dog following a scent. I'm not a dog, but yes, I'm following a scent." She told them, giggling. She was laughing at herself because she was comparing herself to a dog following a scent trail. She remembered having a hunting dog with them when she went hunting with her family. The dog would run ahead of them, following the scent of the animal they were hunting, then would indicate to them where the animal was located so they could shoot it.
"What's a dog?" Council Leader Vorik asked Orik, confused, as they followed close behind Jada. Orik shrugged in response, having no idea what a dog was, either.
