"Arhhhhhhhhhh!!!."
Damian shouted with his blood covered face, and in blinding blue light shot from the ground, sending ripples of the earth as he propelled himself upward.
Malcon was surprised at how determined Damian was to win the match, it looked like though he was weighing to put his life on the line as long as he won.
There was a thunderous bang as both their fists collided, sending shockwaves through the arena. As they landed on the ground, Adriana swiftly attempted to punch Damian in the face. He reacted instantly, blocking with his left hand while simultaneously striking him with his right. The force sent Adrian's face slamming into the ground. Without hesitation, he delivered a ruthless kick to his stomach, launching him several meters away.
Adrian slowly stood, blood streaming down his face as he breathed heavily.
"Mana Magic!" Damian shouted, striking his hand through the air.
A thick, blue, radiating line of energy burst from his palm. Caught by surprise, Adrian couldn't defend himself. The mana struck his stomach, launching him backward with a devastating force, shockwaves rippling through the arena.
Adrian with both his feet firm to the ground he broke the fall. Looking at him Malcon could see how beaten up he was, he couldn't imagine how many bones he had left.
For a while Adrian stood still thinking. He knew he was faster and stronger than Damian, but what gave Damian an edge above or equal to him, was the use of his mana. And throughout the match he had been trying to activate the mana magic himself, making him distracted and still he wasn't able to achieve such power.
"let's end this" he said standing on guard
"let's end this" he said standing on guard
Malcon felt a sudden cold wind pass, and in a blink of an eye Adrian stood in front of Damian, his fist moving towards his chest.
'So fast' Damian said to himself, releasing he couldn't block the attack.
Damian spat out a mouth full of blood as an immense force took him off his feet, but he didn't go far as something grabbed him. Out of reflexes he quickly covered his head but the immense pressure he felt broke the amour smashing him to the ground.
He tried to move but he couldn't, his body was human and all he could see was a pair of two white breathtaking eyes staring down at him.
Adrian slightly bent down, using his left hand he grabbed Damian's head raising him up from the ground. With his fist he aimed to punch Damian.
"I yield" Damian affected defeat, at the last second.
For a while Adrian stood still, his fist an inch away from Damian's face, as though he was deliberating if he should let him go or not.
There was a soft thud as Damian fell to the ground.
"And we have a winner" Ecard announced, raising Adrians hand for the audience to see, and they all cheered.
Two medic appeared and after discussing with Ecard they vanished with Adrian and Damian.
The king couldn't believe that children of less than eighteen, were using their ability to such a level. Deeping his hand into the box, and bought out two pieces of paper.
"number two and number six." He shouted.
A tall girl elegantly walked into the battlefield, her black long hair flowed gracefully behind her.
All the girls cheered her as she walked past the wall of weapons that had appeared.
If Malcon was to rank, he was certain Megan was in the top five strongest, but her entering the battlefield empty handed was a little bit too much.
The second person to enter into the battlefield was Luke, a boy with messy brown hair, and a well curved oval face. His body slightly trembled as he walked into the arena holding a spare.
Ecard on the other hand looked like he was trying hard to hold himself from laughing.
"Looks like I made a bad pick." the king said, smiling, noticing the boy's Uneasiness
"I suppose." Denrik added, his cold eye still fixed at the battle.
"Fight." Ecard shouted, vanishing.
Luke clenched tight to his spare, getting ready for the worst.
Suddenly it looked like though he had been petrified, his eyes wide open.
'what is this?' Luke asked himself.
The moment his eyes interlocked with Megan glowing blue eyes, he felt a sudden cold air sweep past him.
Still staring at the underworldly blue eyes.
"I yield." he had himself said aloud.
Megan slowly turned her back and left.
Luke blinked his eyes continuously, his brain orienting itself to what just transpired.
"And we have a winner." Ecard announced.
For a while everyone was quiet. All he saw was Luck yelding without a fight, which surprised him greatly.
"Wooooo!"
The girls cheered in amessment as Megan walked out of the arena.
"Mind control," the king said smiling, "very impressive." he added.
"Indeed, your grace," Denrik commented.
"But I would have preferred a physical combat, don't you think?"
"In my opinion, I believe the match would have still ended in favour of the young lady." Denrik confessed, " the young man was obviously shivering on entering the battlefield, plus the gap in power level. The girl was already a veteran while the boy was still a specialist" he added.
"True, true." the king said, picking up another paper.
"Candidate number twenty, and candidate number eleven" the king called out.
"You've got this," Malcon said, turning his head to Bane, who looked a little bit nervous.
"Thanks." he said standing up.
"And make sure you carry a weapon." Malcon shouted, causing Bane to smile.
Bane walked into the battlefield with a sword he had selected.
His opponent was Silas Graves, a boy with green messy hair and an emerald green eye, he had a muscular shaped face, and a scare ran across His left eye down to his jaw making him look a little bit fierce. He walked into the battlefield holding a black gun.
"Fight," Ecard shouted, vanishing.
Silas quickly took a few steps back allowing the sword to cut mid air.
Malcon was surprised Silas saw the attack. Bane wanted to end the duel with a single attack, but what surprised him the most was when he saw Silas smile.
"Let's play, shall we?" he asked with a devilish smile on his face, his green eyes glowing.
"Sorry, but am not intrested in playing." Bane said coldly, pointing his sword at Silas.
