Alex continued to put pressure on the Evans family, making Adrian and Dylan miserable. Bella was sad because her daughter did not accept her. She wanted her two sons to come back and be friends, but they did not care, which made her even more frustrated.
The only thing that made her a little happier was that Lucy showed signs of recovery. At least now, the second person she was willing to be close to was the person who loved her the most – her grandmother.
"Lucy, in this house, you are the only one who is in my little cotton jacket. Look at your two cousins, they are so busy that they cannot meet. And your father and uncle, that is not to mention."
"Is work really that busy? How important is making money? Is it more important than my mood?"
Lucy gently comforted:
"Grandma, my father seems to be very busy."
"Busy? What kind of busy? What talent does your father have that I don't know? No matter how busy he is, he can't be better than the Knight family, right?"
